The SFI Affiliate Program is all about marketing, dealing with other affiliate members, customers or clients. In order to become successful in SFI you must possess the following list of personal qualities or characteristics and skills that are very much relevant of being successful in SFI:

How’s your ethical plane? How do you relate to your affiliates or a2a friends? Your SFI business and if you’re a Team Leader your downlines are a reflection of yourself. If you’re honest your team will follow suit.

- Communication

How’s your communication skill? Are communicating effectively to your downlines or a2a friends? Training new members and creating a productive work environment within your team all depend on healthy lines of communication. As a Team Leader can you relate your vision to your team, so that all will be working towards the same goal such as applying Duplication in team building?

- Delegating

It’s important to remember that trusting your team with your idea is a sign of strength, not weakness. Delegating tasks to appropriate members of your team is one of the most important skills you can develop as your SFI business grows. Identify the strengths of your team, and capitalize on them.

- Persistence and Resilience

Morale is linked to productivity. If you’re confronted with inactive affiliates, slow Internet connection or negative influence of friends, work colleagues or relatives as a Team Leader instill a positive energy within your team. Consider all this as challenge/obstacle before success comes, your persistence and resiliency will pay off in the long run. Refuse to give up.

- Confidence

There may be situation where things aren’t going according to your plan. As a Team Leader your confidence level is very much needed within your team. If you remember the cyber attack, this was an opportunity to keep up your confidence level, and assure everyone that setbacks are natural and the important thing is to focus on the larger goal. By staying calm and confident, you will help to keep the team feeling the same.

- Committed and Passionate

If you expect your team to work hard and follow you, you’re going to need to lead by example. By proving your commitment to your role, you will not only earn the respect of your team, but will also instill that same hardworking energy among your affiliates. Show your passion and commitment by logging in daily, communicating consistently with your affiliates and a2a friends and participating in Ask SC and SFI Forum. Once you have gained the respect of your team, they are more likely to deliver the peak amount of quality work possible to explode the growth of your SFI business through Duplication.

If you can’t access the SFI affiliate center, you should promote your SFI business offline. You need to continue building your SFI business exposure in your local area.

Here are ways to promote your SFI business offline:

- Tell your friends, family and co-worker to check out TripleClicks using your TC gateway.

- Distribute TC Gift Cards/TC X-Card to friends, family and co-worker.

- Post ads on your community/college billboards provided you are permitted to do so.

- Find out if there is a community event in your area, so you can participate and distribute flyers or Wave3 X-Card/Grow a Second Income X-Card.

- Go to the library and read topics about network marketing. You can insert a TC X-Card after reading a book.

- You can join a network marketing group to promote your SFI business. When you join, you’re expanding your network of contacts. An organization need not be business related for you to be engaged in networking. If facing prospects, who are unsure about joining a business opportunity like SFI, I would ask them first, what made them inquire about the SFI opportunity. What’s their motivation? There are a lot of business opportunities offered nowadays especially in the home based business category. Once I know their motivation, I can properly assess how I will answer each one of them. Each prospect differs from one another in terms of what is behind in looking for a business opportunity. Some of them may want to supplement their income or attain financial freedom.

Since the question deals with people who are already stating or anticipating problems with the business opportunity, that they don’t have network of people where they can show that business opportunity they have inquired, I will invite them to a power point presentation to show them how the business works. In case of SFI, I will present the SFI BASICS and show them how they can perform duplication, which is the core of SFI business by utilizing the SFI tools and resources provided.

After the presentation, who knows their doubts might clear up and decide to join? After all one doesn’t need to spend money to start with SFI, just your computer, Internet connection and the willingness to learn.

Understanding the SFI BASICS is a good foundation in venturing SFI. The first step is becoming an EA being the first is quite important as the other steps of SFI BASICS. A very important factor in understanding SFI is to read and understand first its simplest form the ultra-simple 3-step plan and start pursuing EA.

To become an EA upon joining SF on your first month:

- Perform Getting Started Actions
Be a Fast-Track member by accumulating 500 VPs on your first day upon joining SFI by performing your Getting Started Action VPs and you’ll receive a bonus of 200 VPs.

- You can easily add more VPs depending on your time by continuing on doing your Getting Started Action VPs. You should organize how you tackle this section. Do not rush. Ask your sponsor/co-sponsor, SFI Forum, upline or SFI Support desk if you need clarification.

- Perform your daily To-Do List, weekly for 11 VP.

- Do a Launchpad lesson each day. You’ll be rewarded 15 VP for answering the question correctly at the end of each lesson.

You should be able to accumulate a total of 1500 VPs to become an EA at the end of your first month without investing any money.

Here are the easiest ways to become an EA2 on your second month and every month thereafter:

- Option 1: Set up a Standing Order (SO) of TCredits 125 pack. It costs $36.25 and gives you 1500VP every month. This will take care of your EA2 monthly renewal.

- Option 2: Combine SO of 100 TCredits costs $29.00 with 1200 VP and 1 TCredit for $1.89 quantity 3 totalling 3 TCredits for $5.67 with 306 VP. This will give you 1506 VP.

Your question may depend on your time frame of your primary goal and your available time and funds investment.

What would you like to be in five years? Or ten years? The ideal way is combining both methods of purchasing PSAs to save time and learning to do your sponsoring.

If you are about to retire from regular work in five or ten years, you will need to set up a plan to manage your time and funds that you’re going to invest in SFI. Sponsoring plays an important role in your goal. It may be advantageous to purchase PSAs provided you have the available funds, in this way you save time, especially if you are still having a full time job. You need also to consider the time you spend for your sponsored PSAs in communicating with them, in helping them to build their teams.

Learn to set up your own lead system and then co-op with your PSAs. You need leads to build your team. Start small and then increase your ads. Analyze your ads results and go with the ads that meet your expectation. Doing this requires some amount of time, but it can be done by managing your time efficiently. Producing a large team of passionate movers will translate into a big income! The benefit of doing your own advertising is, sharing to your PSAs your experience and this could be very valuable to them.

If you want to build and grow your SFI business, you’ll need to pursue them both. You have the potential of expanding your team of PSAs through duplication. Each new affiliate who signed up with SFI has his/her own idea or just checking what’s for them upon joining. If they don’t see the results that they have in their mind, within a short period of time, they become discouraged. Even for those affiliates, who have been here for a year or two, it could be depressing to not move up from EA to TL.

Being discouraged besides being inactive is unfortunately one of the most common problems in SFI community.

In my experience as a Team Leader, I recommend the following:

1. In your welcome message to your new affiliates, emphasize that joining SFI is a long term commitment and it involves consistency in logging in and being perseverant and determined in the face of challenges that you are always there for them.

2. Include in your weekly support message to ask them any concerns, they might have and ensure them that they have your full support. If an affiliate provided his/her telephone number, you can contact him/her. Find out the cause of discouragement. Offering your help will most likely encourage him/her to become confident in his/her to day to day dealings with SFI.

3. Encourage them to log in daily and join the SFI Forum, read the SFI news, there is a leadership challenge contest running till March 2014. You can also offer 10 TCredits, so he/she can try out the Pricebender auctions.

If you can let them feel that everyone is needed to build a strong and solid team in order to achieve success in everyone’s goal, then you have succeeded in having a more confident affiliate in your team.
