From my personal experience, the best way to build a team with true team spirit in SFI lies on the following factors.
1. Knowledge: Knowledge is the major factor that helps us in building a team with true team spirit. We must try as much as possible to acquire all the information we'll need to build up a solid team in our first month while undergoing the free SFI training. This will help us in tackling any difficulty we might face in the process of this business.
2. Commitment: This is an important factor that cannot be ignored. When you have acquired the knowledge that will help you bulid up a successful business and a solid team as well, you have to set into action. Be focused and try to put into action all that you have learnt.
3. Perseverance: This factor comes into play at certain intervals. When you encounter any obstacle in the course of building up your team, never relent. Persevere cause you may never know whether that is your stepping stone to greater heights.
4. Communication: This is a very vital factor in SFI that if neglected will take your business to nowhere. Try and build a good and effective communication link between you and your team members. By doing so, this will make them feel they are not alone.
5. Encouragement: Discouragement destroys a solid team building. When any of your team member works hard, try and encourage him/her by sending messages that denotes encouragement to him/her. You can as well express your happiness in terms of gifts, awards, etc. When a team member is appreciated on his/her level of success, that will encourage the person to strive for more.
6. Lead by example: Nothing speaks more of a leader than his/her actions. Let your actions speak for you. When you lead by example, your team members will be motivated to follow suit.
If all these factors are well considered, nothing can stop you from building a team with a true team spirit in SFI.

Hi,

Many suggest good leadership, teamwork and communication, which are very true. To help us expand on those incredibly important components, here are some of the things required to build a team with true spirit in SFi

1. Establish a team vision

All affiliates need to know what the vision, mission and/or goal. It is important for all SFI affiliates to embrace their goals set under the goal tab.

2. Believe in your own self worth

You're good enough and smart enough. Instill this notion everytime you send team mail to your affiliates.

3. Practice common leadership skills

Be an awesome sponsor

4. Help each other win

In good spirit teams, when an affiliate accomplishes something, it adds to the greater good of you. Everything matters when moving forward.

5. Always think positively about SFI at every opportunity

It is important to remind ourselves, no matter what, try to keep it positive. Only then you can motivate and encourage your affiliates.

6. Do everything with enthusiasm

Attitude and enthusiasm are contagious, and if you want your affiliates to be that way, then you need to help. With that said, it is normal to have a bad day, and this is when it is even more important that you have good people around you (eg: your sponsor, upline team leader and a2a friends) to help.

7. Believe in what you are doing and never give up

Self-efficacy is defined as ones ability to complete task including daily to-do list action and reach goals. It is also enhanced by what you tell yourself what you can do.

8. Have fun – communicate that fun to your affiliates

“If SFI was fun, then we would call it fun, not work”. Work and being on a good team can be incredibly fun, while being personally and professionally rewarding.

There is a lot to creating a great team with true spirit in SFI. There are no magic switches that will turn everything better. However, if we keep working on it, keep investing in our team and getting the right people (those 5 active affiliates), we will make a difference.

This is what I have done to try to build TEAM cohesion and strength. To let you know when I talk about TEAM this includes every generation and CSA's.

1) I send weekly TEAM mail
2) I review the individual TEAM member and reach out to them on a personal level (this includes translating English into their native language).
3) I have created a TEAM Newsletter that has various incentives just for those subscribed (I do have regular incentives through my TEAM mail, but these ones are for those that are really serious).
4) In the Newsletter I offer to promote my ECA's products to all that are subscribed.
5) I have created a Facebook group for my TEAM to get a more personal feel what their thoughts, concerns or motivation may be.
6) I am available through Skype for one-on-one help.
7) Everybody has my email

I do all these things to give what I feel is the most complete help I can provide. By offering this help I have seen it encourage my TEAM to try to repeat the process with their TEAM which leads to duplication. Everybody knows I am not just a anonymous name but an actual person willing to help them any way I can.

The best way to build a TEAM is to show your PSAs that truly "Together Everyone Achieves More."

1. Contact them immediately after their sign-up. SFI can be overwhelming and some PSAs will need help getting started.

2. Use Google Translate to communicate with them in their native language.

3. Show them that you are there to support them and to help them succeed. Send individual emails with tips, encouragement, and advice based on their performance and their needs.

4. Recognize their success and achievements, both publicly and privately.

5. If financially capable run a contest where the prize is a gift certificate because many affiliates will appreciate the reward. If not financially capable you can reward them with TCredits or PSA reassignment.

Ultimately, your PSAs and CSAs need to know that you are there for them. In my experience, people are willing to work hard for you when they know they have your support.

The following factors constitute the best way to build a good team in the true team spirit in SFI:

1) Adequate oversight: Always check on other members through genealogy or mover to know if anyone is not making enough progress or not making at all. Treat their matters individually, this makes everyone feels accepted. Though you have to watch against becoming too overbearing. And of course don’t waste your time on those who can never be motivated just as Gery Carson would say “Don’t dwell on trivialities”

2) Give commendation: How do you feel after making an achievement and you suddenly see commendations from your sponsors, other members of your up-line, your PSA, CSA etc, especially on the weekly posts? Really it makes you feel wow! You’re in one big family where everybody is recognized and cared for and indeed SFI is one big FAMILY. This shows itself in the new system of congratulating latest status’ earners under growth tab and also the badges that show your rank, achievements and how hardworking you are.

3) Give incentives: Just of recent, I was a kind of being slow to re-qualify as EA, my co-sponsor sent me a mail that if I was able to re-qualify, she would send me 50 TCredits. Even though I intended doing so before but her offer made me feel wow! someone cares for my success and I was moved into action: she made good her promise.

4) Timeliness: You must be timely in your reply of mails. If at any time you fail to reply on time, give apology. By this you show responsibility to them and the mutuality grows.

