Picking one tool as the most important one and neglect or pay less attention to the rest of the tools will not make you successful. SFI tools are carefully designed and provided for the sole purpose of supporting the implementation of Duplication.

SFI provided affiliates tools for the purpose of fulfilling and achieving the three underlying principles of SFI BASICS:

1. Become an EA and remain an EA every month.

2. Recruit five affiliates using the tools (Marketing Aids, Marketing Methods) available at Marketing Center.

3. Teach your five affiliates to do these same three steps.

Let me categorize these important tools for clarity:

- Tools for expanding your network are as follows:

S-Builder Co-op, PSAs To Go, Co-op Manager, SFI/TC Gateways and Lifetime Custom Prestige Domains.

- Tools for team management and communication:

Genealogy, PSA/CSA Mailer, Affiliate Manager, Reassignment Manager, Gift Certificate Manager, SFIM and Team Mail

- Tools for marketing/advertising:

Key Codes, Hit Tracking and Marketing Aids

As you can see clearly all these tools are important and they complement each other. And when implemented fully, will give you strong support in establishing and maintaining the process of Duplication.

I will not be contented using only one or two of the tools and say the Genealogy tool is best for me, because I’m very much familiar with it or the Reassignment Manager is good for me because, I can accumulate 5VP and so on and so forth. These tools are provided for a purpose to keep you on the right track. Instead of looking for a tool preference, we should be mastering each one of them and if we discover any bug, then submit a support ticket/feedback for the benefit of the whole SFI community.

You just need to commit on your part of becoming and remaining EA every month and use these tools accordingly as the need arises in growing your SFI business.

How you can become a great salesman or saleswoman?

- Versatility

You can learn to modify your approach depending on what your prospect prefers. Having the skill of being able to shift your behavior to create better relationships with a wider variety of people is being versatile.

I’ve observed in the sales technique that people who can flex their approach as the situation demands – to make prospects more comfortable or to best accomplish the task at hand – are much more likely to be successful in influencing others. You need to be versatile, especially in your approach or doing presentation of your SFI business opportunity if you want to be great salesman/saleswoman.

Here's how you can possess this great quality of being versatile:

- Note the behavior of your prospects when you first meet with them. You’ll find out if they are friendly or reserved, fast-paced or slower, etc.

- Approach your prospects accordingly

If some of your habitual behaviors are very different from those you observe, try shifting them as you interact with your prospect. For instance, if he or she is fast-paced and loud, and you tend to be more soft-spoken and quiet, try speaking up and speeding up a little. If you’re meeting other prospect who is more formal and reserved, while you’re naturally more friendly and informal – try holding back a little on the friendliness; be willing to engage on a level of formality that your prospect uses.

- Don’t get mixed up in how you act with who you are

For some people trying the method of ‘flexing’ will mean being unnatural or inauthentic.

Here’s how to understand: You’re not being encourage to change your beliefs or values, or to say anything untrue: this is being versatile - simply shifting your behaviors. For instance: if you were conversing with someone from Italy who knew very little English, and you spoke pretty good Italian – would you insist on speaking English with this person because it was more comfortable for you? Would you feel you were somehow compromising your integrity if you spoke Italian?

If you make the habit of taking this approach of shifting your behavior when meeting new people as the situation demands, you’ll be in that sweet spot of interpersonal flexibility where great salespeople and great leaders – live and thrive.

Leading your affiliates to become serious business builders in SFI requires skills and good qualities of leadership.

As their Team Leader you should exhibit the following skills and qualities if you want your affiliates to follow you and become serious in building their own SFI businesses:

- Passion

Sharing your passion and enthusiasm with your affiliates can help you motivate them to become more productive. Passion comes in many forms ranging from:

1. Being keen about your affiliates accomplishments giving them praise no matter how small could that be.

2. Showing constant positive attitude to keep your affiliates motivated and keep the energy levels up. You can share your positive thoughts through the Stream Posts as well as your enthusiasm about the latest news in SFI.

3. Being an inspiration to them.

One way of showing them that you’re a serious business builder and inspire them is through your badge. As a Team Leader you’re a living example to them. Direct them to your Leadership page to see for themselves your achievements in building and expanding growth of your SFI business. You should always include your Leadership page link in every time you communicate with your affiliates. Your Top Enroller badges, Power Rank, VersaPoints leaderboard, etc are means of showing your determination, persistence and most of all your commitment. Your badges as displayed in your JMT gateway is another indicator how serious you are in building your business.

- Communication

You need to be able to describe clearly and succinctly how to build and expand the growth of owning their SFI businesses. Training your affiliates and creating a productive work environment all depend on healthy lines of communication. Make sure that they understand SFI BASICS and LAUNCHPAD, which are very important principles in establishing and building upon their SFI businesses. Always offer your support and be consistent in sending them your tips and advice. Ask how you can help them, to show that you care for them.

Encourage them to participate in SFI Forum and become and active contributor in Ask SC. This will create an environment of connection where your team members feel valued.

- Acknowledge and Reward

People love recognition, but are most appreciative of respect. Take the time to give your affiliates the proper accolades they have earned and deserve

At a time when people want to feel as if they are making a difference, be a thoughtful Team Leader and reassure your team that you are paying attention to their efforts. One way of showing this is by reassigning active affiliates to one of your most active EA2s or awarding Gift Certificates/TC Credits for maintaining EA2. You may also reward your affiliates when they become Team Leaders by offering them to your Ad Co-op or S-Builder. As Team Leaders of their own profitable teams, they have their own vested interest in keeping their businesses. Your action shows that you’re serious in building your SFI business, an example to them.

- Make sure that you have established regular communication with them.

- Make sure that you have reviewed the SFI BASICS, especially the subject of Duplication

In expanding the growth of your SFI business, you’ll need to educate yourself and widen your knowledge base. When you widen your knowledge base and start applying what you learned, you earned your badges.

For example, if you want to earn a badge of being a Top Enroller, you’ll need to be among the top 10 enrollers of PSAs and PRMs during any time in the last 30 days. Before earning the badge of a Top Enroller, you’ll be going through the Training and Marketing section mainly to learn how to sponsor. This won’t happen overnight. These two sections require a lot of reading, understanding and applying. You need to manage your time in going through to these sections. If I have an extra $100, how I would spend it to maximize the growth of my SFI business?

After meeting all my necessary obligations to operate my SFI business such as maintaining my TL status, gving incentives/rewards to my movers, meeting monthly expenses in advertising or purchasing affiliates, I will invest the extra $100 effectively in Duplication. Investing in duplication means looking at the factors that contribute to promote the system I've been doing to grow my business.

Specifically, I would allocate the $100 in the following manner:

- Boost the rewards/incentives to sweeten the pot to bring more encouragement to your active affiliates. If you are offering $5 GC, to your EA2s who renew, make it $10, if you are offering $10 to your BTL make it $20 and so on. By doing so, you're encouraging your active affiliates to be more productive and move up to the next level.

- Invest in your advertising or purchase PSAs from high rated ECAs at TripleClicks. Your objective is to find quality affiliates.

In my opinion, when a prospect joins SFI, he/she is very much interested to earn money to supplement his/her income and be able to improve his/her standard of living.

First of all he/she needs to understand how SFI works, so that he/she will be able to start laying the foundation of his/her own SFI business.

I would recommend him/her therefore to do the following most important list of things to do:

- SFI BASICS and LAUNCHPAD

As new affiliate he/she needs to focus on SFI BASICS and LAUNCHPAD to understand core business principles of SFI. He/she needs to acquire these knowledge in order to start on the right path.
