Good communication with our team is vital in SFI, but what if we are not good writers, how do we learn to write well?
That's very important and intelligent question Darla because answer to this question is vital not only for building SFI business but also as a whole in our lives. That is so because if we look historically all great leaders of the world were communicators par excellence. A good communicator achieves his goals quite easily. He conveys his intentions effortlessly.
Now the question with us is how can we develop good writing skills. I will try to explain with my own example.
For first five months I wasn't active in SFI but I continued to read emails from SFI because these emails were very educative and were helping me to understand my previous home based business in a much better way. The communications from my earlier business were not anywhere near to SFI education. I was purchasing training materials from my earlier business which are totally free in SFI. My research here has found a conclusion that most other home based businesses are copying the business model of SFI. I could understand this in a much better way because communications from SFI are very educative and excellent. This wonderful writing skills of SFI Leadership is miles ahead of any comparable businesses. Can you see the clear advantage of good writing skills?
This prompted me to take part in SFI activities more and more and I started writing single letter words in Forum tab. In fact my very first post in Forum was rejected because it didn't carry any value. I took this as a challenge and started writing more and more in Forum posts and also encouraged my downlines and motivated them.
Then I started writing answers to Ask SC questions regularly. One of my answers got 3-10 place and I received 25 Versa Points. This encouraged me tremendously and I started writing more and more answers and few days back I was declared the Top author with most votes. I am really thrilled now and now I am writing more and more answers. Of course I make sure that my grammar as well as spellings are correct.
Darla, you have to make up your mind that you have to learn to write well and if you start it, after few failures you will become a good writer as well as a communicator par excellence. You can do it. All can do it.Take the first step.
