What makes a safe list better than another is the response rate. Besides that, it's nice to have a suite of advertising and promotional material done for you. All you really have to do is cut and paste. Now if you want to perfect your craft then you can customize everything so that it works better for you. This is done through split testing one over another. Track for improvement. The safe list that produces the best overall results is declared the winner based on your advertising efforts.
Nothing is constant in business except change. Adapt and overcome. Safe lists are free to use. So what I do is produce good results then upgrade to get better results. It is the cheapest form of advertising when compared to ppc. With proper tracking for improvement you can even generate comparable quality with safe list when compared to ppc.

What is the best way to convince someone who is over 50 that they should get started with SFI?

Anytime that you are dealing with older members you should approach them from the standpoint of savings and retirement. At this stage in life, most people are about finish raising children, and their careers are stable. They are looking forward to what ever retirement savings they can muster. Moreover, since the economy has really slump in past years, many of these individuals are concerned about recouping losses from their savings because they've either lost them or had to dip into them.
Let them know that our compensation plan is a good model and will not interfere with ones career. So for just a few extra hours in the morning or evening, they can add an addition stream of income that they can save toward retirement and savings. The can even use the money for an educational savings plan for their grand children and/or children. There is no other business model that you can start with very low if not any overhead and expense. Instead of worrying about the next economic recession than can be building a strong future with Strong Future International.

Yes, you should promote participation in Pricebenders to your team. The main reason that you should promote Pricebenders to your team is because it builds the executive pool and the larger the executive pool the more shares can be earned by EAs. This encourages your team to maintain EA at the least because you have to be EA or higher to benefit from the executive pool.
Another benefit of Pricebenders is more AVP and SVP. Members that participate in Pricebenders earn up to 500 additional AVP which is a big help when trying to reach 1500 VP. There is UNLIMITED SVP available from Pricebender auctions. Why not capitalize on all that VP and have fun while you are doing it?
Pricebender auctions are plain enjoyable and allow you a fast break away from the daily grind of sending emails, promoting on the ad exchanges, and surfing for ad credits. Get a friend involved as a side kick. Make it a game. Get in a bid war every now and then! Who knows you might just bluff the other players and take home the prize!
When you win an auction, the adrenaline rush of confidence you will get is irreplaceable. Most of us here have little experience with building a business online. We simply dive in and get started and that is what you will have to do with an auction. You can't win if you are not in the game and once you solidify in your mind that this business is working for you, there is no stopping you from achieving your goals.

What is the best way to help my PSAs understand SFI?

The best thing you can do for your PSA is to allow them the space to learn from their own mistakes. Help them when them reach out to you. Offer them your assistance and guidance. Show them that you are a leader. Listen to their concerns and empathize with their plight.
The way to grow a plant is to nurture it just enough to grow. If you water it too much you can kill it. If you fertilize it too much you can kill it. If it get's too much sunlight it will kill it. The plant needs just the right conditions to grow. So let your PSAs grow. When they need your guidance, they will ask and sometime you just have to learn the cues to look for. Learn what they mean. Every affiliate is not inactive when they are not accruing VP. If they are logging in, they may be trying to understand how things work. Every once and a while in this case, a nice E-card reminder will let them know that you are there and concerned.
Let your PSAs learn at a pace that is comfortable for them. You understand by now but they are newbies. You have to let them learn and they have to want to learn. This is the best way to help. If you try to force feed them you will run them away!

New affiliates have the best chance for success because they can glean from the collective knowledge of so many wonderful tools and resources. Back when I joined SFI, many of the tools and resources we have now were not available to us. What does this mean? You should see it clearly as their are many Platinum Team Leaders who have been in SFI for less than 1/2 the time that I've been in! Am I jealous? Honestly . . . no. They are the proof in the pudding that SFI works and is now better than ever.
So what about those short-cuts? I'd say that if you apply the information that is available in SFI now and you make Platinum in 6 mos rather than 7 years - there is no better short cut than that! Apply the knowledge - Go Platinum.

