To say that you can speak to your Team Members over phone is very easy.
But on a practical note, doing it is not so easy and economical.
As you said communication with our Team is vital in SFI and if we are not good writers it will be difficult to continue here.
Naturally, we should work and develop our writing skills. Even though it can not be done over night, certainly it can be done. Where there is a will, there is a way!
1. Start writing on a daily basis. Write about anything you like. Soon you will find,
You have created a new hobby for yourself. You will love to do it.
2. Allocate certain hours of time to write daily. Stick to the time plan. Complete it
Even if you find it difficult.
3. Do this in an organized manner. Write about anything and everything in one
Place. This way, you will be able to see the progress you make every day.
4. Write about anything you like. Do not worry about the subject. Important
thing is, you should write something regularly.
5. After some time, choose a topic and write. Make a draft. Try correcting it and
take a bream. Start writing again on the same topic after some time with more
ideas. You will find lot of improvement.
6. Don’t worry about grammar. This can be addressed through on line resources.
Once you prepare a draft, correct them for grammars through these resources.
This is another way of improving writing skills.
7. Write about different things, from different perspectives every day. This will
keep you inspiring to write more and more. Do a spell check regularly through,
again on line resources or using the auto correct facility available in your PC.
8. Request your family members or friends to check your writing. This will help
you to find out the mistakes that escaped your eyes.
9. Another important thing is – Always choose a calm and quite place to write. A
good and conducive atmosphere will help you think & write with lot of focus.
10. As you keep writing on different subjects, on a daily basis, you will find lot of
Improvement and progress. You will gain in lot of confidence. As writing
becomes a habit, you can now attempt writing small letters to your Team
members.
Conclusion:
As you keep doing this day after day, week after a week, you can see
good improvement in writing skills.
You will have no fears now. You will be full of confidence. In fact, you will look forward to writing to - not just to your Team Members, but to your friends and family members too.
