They are not active probably because of a variety of reasons but I suspect that the main reason why they have not listed any products as yet is because they have not yet fully appreciated the potential and benefits of listing with TripleClicks.

I would suggest that you try and get all the local affiliates to connect with these ECAs indicating that we are ready to support and promote them and their products. The ECAs can see the connections for themselves.

They are already in the system so it should be easier to do more promotional work with them. You may not have referred the ECAs in the first place but your local business community will get to know you through your work. You will develop a favourable reputation among them and they will in time make referrals to you for listing their products and services on TripleClicks.

I would suggest that you make contact with the ECAs and make an appointment with the decision makers and then go and visit them. The meeting focus must be on how TripleClicks can help promote the ECAs business. Be frank about the fact that this will be a win win situation where both parties will benefit from the arrangement.

At the meeting, if possible, log onto TripleClicks and show then around the store: the large range of products and services available; the types; countries where they come from; prices etc.

Explain to them that the affiliates actively promote ECAs products especially the products which are most appealing to them. The affiliates themselves are also TripleClicks customers. As well as TC members, their products are also exposed to other internet users and surfers. There are over 2 million TC members so the market among members is by itself huge but it is also an international market.

Explain to them that from their point of view, all they have to do is list their products on TripleClicks at no cost to them. TripleClicks will retain a nominal amount when there is a sale but otherwise if there is no sale, they do not have to pay anything to promote their products.

They can also promote their products and services elsewhere if they wish. This is not an exclusive arrangement.

Be enthusiastic but let the facts speak for themselves. I am certain that they would become active once they fully appreciate the value of what is being offered to them.

Do not abandon them once they start listing products. Keep and eye on them and make contacts with them regularly. They will tell other business people about your services.

Regardless of what personal characteristics and skills we have - all can succeed with SFI if we are open and be receptive to learning new things and to personal development.

First we need to have a goal or a destination, where we want to be or what we want. We then work out a strategy or a plan on how to get there. This should identify the skills we need to get there and our own personal characteristical needs. What we do from here on depends largely on each individual.

Some of the main and general characteristics and skill we need are:

- BEING FOCUSED and single mindedly driven. Dont be distracted by other enticing money making businesses and schemes. Focus on our goals.

- We need to BE PATIENT and to persevere. Dont give up easily. Keep at it consistently even on those off days when you do not feel like working at the business. Even when the knockers are knocking loudly and trying to dissuade you.

- OPENNESS. Be open and receptive to new learning, new ideas and new way of doing things. Be open to advice and to learn from others.

- HUMILITY. This does not mean being weak, shy and putting yourself down. It means accepting who you are. Acknowledging your strengths and weaknesses. Work on your weaknesses and develop these characteristics. Regarding your strengths, celebrate these and capitalise on them, using them also for the benefits of others.

- BUSINESS PROFICIENCY. SFI is a real and serious business and it needs to be conducted with business proficiency. This is not a hobby. The aim is financial freedom and this will never be achieved if we treat SFI as a hobby. We need to develop real business skills and run it like any other real business.

These are only some of the attributes, characteristics and skills we need to be successful in SFI.

Be loyal to yourself, to SFI and to your team.

When you set your goals for yourself and your team, be single minded about it. Apply yourself with diligence and with patience. It takes time and hard work to be successful.

SFI provides all the training and the tools to be successful - use all of them to your advantage. Use all the marketing aids you are able to. Use all the advice about the methods and system which have been tested and tried over 15 years in the business, especially about being an awesome sponsor. Be open to advice and suggestions.

You also need to be innovative. Try out new things and new ways and if they work for you, share it with the others. Thats one way of being loyal to SFI and your team.

Study the profiles and the ways of the successful members of SFI and imitate them. Do what they have done.

The biggest barriers that all international members are faced with are the currency exchange and shipping charges.

There is little that can be done about the currency exchange but a lot can be done to reduce shipping charges. That is why the following products are ‘great for international members.’

- All products that are delivered digitally such as e-books, marketing products, digital services such as website building, online training etc.. Anything that does not involve a physical product being shipped.

- Free Shipping products. Researches have confirmed that those purchasing online definitely prefer buying items which are shipped to them free of charged. This is often preferred over discount prices. As an incentive ECAs may want to consider free shipping to TC members.

- Products that are locally available. These are invariably cheaper to ship to local members than products purchased from ECAs in other countries. Great for transfer buying.

