How do you manage a large, active downline? How do you provide personalized attention for everyone?

You manage a large downline in much the same way as you do a small downline.
You answer their questions as soon as you possibly can.
A lot of the details you will be sending to all affiliates. If you want to provide total personalized attention by sending them emails on a regular basis then you have to make the time.
If you have a large active downline this will probably be your only source of income, so you will be able to devote the necessary time to each of your affiliates.

I have set up an auto responder. How can I determine if my auto responder is working?

Hello Vickie,
I can only assume you are new to autoresponder marketing and we all have to learn somehow or somewhere. I always test my autoresponder after setting up a new account. I have a gmail address that I use solely for that purpose.
I go to the link for my splash page and sign up as any other potential customer would. This way I am not using an internal checking system that would ignore the time setting for sending the emails out.
I check the initial email(s) depending on whether you have double opt in or not. If it is not set to double optin you will get your first email straight away if that is how you have set your autoresponder to respond. If you do have double opt in then you will get the confirmation email straight away and then your 1st email at the prescribed time. You should then get your emails at the times you have set up in the sending(1 day or whatever setting in days you have used).
You may not like having to wait for the other emails but this is by far the best way to test your autoresponder.
I hope this helps you and wish you every success in your business.

Is it better to promote SFI to friends and family...or to strangers?

Personally I will never promote anything to friends and family until after I have proven it works. You may say that is a bit unfair on friends and family because they could have been in sooner and helped you. I say if I can make it work without friends and family then so can they.
If you are not careful your friends can soon become a lot less friendly and you can end up an outcast in your family because of poor information you have given them, but if they have seen you strive to make a successful business they know the possibility of a good business is there and it is only themselves that can be to blame if it doesn't work.
Friends and family can be a great asset, but if they are not willing to put in the work and your success or failure depends on them then the whole relationship can change overnight.
Once you are up and running successfully, then you will not be reliant on friends and family but you will have the experience to help them and maybe accelerate their working in the business. So they are really going to be better off running with your experience to help them.
To my mind that is far better than relying on them to help you get the business going.
These are my thoughts and the way I work. I know of others with the opposing view.

How can I increase my earnings with SFI?
Derek Barrington, Aff (United Kingdom)

To help you to determine how you can increase your earnings I or anyone else advising you would need to know:
1. What you are currently doing to earn
2. Your financial circumstances. (i.e. Does everything have to be free or are you willing to invest some finances into your new or established business).
There are many possible income streams within SFI some of which are free and others that will need a financial input.
The same applies to your advertising. There are many free advertising options and there are also many paid advertising options.
As this is a business the best way to proceed is with a financial injection into your business. This could be buying some advertising or buying TCredits or other products that will help you to advance.
The free options include getting affiliates for SFI by using free advertising, getting members for TripleClicks again by free advertising, selling second hand products on your TConnect page or setting up as an ECA and selling new products.
By getting your affiliates to buy products you will get a commission on their purchases.

What are the best ways to show your appreciation for the efforts of your most active affiliates?
Derek Barrington, Aff (United Kingdom)

If you appreciate all the work your affiliates are doing then the best way to keep them working is with rewards for their efforts.
You can give them VP, gift cards and also put them in your CO-op and feed them with new leads.
If you are advertising successfully then they could be getting some good leads through you. If the affiliates you are rewarding do happen to become inactive then they will pass back to you in time.
If you already have your five future PTLs identified (per THE PLAN), should you keep developing more first-level stars?

The whole thing about SFI is duplication. Why would you want to stop when you have your five future PTLs identified? What would happen if one of those five were to drop out for any reason?
Also why would you want to restrict your income by only having 5 PTLs. The plan is in place for you to work to as a base unit. If you can get more PTLs then you will gain more income.
You will also have people in your downline that you can transfer to your potential PTLs if they run into trouble.
While each of your future PTLs is working you should be looking to help them do the same.(i.e get five PTLs.)

What are the best ways to get AVP (Action VersaPoints)?

Hello Noble.
As you know you will need action points to get beyond EA status in SFI.
There are several ways to get these although not all the ways are free.
The most obvious is to complete your to-do list every day. Remember to go to your tconnect page once a week to update it if necessary. Carry out your monthly actions at the beginning of each month. OK it is only 15 VersaPoints but it is better than none.
Send emails to your affiliates through the mailer for 30 points every week.
Buying products in Tripleclicks doesn't get you points, but you get points when you rate/review your purchase.
If you take part in the auctions you get 1 point for each click in the auction.
I hope these ideas help you. I wish you every success in your SFI endeavors

Which of SFI's own banners are best for attracting new PSAs?

Each banner is good. They should be used when you know the demographics of your prospects.
You can then pick out the most appropriate banner for that demographic.
You have banners of varying sizes for all aspects of SFI and TripleClicks.
Perhaps in your advertising you should be putting out several different banners to the same people, but the idea is to get them signed up when they see something they are interested in.
What is the best way to maintain my SFI position and continue to support my team whilst on vacation with limited, if any, internet availability?

I have had 3 short vacations since joining SFI. The first thing I do is contact the hotels/motels or guest houses I will be staying at to check if they have an internet connection I can use. If the answer is no then I ask if there are any internet cafes within the vicinity.
So far all the places I have stayed at have had internet access available to their customers, and so I have not had to make any alternative arrangements.
I suppose the length of the vacation will also play a part in whether you want to risk having internet access, especially if there is likely to be a lot of travelling involved.
If you are uncertain of the internet access that will be available to you then you can put yourself on vacation. By doing this you preserve all your badges. Two things to remember when you are doing this is you will lose 1 day from your daily VersaPoints streak for every day you are registered as being on vacation, and you will not be getting your daily VersaPoints.
I email all my affiliates when I am going to be away and let them know I may not be available between the dates of my vacation.
I do try to find away to log in at least once a day just to check if any of my downline have contacted me and also to check if I have any new PSA or CSA. If I have then I make sure I email them and send them a welcome e-card.

Is it good for affiliates to have their own ECA store at TripleClicks?

If an affiliate has goods to sell and the ability to run a store as well then it is all extra income for that affiliate and also their sponsor.
All members will be able to get commission by promoting the ECA and the more scope of products we have available the greater the chance of pulling a few browsers in.
These browsers could end up buying products and so helping out everyone in the chain.
