For building my business, what is the most valuable thing to spend my TCredits on?

Hello Tanja,
I used to use my tcredits all crazy trying to win auction items that would help grow my business, such as tcredits, CSAs, PSAs and SBuilder. I have been successful in winning some auctions, but have lost a lot of tcredits in losing many auctions.
I am more savvy and experienced in using my tcredits now that I have been involved with SFI for over a year now. I wait and bide my time for auctions when it is an item that I am interested in bidding on (such as any from the list above), but only those auctions that offer double MRP points per bid.
I do this because I have also realized the value of MRPs. I saved my MRPs up for a couple of months to get an item that I really wanted. It cost me just under 24,000 MRP, but in the month of July it really paid off for me. It was a hit traffic package of 2500 worldwide hits, plus 10% added on. So in total I received 2750 hits to my gateway. From this I received probably 250 affiliate sign ups. Now mind you, not all do anything, but from this I received a GTL and an EA, plus lots of other affiliates who were close to reaching EA.
So, my whole hearted advice to you is to wait for an item you really may want to bid on, but make sure it offers double MRP. Hopefully you will be not only the successful winner of the auction, but will also be rolling in some great MRP points as well.
Hope this is a helpful answer for you!

If you were to start over with SFI, what would you do differently, knowing what you do now about this business?

Hi Ritu,
I would have gotten a gmail address right away as my Hotmail would not accept SFI mail right away, so I lost my streak because of this.
I would have started my ECA store right away instead of waiting for months later.
I would have became fast track right away, but wasn't able to due to not receiving my links in the Hotmail....that has changed though, due to the revisions they made recently to being able to become a fast track member even if you were already an existing affiliate.
I also would have distributed my gift cards differently after learning more about all of the options at tripleclicks that people could have used them for.
I also would have started getting PSAs to Go a lot sooner.

This is a great question, that I believe many affiliates ask themselves in the beginning.
I just want to say first of all, that SFI is a free to join business opportunity, with no obligation to spend money.
Secondly, when anyone starts any type of business, there are usually costs associated with doing so. It is like the old saying goes, "You've got to spend money to make money!"
I heard a comment on here once that made total sense to me, and I will share it with you: Look at your monthly purchase at SFI, as paying rent. If you had an actual business in a building, a mall, or other, you would be paying way more then just say, the cost of a pack of 125 tcredits per month, to maintain your business.
I thought this a very useful comment, and it really put my thoughts on my SFI business into perspective.
Thank you for the great question and have a successful day!

How do you motivate your downline to spend money monthly to maintain EA status without sounding greedy?

Hi, This is a great question!
I am fortunate because I am able to afford a standing order each month to be able to maintain a minimum EA2 rank.
Some affiliates are not so fortunate. In these instances, explain to them that there are a multitude of products on tripleclicks to choose from. Explain to them that there are products on here that people would probably buy each month from a grocery/retail store for use in their home anyway. So if they browse through tripleclicks to find such products and use a budget to purchase these online instead of from the grocery/retail store....they will acquire VP for these purchases.
If they are able to find enough of these type of products to acquire the 1500VP needed to achieve EA, there you have it.....and the bonus is they haven't spent any out of pocket money over and above what their monthly budget allows them, so they are not going in debt. Make sure to tell them to search for products that offer free shipping, so that this will not be an extra charge as well.
This is called transfer buying.

What do you say to an affiliate who thinks that doing the daily 1 VP actions is a waste of time?

Hi, this is a great question!
Each action separately is only 1VP, but together each day they add up to 14VP, potentially.
You add that up over a month and you earn 420-434 VP depending on the days of the month.
Now for a serious affiliate, I cannot imagine that they would say this is a waste of time, especially if they have read and studied all of our launch pad lessons. Affiliates need to realize that this is a business, which we each need to work at every day. The amount of time daily to do these tasks is maybe a half hour per day, if you are just doing the minimum. If you don't show up to work at a real job, you don't get paid. If you don't try to reach the levels necessary here to be able to earn income, then really what is the point? Part of reaching the necessary income earning potential here at SFI requires you to reach 1500VP to be at the minimum level each month. So if an affiliate isn't willing to do the daily tasks to earn the free VP, I guess they are not serious about this business.

