An interesting question. When we say good, does it mean beneficial to you alone or both (you and your downline)? Depending on what is define here as good, I may or may not satisfy the reader.

A new affiliate might at first be confused upon his/her first time logging in to his/her homepage. Some are slow and some are fast learner. I will not consider a slow learner to be no good, because it just takes time for him/her to learn and as he/she put her belief in all his/her SFI activities, he/she might become a super affiliate. The key to the signs of a new affiliate becoming a good one, is by showing him/herself enthusiastic,asking questions to his upline or SFI support, participating in the forum and reading past Ask SC submitted questions. His consistency, perseverance and determination will be measured by the following metrics, like VersaPoints, Power Rank, Number of Badges and Star ratings.

In my opinion, the key questions to ask for signs of a new affiliate becoming a good one are: How high is his/her teachability index? Does he/she believe in mastering the basics by applying the SFI rules of success? Is he/she willing to change and do whatever it takes to become successful?

The secret for easily qualifying for the rank of a Team Leader every month is not really secret but it’s all summed up in the principle of SFI BASICS.

1. Become an Executive Affiliate and maintain it every month.
This is the first basic requirement to move up to the TL level. You’ll need to set up a Standing Order that has 1500 VP every month. This will save you time in complying of the EA in regards to VP. You can then add another SO worth 500 VP to have the required Sales VP for qualifying to become TL. All TLs must meet the 2000 Sales VP. Your daily, weekly and monthly actions are classified as Action VPs. For BTL you’ll need 2000 Sales VP and 1000 Action VP; STL: you’ll need 2000 Sales VP and 2000 Action VP; GTL: you’ll need 2000 Sales VP and 3000 Action VP; PTL: you’ll need 2000 Sales VP and 4000 Action VP. Notice that the Action VPs increases as you move up to the next level of being a TL. To achieve this go to the second step.

2. Recruit five affiliates by applying the methods of sponsoring provided by SFI tools and resources.
If you set a goal of sponsoring certain numbers of new affiliates every month consistently, you’ll have more chance and well prepared to qualify for a TL. You’ll need also to maintain your leadership page and maintain a 3-star sponsor ratings from PSAs (not applicable if TLs have less than 5 ratings). Anyone who has joined SFI and serious about it, must have set a goal, which is important to him/her. To start finding out the most important goal for my SFI business, I’m going to ask this question: What kind of goal will make me happier for my SFI business?

There is a relationship between success and goals. People who set goals are more likely to achieve success than people who don’t set goals.

Everyone is unique. What I consider as a success may be different for you. What I have set as the most important goal (long term) for my SFI business is to be able to attain financial freedom. How much money do I want to make and in what time frame in order to have my needs and family covered and afford to live our lifestyle?

Why I have set this long term important goal for my SFI business?

- It is important to choose long term goals that excite you most and have the best positive emotional connection with because you will receive the most fulfillment with every small goals you accomplish working towards your long term goal.

- It gives me visions of what I want to achieve and provide me motivation to continue progressing.

- Achieving my smaller goals, which provide a clearer path to my long term goal, will raise my self confidence.

- My long term goal provides a clearer path to where I want to go in life and gives me a sense of accomplishment and well being upon achievement.

It’s not just that goal setting is important, the kind of goals we decide to set are important and how we go about pursuing them.

If I have to convince my PSAs to set up a Standing Order (SO), let my example, my actions and experience as a Team Leader do the convincing for them. Before mentioning the Standing Order to your PSAs, make sure that you are consistently communicating with them about your commitment to their success.

The following steps should help them to understand why SO is an important part in their SFI business in doing their Duplication process:

-Explain clearly that the first step in the ultra-simple 3-step plan is becoming and maintaining EA. Without this first basic step, how can an affiliate discover and make use of his/her potential in SFI? How can he/she achieve her primary goal? The monthly 1500VP is an important basic requirement to become successful in SFI.

-Let them know about the benefits of SO as a means of becoming and maintaining EA

- the convenience of ordering their favorite products. They just need to setup once.

- receive 10 TCredits as a result of maintaining EA2 through placing of SO every month.

- participate in bigger payouts such as direct commissions, SFIPPA, TripleClicks Executive Pool, Co-Sponsor Commissions and ECA Royalties.

In my experience of presenting the idea of TripleClicks TCredits started in my workplace. I have a good work relationship with my work colleagues. When choosing between paid or free advertising, you should make a list of questions how your advertising tool works effectively towards your goal.

The critical factor that you should consider is your money and time investments to attain your goal. Do you want to quit your job in 5 years? Do you want to start supplementing your current income in a year or two?

If you choose free online advertising, it may require considerable amount of time. There is no point of using flattery words, for honesty is the best policy. Whether they will get excited or not that's their choice. If they want to work, then SFI has all the resources for them to help them attained their goals.
