There are two main ways to sponsor an affiliate. First, you can recruit someone directly. Now, if your sponsor had recruited you directly, he or she would obviously notice you and provide guidance. The other way is to recruit someone indirectly, whether through a co-op, a traffic exchange, or some other gateway link. The fastest way to get your sponsor's notice is by doing your "Getting Started Actions," including writing your Commitment Letter to your sponsor. By writing your commitment letter, your sponsor knows you intend to be active, and only a fool would fail to follow up with you at that point. You can also click your sponsor's name and go to his or her leadership page and, again, contact him or her directly.
A sponsor who fails to make contact with his or her affiliates is an idiot because it is by training one's affiliates that he or she ensures the affiliates' success within SFI, and in so doing, earns all the commissions and bonuses he or she will make. The only way an active affiliate could have an inactive sponsor is if the sponsor himself or herself somehow fell ill and was not able to carry out his or her role. Do not worry, however: you can still get help from your cosponsor, as well as from ALL your other upline sponsors, by visiting

and contacting them more directly. You also have the friends you make via forums or via the a2a program; you are never alone.
