1. I feel honored to answered your question here on Ask_SC. Why because the question is intelligent and wonderful. Its worthwhile to answer it to whole SFI Community. Personalized message is like a message to give it to someone on telephone like talking to him/her face to face. The person receiving it is delighted when you address him/her by the first name. Who does not like his/her first name? I think everyone of us like it. When someone addresses us by first name, we feel younger and respected. Respect is all that we need and everyone deserves respect.
2. Just to say hello SFI affiliate is degrading the other person and mixing him/her among general SFI affiliates. I personally would not like to be addressed as SFI affiliate. I would rather like to be addressed as by my first name. Because I like my name. I feel honored and respected to be addressed by my first name.
3. There fore it is most important that you welcome your new PSA or CSA individually one after the other, however time consuming process it may be, But the results you would get would be beyond your expectation. You will certainly be able to create your best impression in your first letter itself.
4. Now onwards, you may revert to PSA Mailer or CSA Mailer where you are not able to address by name. But as you have already done that part; they won’t mind it, For addressing personally by name you can click on the link that says New PSA notification and looks somewhat like this:.https://www.sfimg.com/AffiliateSnapshot?sfiid=xxxxxxx. You will be able to send a message with an image and your photograph inserted on the right hand upper corner.
5. Next method to send a personalized messed is through PM. When you click on PM in the genealogy, a PM box with the photograph of your PSA/CSA will open, where you can send your personalized message.