5) Commitment: You have to be fully engrossed into your SFI business. Don't be the type who fails to visit his/her home page daily except for some reasons beyond your control. You have to do all your tasks without omitting any including placing adverts. This will motivate your team and they will follow your example. I have not seen anyone who does this business with passion that failed.

Personally each and everyone of us are different in how we communicate with our Team. However the best advise I can truly give you is to be consistant, available and supportive.

Meaning I've only been here at SFI for 1 Month (BTL). However immediately I created a Blog for my Team as well's an Ebook to assist them with most popular Q&A, helpful links, available resources and more. I also connect with them via email, phone and skype and alway's provide a language option (This is incase english is not their native language)

I also offer prizes for meeting certain goals.

When your a part of a team it's important everyone feels like they truly are a team. Never let them feel like your only in it for the money. Because you would be of no assistance to them since everyone learns at their own pace. Basically think of when you first started, what were some of the Pros and Cons? How could you have been assisted better? Keep those questions in consideration when your helping your team. You do this and your sure to have a Happy and Successful team!

I've read a lot of misunderstanding about building a team here at SFI. SFI has unique features that some other team building don't have. Here at SFI we work with our affiliates individually. Your affiliates don't have much relationship among themselves. So, the Team that we are talking about here is YOU and your INDIVIDUAL affiliates.

The objective here is really to make your individual affiliates become successful, because your success depends on their success.

1. Recruitment - The first step of building an SFI team is to recruit your first batch of affiliates. Your first batch must be able to jump-start your business, otherwise you will discourage and quit. Here are the characteristics of your first batch.
a) They must be keen and been in online marketing or network marketing or fond of joining online business opportunities.
b) Have tried buying online, or have credit card or paypal account.

These are important because once they see the great opportunity of SFI they will immediately bring their business to higher level. It means good income for you.

Start recruiting from your network of relationship, friends, family members acquaintances. Then launch into online marketing for people you don't know, but have same characteristics as a) and b). Search for them in forums Face Books and PTC sites.

2. Prepare yourself to be a helpful team leader - Read every aspect of SFI and TripleClicks website. Digest the information so that when you affiliates ask you you have answer. Learn how to encourage your affiliates and the most important is learn some techniques and strategies that you can pass on to your affiliates. be sure you are applying what you are sharing.

3. Build personal/friendly relationship with your affiliates. - work as friends, help him as friend.

I will repeat, make it a goal for them to be successful, honestly if none of your affiliates are successful, you will not be successful too.

True team spirit comes from interacting with each other in as many ways as possible. SFI is set up so that we are all separate groups, and within our group are several other groups. The rule of 3 or 5 duplication. We mentor 3-5 people in our first line. This means that we have several people building their own groups and teaching these people to build individual groups. This makes building true team spirit difficult, but here are some suggestions for making it work.

1. When sending weekly messages include your whole genealogy and praise those at the top of each group regardless of rank or level in your downline.
2. Take advantage of every stream message opportunity to praise individuals regardless of their sponsor.
3. Set up interactive webinars or conferences whenever possible and invite your entire genealogy to enter.
4. When someone needs help ask those across group lines to help. For instance, you have several across all groups with the same language. Have these people all join A2A so that they can connect with each other and thus help with possible language problems.
5. Always consider your downline as one entity even though it may be built up of several different and diverse groups.
6. Set group goals and group activities such as contests and games on your Leadership page.
7. Everything you do must be built on developing true team spirit through cooperation and communication. Therefore, you must promote this however you can. Never criticize anyone or complain. If someone needs some feedback you should always do this individually. Never go over or under any member of your group. If you are contacting a sponsor's downline, be sure and let the sponsor know first and then send them a copy of your message so they are informed.
8. When speaking to individual members of a group, praise and uplift them and their group every way you can. Never criticize a downline member to anyone, write to the member them about your concerns.
9. Send out periodic surveys to your entire group in your weekly newsletters asking them questions that help you to know how your groups are progressing and working as a team.
10. Always accept personal feedback with an open mind and don't get on the offensive and be personally offended when someone suggests something or gives you a less than perfect rating, write them and ask how you can improve. Ask your entire genealogy this question at least once a month so that the entire group knows you are responsive to them.

Building a team requires the spirit of a team leader based on service leadership. Service leadership means you know your team very well, its strength and weaknesses and being there for your indefatigable support. It could mean exercising your patience in dealing with your downline as you implement a plan towards everyone’s success in your team. I have an experience dealing with one of my PSAs, asking me questions through team mail and email almost every day as he goes through SFI materials. Even though almost everything that is needed like tools and resources are provided for us and that we just have to read and digest them, I will have to explain in my own words to help him. By doing this, I have also learned a lot, how I can effectively communicate with my downline. Now I’m very glad that he has achieved EA and he thanked me for the untiring support. I post this quote to my downline to remind them the importance of communication: “Communicate, let everyone feels the importance of working closer together as a team and it is essential in achieving everyone's success. Get involve!”

I also do my best to respond within 24 hours to any of my downline, who sends me a message. I have followed this effective method by looking at my movers VP Ledgers pointing out items that they might have missed or having difficulties in order to help them move up. I have set up a S-Builder Co-op for my team and encouraged them also to implement the sponsoring methods that we have learned through SFI. As a team we maintain close communication by sending them weekly tips and advice about how we can move forward. I view the Genealogy regularly to see the up-to-date situation of my whole team and act accordingly, whatever it takes on my part to help my team move forward. You never know that by asking a simple question like “How may I help you or what I can do for you?” to one of your movers, who is shy or hesitant to communicate might open up and be able to build a close relationship with him. Strong and close relationships are core foundation of a true team spirit in SFI.
