Too many affiliates are unwilling to put forth some effort in lieu of capital. If you don't have money to invest then fine. Let your affiliates know that their is no purchase requirement but there is a work requirement! You just can't haphazardly do internet marketing and get good results. It takes work. It takes logging in regularly. Not once a week, or once a month. But really it takes everyday you can get to build momentum with your promotional efforts. So, just 1 day every once in a blue moon is just not going to cut it. As the team leader you should set the expectation high enough to demand consistent, persistent ACTION!
After setting the expectation, you should let your affiliates know that internet marketing is a numbers game. The more promotion you do the better results you will get. All promotional efforts should be tracked carefully for performance over time. When it comes to free advertising, we are talking 30 to 90 days of consistent advertising. I've have recruited 20 to 30 affiliates per month using free advertising. But, I send thousands upon thousands of ads. It's the nature of the business - you must persist.
Finally, sponsors should emphasize a singular focus on the task at hand. There is no way you can effective promote 1001 different things. We are apart of the best internet business in the WORLD - settle it in your mind, heart, and soul. Such focus is needed because in your promotional efforts you will inevitably run across flashy sites, empty promises of quick riches, the next best thing since chocolate cake, and all the rest. Nothing more that marketers pitching to marketers in a effort to redirect your focus! Settle it in your mind - SFI is going to work for me. If you use safe lists, your mindset needs to be that I need to earn promotional credits in order to promote using the list. If you promote effectively, safe lists work. That's why everyday I receive over 1000 pieces of email! All effective marketers know that you must first build a list before you can really make money online. Consequentially, you must recruit PSAs, ECAs, and PRMs. If you are not going to use the safe lists, then how do you propose to promote?
Email marketing is the no.1 form of promotion because it is still FREE! Safe list exist to deal with the issue of spam. All marketers on the list agree to recieve offers in order to promote to the list. So sponsors should advice their affiliates that if they use safe lists, they will get useless offers but if you use credit based safe lists then you can start to build your own list to build your SFI business. This is the purpose for joining safelists. However, focus is need to achieve the objective of recruiting affiliates and referring TripleClicks members. If you as the sponsor use safelists, make your copy available to your affiliates and tell them to adapt it for their personal use. The same applies with any other form of advertising.
