How can you offer financial support to a hard-working PSA/CSA who is truly financially challenged?

If you wanna offer financial support, i think the best way is through gift certificate. But you will have to make sure that you can afford that. You will also have to keep in mind that if you will start to give away gift certificate easily to someone then, that person, will aspect more from you.
Personally, i would go for a different approach :
i would set some easy goals and reward them with T Credits (let`s say for every 10 days that they get at least 10 VP you give them 5 credits, or something like that). You can also put them in your Co-Op , but that`s risky, because one needs to be able to support himself first, and only then should think about supporting others.
You will also have to remember that SFI is a business, so you`ll have to consider that giving away to many free stuff might end up turning back on you , it will become a bad investment. I am more then willing to support my down line for their first 2 months, but in the end, they will have to understand that without a minimum investment you can`t succeed in any business. I think everyone who has a computer and internet access can afford to invest at least 20 $ a month, if they want their business to grow.

How can I convince my downline of the benefits of having a Standing Order without them feeling pressured?

You don`t have to convince them.
If they are here to stay, sooner or later they will realize that having a Standing Order helps them growing their business.
If you have a Standing Order it helps, but it`s not a must.
For instance, my sponsor has no SO, but i issued one on my second month.
We all have different approach for working our own business, there is no such thing as a "great plan of success". Maybe some people just don`t like to pay every month, they prefer to buy when they need.
Everyone who wants their business to work should make a minimum investment, the problem is that most of us are afraid not to lose the money. It takes time to earn trust , we need time to convince our self that the project we joined is genuine .
So i think the challenge here is not to push our down line into getting an SO , but to manage to keep them on the project until they realized all the benefits of an SO.

Should we recruit our family members into SFI? Good idea or not?

I don`t see why not.
You should recruit EVERYBODY into SFI.
It`s normal to start with the people that are close to you (family, friends, co-workers), but you will have to be careful, some of them might be very negative about it, you`ll have to manage not to let them destroy the confidence you have in your business. It`s easier when we are trying to recruit a stranger, we don`t really care if they say no, if they are trying to trash our confidence, lower our morale. When it comes to family and close friends , it`s a bit harder, because we want their approval, we want them to believe in everything that we are doing, and their refusal might hurt us.
So, bottom line, make sure that if you wanna ask your family to join, you are ready to accept everything (including a bad refusal).

What's the difference between being an SFI affiliate and having a traditional business, and which is better?
Dan Cristescu, Aff (Cyprus)

In my opinion the biggest difference is that SFI is free and everyone can do it. The only thing that you need to start a SFI business is an internet connection. The rest is up to you (if you invest your time and money in it, it will grow ,if not , you don`t have anything to lose).
About the "better" part, i must say that i don`t think you can compare them :
i truly believe that the future of all businesses is online (if you have a "traditional" business you will need to promote it and sell your products online in order to succeed ), so that means that all businesses will need an online platform (like SFI`s TripleClicks).
Then if you already have a traditional business you have one more good reason to join SFI, if you don`t have a business, then SFI is the better option for you because it costs less and you have a bigger market.
I hope this answered your question.

How do you develop trust with your affiliates and get them to follow your leadership?
Dan Cristescu, Aff (Cyprus)

I believe that the best way to develop trust is to "lead by example", do yourself what you want your affiliates to do. You cant ask them to do something if you are not willing to do it yourself.
Second, you must constantly keep in touch with them , let them know you are here to support them.
I joined SFI a little over 1 month ago, so my experience is not that big, but i managed to achieve some pretty good things (1st in my class, 1st in my country , Pricebenders Winner and more) so all my PSAs and CSAs can see that you can do this. The big problem for me is that most off my downline is inactive (out of about 300 PSA and CSA i have like 5 of them active), but i`m doing my best to answer any questions they might have and support them as much as i can.

Why do some affiliates find success with SFI in just weeks, while for others it takes months or years?

Hi there,
Well, in my opinion the main reason for what some affiliates do better then others is that they are ready to invest in their business , they are ready to risk a bit, in order to succeed. If you wanna find success fast there is only one solution for you : invest and commit. And i don`t mean invest just the money , i also mean invest your time. This is the main problem, and that main resource that you can use in SFI.. your time. Everyone can afford to invest 50 $ or so a month to own their own business , but as you grow bigger , you also need to invest more and more of your time ...and here is the catch : most of us have so little time, that we are not willing to invest it in anything.
Also , a lot of people are excited about SFI in the beginning , but as soon as they realize that they need to invest time and money in it in order to succeed, they just quit .
Hope this helps !!

How do you handle being rejected over and over again when presenting the SFI opportunity to others?
Dan Cristescu, Aff (Cyprus)

Well, it`s actually a matter of character, of how you deal with rejection in life. Some people just quit after the first No they hear, other just keep going.
I will tell a story i`ve heard from a International Training Director of a big Networking Company (i won`t use names cause i`m not sure i`m aloud).
So it`s like this : when you prospect for your new members , imagine that you are drawing cards from a deck .. of course you wanna draw only aces, but there are 52 cards in a deck and only 4 aces. So when you draw, of course you wanna draw an ace, especially in the beginning , but that will probably not gonna happen. So what you do when you draw another card , you quit?, or you just keep drawing... well that is up to you , but you never now, the next card might just be the ace that you wanted.
Ok .. lets just say to you managed to push yourself to draw all the 52 cards , but you got no ace ... what do you do? Well it`s easy for me ... just get another damn deck and keep drawing ... YOU WILL EVENTUALLY DRAW YOUR ACE ... you just have to keep going for it , don`t give up ...
Probably this did not answer your question as you would aspect .. but this is the way i see it .. it does not matter how many people say no to you, it only matters how many say yes.

How do I get my downline to focus on duplication? How do I explain the importance of duplication to them?

Hi there ,
If you have the answer to this question then you will be very successful in SFI.
The most important thing is, of course, to lead by example : don`t aspect anyone in your down line to do something that you are not doing (they might do it, but it`s improbable to happen), so if you want them to do something, make sure you are doing it.
Another thing that you must consider is that most of the people just don`t get it, they don`t understand how this works and they are not willing to invest money in something they don`t understand.
If you want to be successful in any business , you have to invest a bit. I think when you get them to understand this ... then you will see they will start to duplicate your actions.
I hope this helps!!

How do you set proper goals for yourself in SFI?

Hmm , i don`t really think that there is such thing as a "proper goal" ,i mean it`s a matter of personal believes. Some people just go straight for the top ( i wanna be number one in this right now ...so i won`t accept anything less then no 1 in everything ), that is known as dreaming big , some other people just go step by step but the end goal is the same ( hmm this month i wanna go up 100 positions in the VP ledger, next month i wanna get 300m PSA , etc) and some other people just set lower goals just so they can see them accomplished fast.
All of them are proper goals because each of us choose the ones that fit for us. Of course each of us wants to be number one in everything ... we just choose different steps to go there .

Of all of SFI's Power Tools, which ones works best for you and why?

Well i`m quite new to SFI , just started a few days ago .. so until now the only Power Tools that i`m using are Genealogy and CSA Mail.
They are both very good.
With Genealogy you can keep an eye on the progress of your PSA and CSA and see exactly how they are doing.
And with CSA Mail you can easily keep in touch with your team. (this works for PSA Mail as well). And besides for the two mailers you also get 30 VP/week if you use them just once per week.
From what i have read the S-builder co-op seems like an awesome tool but for now i did not got the chance to try it .