This is a good question and I must say that you must first send the communication and they must acknowledge recent in reply. Without dialogue between you, you can't get their attention. If the email for the sfi mailer has not been white listed then your team mail is not even reaching them.
In this case, use your personal email and copy the email address from the genealogy and try to get the conversation going. If the email is not deliverable then you will not be able to reach them by email.
Therefore, when email is not available you can sometimes find them on Facebook, and send them a private message there. Your goal again is to get the conversation started so reach out to them. You will be surprised to find that many affiliates have Facebook profiles that they use regularly.
Skype is also a viable option to reach out to your affiliates who are inactive. You can search for people in Skype just like you can on Facebook. Again, nothing is gained unless you get the dialogue going.
Should you get the dialogue going then just let them know that you missed them with an ecard, then maintain communication according to their needs. Some affiliates need more communication and others need less. You will know because you will respond to their needs as they as questions. Always answer questions as soon as possible.

Seeing is believing so the proof is always in the pudding. People spend their lives trying to achieve financial security and most never do. It's not because it is not possible. Everyone knows that it is possible since we all know someone who we would consider wealthy. Unfortunately most people don't believe that wealth is meant for anyone who is willing to do what it takes. It's not about luck or fortune as much as it is doing the right thing, at the right time, long enough to get the right results! The numbers speak for themselves.
You can't make be believe in themselves if they don't. What I try to do is lead by example and demonstrate by action. If you approach people this way, you will attract the right people to you and the rest just simply will not bother to believe and act. Always determine to do your part to offer an alternative. If they accept great and if not, wish them well and move on . . . .NEXT!

When you get new PSAs, it is especially important to teach them how you promote for your SFI business. Most people don't know how to promote and many more don't know the basics of computers. So may I suggest that you inquire concerning the exact proficiency level of your PSAs. A total novice will benefit from studying a basic introduction to computers. More advance users will not need this support. So find out.
Once you know where your PSAs stand, recommend the methods you use that are working for you. Teach them some of your shortcuts and tips. Don't make your PSAs need to reinvent the wheel. They should know understand that if they following your recommendations they should achieve similar results.
Some affiliates blog, others do social marketing, and still others use YouTube. All of them work when done properly. This is where you come in as the sponsor. Teach your PSAs the proper expectation and approach.

The to do list provides a birds-eye view of what needs to be done on a daily basis to promote your SFI business. Everything in SFI is ultra simple so there really is no need to reinvent the wheel. I will expound on your questions from the to do list.
First, there are the daily actions. They are all listed under daily actions. Then there are weekly actions as given by the to do list on the home page. Afterwards there are the monthly actions. Then you move down to the gold section of the to do list which means you can earn unlimited versa points from the activities in these sections. The first gold section is Tripleclicks. It is self explanatory and yet there are 100s of questions about earning more VP in the forum. All you have to do is click on the blue links in each of the sections and implement what it tells you. Simple! Finally there's the team leadership and support gold section. Again gold sections provide you with unlimited vp.
So as you move down the to do list, each blue link is designed to point you in the right direction. If you have a question about the material you read then that's what your sponsor is for not the forum! If you can't for some reason find an answer in a reasonable period of time, then you should consult the forum. Affiliates abuse the forum and neglect to use their sponsor and upline and this is a mistake. Your sponsor is the best person to give you a plan of action based on the to do list because that's how you create duplication, build goodwill, and gain synergy through your network.
SFI is basically monkey see, monkey do simple. But too many people disrespect their upline and therefore chaos ensues. Don't misunderstand what I am saying here. Yes, you can reach out to other affiliates, and the forum but I hear from far too few of my affiliates. They have a what's in it for me mentality instead of what's in it for us mentality. There is nothing that anyone can do to change this but YOU.
So get with the program your sponsor lays out for you based on the to do list and you will find that what works for them will work for you too if you work it!

When do I know that I've become successful in SFI and TripleClicks?

I know that I have achieve some success in SFI and TripleClicks because I am a leading ECA and my SFI commissions are growing. Yet, profit is not the only measure of success. What about the success of others? A better measurement of your success is how many people you help and inspire to grow their SFI business.
Therefore, I'd say the real measure of your success will be determined by how many people are you helping to grow. Every successful businessman/businesswoman leads a group of very successful people. The old saying "It's lonely at the top." is only true if you don't try to share your strengths with others.
