Learning how to write well is similar to learning any other skill: practice, practice, practice. Of course, you have to make sure you are following a good pattern so your practice will be productive. And this is where you need to do some research.
What kind of writing style appeals to you? That will be the first indication of what kind of writer you want to be. If you prefer a more formal approach, then perhaps some academic blogs on the internet will help you see how sentences are formed. If you prefer a more conversational approach, then look for blogs that show that style.
Once you determine your model for writing, study that model and work on producing your own writing in the same style. It really is that simple so don't try to reinvent the wheel or overthink your writing. Along with finding a good model for writing, make sure you proofread everything you write.
Proofreading seems to be a lost art in this day of the Facebook post. I can't tell you how many times I have seen posts that have spelling and grammar errors when I go online, and this is frustrating for those of us who love writing. My personal rule is to never post your first draft of anything you write. Always read through and make sure you are confident of what you are trying to say before making it public.
Overall, view your writing like a masterpiece because great writing really is a work of art.