Eliminating or reducing shipping product costs are great for international members.

The short answer here is for you to Lead your Team and be an Awesome Sponsor/Co Sponsor.

Always remember that your team members are all real people, with dreams and aspirations and most likely loved ones who may be dependent upon them.

They have joined SFI for a variety of reasons but if you look at their profiles you will see that it is most likely 'to get out of debt' 'to be wealthy' 'improve my standard of living' etc.. These all have one thing in common, they want to be successful. Your own reasons for joining SFI are most likely similar. Remember that.

Your role is to assist them achieve their goals and thereby achieving your own goals. Its a win/win situation.

You can coach them to earn money within SFI using all the income streams available, but I strongly recommend that you coach them and teach them the art of Duplication. Work hard at this.

Duplication, as I see it, is the key to your success and to those of your affiliates.
Teach and coach them on how to recruit and sponsor their own teams of affiliates. Be an awesome sponsor and co sponsor. This to me is the single most important thing that a Team Leader should do.

I believe that one of the most important things to bear in mind at all times is that your team members are people. They are just like all of us. We all have our pride, we need to be appreciated, we don’t like working in isolation, we have our up days and down days, we need encouragement every now and then, we don’t know everything and need help from time to time. We all need mentors, coaches, models, helpers – Sponsors! regardless of who we are or our state in life.

So be there for your team, supporting them. Teach them the business and show them by your own example how to run the business.

Treat them as your business partners, after all, your own success depends to a large extent on their success.

Focus on helping them succeed. If you do that well, duplication will naturally follow.

Recruiting hundreds of new PSAs each year is a great goal so long as you are able to cope with SPONSORING them: teaching them, encouraging and motivating them.

Not all those who you recruit will be active PSAs and we all know that a large percentage of them will do nothing. Recruiting can be an expensive activity, financially and time wise, so there is a need to strategize to achieve your goals.

I recommend that you look for those workers who will become EAs or higher and will work on duplication to develop EAs themselves. To find these, you may have to initially recruit and sponsor hundreds of PSAs each year.

When you have found these people (EA) you can reduce your level of PSA recruiting and really concentrate on working with them. You will of course still carry on with PSA recruiting & sponsoring not only to continue building your team but also to replace those EAs that leave SFI or drop off the active list.

So to answer your question, I would say one is no better than the other. Its a matter of strategising. Find those EA by initial massive recruiting and then focus on those EA for duplication purposes.

I would recommend that you 1st explain what SFI is and what TripleClicks is. You cannot explain one without referring to the other.

The aim here is to be brief and simple.

Tell the people that you talk to that SFI is the 'mother company' that owns an online store called TripleClicks.

Explain that our role is primarily to be sales people and promoters of the store. If the people we refer to the store buy from the store we get commission on their purchases and on any other purchases thereafter as long as we remain members of SFI. There are other income streams in SFI but the store is the main one.

Our other role is to be promoters and recruiters of SFI. The people that we recruit we sponsor and coach into the business and help them become successful promoters of TripleClicks and recruiters for SFI themselves.

Make sure that you know the facts about SFI/TripleClicks so that you can answer questions they may have. A good source is the article 'SFI by the numbers' in the SFI News.

As long as they have not opted out of the system just keep on connecting with them. Even if they dont respond to your emails, just keep on sending them.

Many people who sign up remain inactive for weeks and months only to become active at a later date. The reasons for this are many and varied: not knowing what to do, fear, family circumstances - procrastinating, busy with work etc..

I personally signed up and then because of work did not do anything about it until about 2 weeks later. The emails from Support and my Sponsor kept me aware of SFI and got me started. I currently have PSAs who have become active after long periods of absence. One of them is going to be an EA this month after being inactive for 2 months after joining.

Yes it is definitely worth it. Keep sending those supportive emails. Be patient and keep on persisting with them.

I know that strictly speaking, it is not part of the Launchpad lessons but it is the most important thing that all Affiliates need to learn. The Basics. We need to be reminded of it from time to time getting ourselves focused on our business. Our core business.

If I have to pick which Launchpad is best, then I would have to say the one for Day 3 ‘Are You On The "Anti-Wealth Plan"?’ This lesson for me really sets the tone of what SFI is about – long term financial freedom – need to work for it – not a get rich quick business – rewards can be well into retirement.
