It might work for some but I would say it would not be the best way to go. If you want to do marketing over the phone your best bet would be family and friends.
Think about it - how many people do you know actually likes telemarketers? Even though they are also trying to make a living like the rest of us, they still irritate the living daylights out of most people.
A practical point - you have to make sure they click on YOUR link - how are you going to do that? Let them write it down?
You can always give it a go and see what happens - but I hope you've got one thick skin because I have a feeling you are going to need it with 8 out of 10 calls.
