How much information do you send your CSA's, or do you let their sponsor take care of them so they are not overwhelmed?

In my book, there is absolutely no differentiation between PSAs and CSAs.They are Affiliates entrusted to my care and guidance. In many cases, I have noticed, Affiliates do not get adequate attention /guidance from their own sponsors, may be for various reasons. No matter, that does not concern me ; the CSAs are my "children" too and there is no way I am going to treat them as "adopted children".

This is an issue which concerns many of us new in SFI and it needs to be addressed in a practical manner. I have faced this situation soon after signing up for SFI. It did not bother me at first, but when I needed some guidance, my sponsor was unresponsive. Now the problem was a bit delicate because the sponsor was well known to me in my professional career.When I confronted him with the problem, he excused himself saying that he was not very active on SFI.

How do you get your affiliates to approach their SFI business realistically, like a real business, and not some get unrealistic rich quick scheme?

Firstly, we have to bear in mind that many Affiliates sign up for SFI assuming that it is a "get-rich-quick" scheme and once he/she signs up and does the minimum necessary, the moola will start rolling in !

* We have to take some pains to disabuse the Affiliates of this impression.

How do you explain to prospects what SFI is about in a simple way?

I have tried to do this myself. It is not easy. Firstly, what counts is whether the person concerned is close to you, basically receptive and how much real interest he / she evinces in SFI. On the other hand, that person is not so close to you, is skeptical, and suspects that you may be trying to "sell a lemon" !

Why is it important to have a good SFI account photo? And what makes a good photo?

It is very important to have a good account photo in SFI. It is the same as my having a good , clear and open-faced photo on my social security card, driving licence or passport. What makes a good photo is one showing my face clearly, without dark glasses, hair combed back , not hiding any part of my face, showing the ears and easily identifiable. Hi Keith,

I have had this experience ever since I became a EA2 in December last year ( in the second month after I joined). I am currently having the same problem. Frankly the issue is a bit complicated:

*In SFI, Affiliates are mass-enrolled. A click on the "Growth" tab will show you what I mean.

*This is like "shooting in the dark" but that's how the system works.

*When you do well month after month, you get CSAs awarded to you.

I have often wondered about this issue ; we would all like to be "super-stars" on SFI, wouldn't we ? So how do we achieve it ? To my mind, a 'super-star" would...

In SFI, we have levels like BTL, STL, GTL,and PTL. But believe me, even if you are not one of these, so long as you have PSAs and CSAs allotted to you i.e you have an active downline and you are expected to inform, motivate and guide them to perform certain desired objectives, you are a "Team Leader".

Hi Keith,

Well, it depends upon what is your idea of a "tight budget".

Since SFI is a business ( and not a hobby), it does need a minimum budget of $30 a month, according to my experience. This is a modest budget by any standards, I suppose. But the bright aspect is, SFI provides several avenues to maximise the return on this investment. For example, you can earn TCs and MRPs, participate in the PriceBender Auctions, get PSAs and CSAs awarded to you, earn commissions
