Should I buy PSAs or learn how to sponsor them myself?

Could you do both? The advantages of both methods would be combined to your benefit.
Buying PSA - it might be cheaper than sponsoring, especially if you win and buy them on Pricebenders Auctions. And you will definitely save some time.
Sponsoring on your own: - if you are not using paid adverts, but free ads and face-to-face recruiting, it's free. I also think the quality of PSAs is better, because YOU can write the ad in a way that clearly explains what we do here and that this is not a 'get rich quick' thing! Also, if your PSA knows you personally, chances are they trust you and know you wouldn't be involved in something that's a waste of time and money. So, they will sigh up and give it an honest try.
People here believe that quality is hidden in quantity. I personally stand for quality, and that's I think you should learn sponsoring. But if it's not your thing, SFI luckily allows you to buy affiliates and imply your skills in other areas of this business(referring PRMs, maybe?)
Good luck in building your team, one way or another!

What are the best methods for distributing TCards to the public and getting results?

Hello!
I guess what you are asking is how to you find people who will redeem TC Gift Cards, fall in love with Tripleclicks and become your customer for life.
I wish I knew. :)
All we can do is distribute them using methods explained by the SFI or have a creative idea of our own. I would target people who already buy online, those who are interesting in becoming an ECA (so might use the TCredits to upload products)or the curious ones who have asked you about it before.
Oh, and another important thing - track the cards you give away - both for VP points you get, and so that you can see whether your strategy was successful.
Good luck!

What is the best way to present the idea of TripleClicks TCredits to someone who has never heard of them?

It depends a bit on who you are explaining it to.
For PRMs (Personally Referred Members) - tell them the credits a kind of a TripleClicks currency. When they explore the website, they will see TCredits are used for buying products and services just like real money. They will notice that every product has a price in TCredits. They will also see that they need TCredits to bid on Pricebenders auctions, downloading music, and if they decide to sell things they no longer need through member listings.
Prospective PSAs - tell them the credits a kind of a TripleClicks currency, too. :) They will quickly learn what they are once they become members and explore Affiliate Center (especially Launchpad and Glossary. My experience tells me that I shouldn't talk about MRPS, VPs and TCs before somebody signs up, because it's very easy to understand as soon as you join.
Good luck in leading people to SFI know-how, one step at the time!

I need a mentor. What's the best way to find a mentor for SFI?

The Chinese say: 'When the student is ready, the teacher will appear'
You seem to be ready, so where's the mentor? I guess you are asking this question because your Sponsor is not very sponsor-like and doesn't help you (as much as you need).
Are you a worker? If you are, your sponsor or upline WILL notice you and contact you to help you grow your business.
Until then, you can learn from SFI Affiliate pages and Training, your upline, SFI Forum, A2A friends...
And if you want to find a mentor among SFI members (either in your upline, A2A, or by looking at what advice they give in Ask SC and Forum), you need to have a look at President Gary's Rules of Success.
Good mentors will lead by example (Rule 3) - do what they do. They might not tell you what to do - some think it's too pushy, others want you to develop into an entrepreneur. But you can look at the badges, read their posts and do what they do.
STAY a good worker. Because Rule 4 tells TeamLeaders to work with the workers.
But they will help. Because they know (Rule 6) that the only way they can win is if you and other members of their team succeed.
Good luck with finding a mentor to follow, or, even better, in learning and becoming a mentor to follow.

What encouragement can I give to an affiliate who feels he or she is getting nowhere with SFI?

Hello, Sabastine!
Let's see why the affiliate feels they are not getting anywhere with SFI.
Is it that they are not happy with the paycheck? In the beginning nobody is. The reason we are unhappy is that we unrealistically hoped (despite what SFI says all the time)that we will earn money just by clicking. Then we realise - money is earned through work, so our job is to advertise and refer. When the affiliate realises that and starts working, the money will come.
But although we are all here for the money we can make, it's not about money itself. Our WHY, our reason we are here, things we can make happen, dreams we can make come true are what keeps us here. I think you should target that when you want to encourage and motivate your affiliate who feels down. If you help them believe they can achieve that dream, that they are already on the right path, they will find strength to move on. You can focus later on what needs to be done and how, but WHY is the most important.
Point them out what they are doing great - praise them and tell them to keep up the good work.
Ask them for ideas. Suggest some of your own, time-tested tips.
Show them that they are important and on the right path by investing in them. Something small such as a couple of TCredits or Wave 3 will do the trick.
Don't let them feel isolated. Make them believe we are in this together. Tell them about A2A and Forum if they haven't discovered it yet.
And finally, although SFI shares inspiring quotes daily, you could share some, too. Think of a motivational quote that touched you. Or something someone (parents, teachers, family, friends, colleagues) said to encourage you in the past.
Good luck!

Hello!
Ask them if they want to meet some. SFI A2A is a great tool for learning about the program in a friendly way.
Tell them it doesn't matter, as most of their PSAs and CSAs won't come from their 'warm market'. Friends and family may not think them 'business oriented' so they might not jump on the bandwagon, but other people who you might only know online will! The world is such a big place, everybody can find people for their team. Online marketing is the key!
Good luck!

Hello!
SFI keeps suggesting that the goal is to find 5 PSA who will think like you, teach them about duplication, and let the ball roll.
Do you know people who are similar to you - share your thinking, values, motivation? They say that Birds of a feather flock together, which means you probably already have people like that around you. You can start by sponsoring them.
And if that doesn't work, we need to make sure our ads attract people like us, who will understand it takes time to build business, who will be hardworking and patient. Try to imagine not being an SFI affiliate and seeing your ad. Would you join? :)
Good luck!

How do you deal with PSAs who you offer unconditional support but still rate you poorly?

Hello!
I have only one CSA who rates me poorly. I've always believed in direct approach, so I made sure I was doing everything a good sponsor should do, and then contacted him with a direct question:
I need to improve my sponsor rating. Do you have any suggestions for me? How can I be a better sponsor?
He never replied, so I even joked about him not liking me, and said it's ok, but still no reply.
So, I gave up. I am focusing on my work and being the greatest sponsor I possibly can. I am trying to help and please the members of my team who are interested in being in the team. I think that's all anybody can do.
Good luck!

How do you explain the importance of MRP (Member Reward Points) to your PSAs?

Hello!
Honestly, I don;t think MRPs are that important in the beginning. It is true that you can buy things on Tripleclicks with them, Tcredits included (+VP points that go with that purchase), but you need hundreds and they are not easily attained in the beginning.
If you are not asked, new PSAs will probably get it from the Launchpad and Tripleclicks, where it is explained very clearly.
If asked, I would say it is a type of a virtual currency on Tripleclicks - something like "thanks for your business, please come again". :D
All the best!

What is the most valuable thing you learned in your first year in SFI?

Hello!
I learned that the harder you work, the luckier you get. I know it's a quote, but it came true for me here in SFI.
And it's the most valuable thing because it can be applied to the world and life outside SFI. Also, I learned I had a potential for business, and I never thought I did. SFI has taught me a lot about myself, business and how the world and people work. And it's huge!
Good luck!
