If you are not good at approaching people face to face, what are some tips to improve in this area?

When it becomes difficult to approach someone, there is always a root cause, maybe you have faced rejection before and you are afraid of being rejected again or probably suffering from some inferiority complex.
My advise will be that you should first deal with yourself by mixing up with people, read books and listen to tapes that teaches on how to socialize with people and self development, join some social groups and consciously start a conversation with someone or people when necessary.
In my opinion is a weakness that must be dealt with if you want to earn real income in SFI, because occasion may arise in the course of advertising SFI or Triple Clicks that people you don't even know may ask you questions face to face about SFI or Triple Clicks if you are not confident enough to answer them, you may loose a potential PSA(s).
In addition you should always be current with information about SFI, this maybe an added advantage to you to develop self confidence anytime you are asked a question you are able to answer. You will discover that with time this will not be a problem anymore, you will be able approach people face to face. I hope this has help.

To build a successful SFI business, how much should I rely on my sponsor?

In as much as it is good to rely on your sponsor for guidance, i think the best bet is trying to discover things by yourself by discovering things by yourself it will make you to learn faster and even grow your business faster except you are hooked somewhere and there is no way out then you can refer to your sponsor for help. Personally, since i started building my SFI business i hardly rely on my sponsor for help because SFI have provided everything all i need to do is to discover them by reading and studying everything.

The most effective ways to communicate with your team are;

Is there such a thing as helping your affiliates TOO much?

I don't think there is anything like helping your affiliates too much. You must continue to give your affiliates any help they require at anytime, until they are stabilize. This will go a long way in helping you build a strong team of Affiliates.
Your focus should not be counting the help you give your affiliates but your focus should be, being available and responding promptly at anytime your affiliates needs your assistance.
What's the biggest turn-off that I should avoid talking about to prospects for SFI?

When my sponsor introduce me to SFI, he said "there is an online program i want you to join, you can join free without any financial commitment" that alone aroused my interest in SFI. So I registered and became interested in the the program, maybe if he did not present the program like that to me i would have been turn-off.
So when Introducing the program to a prospective member, if this same strategy is used i think it will not turn the person off.
Why should I invest in SFI?

The Affiliates that are interested in doing the Daily To-Do list are already motivated on their own in growing their SFI business. It now becomes very easy to motivate them to do other activities. All that is needed to do is, to gradually introduce them and encourage them to the other activities. Maybe there are not doing other activities because they don't know how to start.I think with proper support and guidance they will start responding. These ones are far better than those that sign up and never log in again.

When starting out in SFI, is it better to invest in advertising or in an EA-qualifying purchase?

Investing in advertisement and qualifying as an EA in SFI in my opinion is like twin brothers, you can not do without the other if you are to be successful in SFI. I will advise that, to the best of your ability you go for the two. You should use every available tools in SFI and resources at your disposal to advertise your SFI business and also attain EA status so that you reap the benefits in SFI.
What would be a better goal and why? Sponsor hundreds of new PSAs every year or teach a smaller number of EAs to each develop EAs themselves?

My answer to your question will be that you keep on sponsoring hundreds of PSAs every year and also keep teaching your EAs to duplicate themselves.
My reason is that if you only concentrate on sponsoring PSAs or teaching EAs to duplicate themselves you have succeeded in putting a limit to the income you would have made in SFI. The more PSAs in your down-line that are active the more benefits you will get in SFI and also the more EAs you teach to duplicate themselves the more benefit you will get. So you can see that both are important.
There should be no limit to your income in SFI, aim high and dream big.

Which is better to pursue...CSAs or PSAs?

In my own opinion, there is nothing wrong in pursuing both.
If you have active CSAs and active PSAs in your down line you will earn matching VPs from them if there are EA2, and also earn commission from them if they buy products from TripleClicks though CSAs will give 15% while PSAs will give you 45%.
However, in order of priority, i will give more time in pursuing PSAs than CSAs, because in the cause of losing your EA status because of inability of accumulating up to 1500VPs for the month, your PSAs will remain while you loose all your CSAs.