How do I get my affiliates to understand the amazing opportunity offered by SFI?

This is a difficult task to accomplish because what you or I believe is amazing, others may not think the same way.
The best thing I would say to do, is share with the affiliates your personal successes with this great business, such as auction wins, daily grand wins, E365 accomplishments, any awesome products you may have purchased and want to share, the fun you have playing games, the amount of cool products that are for sale at tripleclicks if you take the time to search through, and maybe even possibly in what areas you may be having earning successes (through your own ECA store, or by having an active team).
If some of this doesn't spark an interest in an affiliate, then I am at a loss.
For some of us we easily see the potential here

Is it better to promote SFI to friends and family...or to strangers?

Hi,
I thought this was a great question.
In general it is usually easiest to talk with family and friends, until it comes to something like a potential business opportunity. Even though we ourselves may see the potential and are excited about it, it doesn't mean our family and friends will be on the same page. What has gotten my family and friends to check things out is I tell them SFI is accredited through the Better Business Bureau, so it is a very legitimate business. I also tell them the site is secure and if they choose to participate in anything on this site, they can use paypal, which seems to put them at ease as well.
Sometimes when we are dealing with strangers it is more difficult to talk with them because we do not know what interests they have, as they are strangers, so it may be hard to know what on the site would spark their interest.
One thing I found that has generated some traffic on my site is I posted a blurb on Facebook offering a Tripleclicks gift card to anyone who was interested. I even offered to personally mail them away if the person interested was not within my delivery area.
I found this useful because then people who were interested came forward to me and I did not have to seek people out myself. This is awesome because I know people on my Facebook have friends on their Facebook that I do not have, so if the interest gets out there, it should generate more traffic on SFI/Tripleclicks.
Hope this helps out!
Have a successful day!

How do you motivate lazy and unmotivated affiliates?
Erica Sisco-Dube, Aff (Nova scotia, CA)

Unfortunately if people are unmotivated and lazy it is just the way they are.
These type of people are looking for an easy way to earn money and their work ethic and drive is probably very minimal to non existent. There is not much we can do with these type of people.
However, if your affiliates are new to SFI and have just begun the journey here, it may be that they are not lazy or not motivated, it may be that they are just overwhelmed by the information available to us here. In that case, you offer support and help to them as need be, as their team leader.
Some people also sign up at SFI, do some tasks, accumulated a few points and then just decide that for whatever reason this isn't the thing for them. So you may have inactive affiliates because of this reason, and usually if they have decided it is not for them, they will not be interested at this time. But it is not saying that somewhere in the future they may have a change of heart and become active. I have read many stories of this happening with some of our most successful affiliates.
Just keep on sending your genealogy team mails to your downline...you never know when someone will spark up again.

What is the best way to teach my downline how to build their downline?

There is no proven method to grow your downline, unless you want to purchase PSAs from any number of ECAs here at tripleclicks, or win them in auctions. Even by doing this, there is still no guarantee that these PSAs will become active members when you receive them.
You can give your team members suggestions on how to go about recruiting people in the same manner as yourself, but what works for you may not work for them. Depending on their confidence level in recruiting face to face, or their skills in online advertising if recruiting in this way.
I would definitely say that if you have a great way that has lead to some good recruiting for you, share this idea with your downline. You can always ask your immediate sponsor, co-sponsor and other upline members for suggestions on how they have been able to grow their downlines successfully.

What are the best ways to show your appreciation for the efforts of your most active affiliates?

Hello, your question is a good one.
A lot of affiliates think that our PSAs should not be "spoon fed".
I have taken this into consideration in my time here with SFI and I have come up with this plan:
1) When I have a new affiliate, I will reassign 5 PSAs to their team when they reach their first 1500VP....I try to give the affiliate PSAs from their own country.
2) When above mentioned affiliate then reaches their first team leader position, I will then buy 10 PSAs for that affiliate.
I have found that by doing this more so then giving tcredits or gift certificates it helps to grow their team, which is what we all strive for here at SFI. It also gives new affiliates some incentive to come to work each day, because they now have a small team to be responsible for. I found that by doing this, I have so far retained more PSAs myself who now come to work every day and who also work very hard to maintain EA/team leader status each month.
Thanks for this question....I hope my answer has helped!
