Hi Robert,
Great question. I have already found that throughout these pages of wisdom and knowledge are also the tools to overcome personal challenges and even that these personal limitations and roadblocks can serve to actually increase our potential.
My recommendations are to follow the guidelines in SFI Rules of Success ... especially steps # 8 and #9. (https://www.sfimg.com/ROS/ROSOpenYourEyes) After reading these Rules of Success I went out and purchased the recommended books and also Jack Zufelt's "DNA of Success" (Jack Zufelt is referenced in step #9) and have found them to be tremendously helpful in both identifying the roadblocks and how to mentally move past them (mind over matter approach). All of them are great reads and as Gery shares in ROS # 8 we should read, read, read and read!
Happy Reading!

What are the most valuable marketing skills I should teach my downline?

Hi David,
This question has caused me to ponder prior to posting a reply. There are so many methods to market and at first I was focusing on which method is the most effective. However, after pondering I would have to save my recommendation would be the MOST valuable marketing skill to teach your downline is consistency.
Whatever they choose to use for marketing be it word of mouth, e-mail advertising, PPC, social media, co-ops, or one of the various other methods I would highly recommend that they be consistent in whatever they are doing. If they do it once and then walk away success will not be theirs. Consistent action is the key. And when they find something is working better than another then consistently do that more.
Hope you found this answer helpful.

What are some ideas for marketing SFI at a job fair or free-standing kiosk in a business area?

Aubrey,
It is so interesting that you ask this question. My hometown has a rather large fair every year and I was just thinking that I should try and make a presence at next year's fair.
So now, rather than just providing an answer I will simply share some of the brainstorming that I was having the other day. And then I will look to see what your responses are so I can consider them as I consider my plan.
My vision/thoughts were:
1. Definitely have a laptop ... or several laptops available, so people could sign up right there
2. Create a loop presentation advertising SFI with their landing pages (entrepreneur and pricebenders are the ones they have at present I believe)
3. Set up a table with a few samples of TripleClicks products - and then direct them to purchase online ... (saves them from having to carry the product around with them all around the fairgrounds)
4. Have handouts present with all the marketing tools that SFI offers so people have something to walk away with in case they are not ready to make the commitment just then.
5. Have ECA information for those who have a product. I could also walk around and hand ECA information out to each entrepreneur there looking to sell their product. Maybe they would like an e-commerce channel to assist with their selling.
The fair in my hometown is a BIG deal and brings in a TON of people from all over New England (U.S.). I am thinking that this could be a HUGE earning potential (people come to the fair expecting to spend money after all) and that I could recruit some of my local team to participate in the event. The fair runs for 17 days straight presently.
Thank you for helping my creative juices to continue to flow!

What do I say to an affiliate who complains he's not getting as much out of SFI as he's putting into it?

Hi David,
Great question! I think that many of us see this sentiment in our downline or ourselves even. I think the best response is that in order to get momentum moving in a positive direction, it takes time, energy and effort to get the ball rolling.
The key is not giving up.
In Napoleon Hill's book, "Think and Grow Rich" he references Broadway and those trying to be successful on Broadway and how most people fail because Broadway is relentless in denying success. He makes an analogy that essentially says persistence will always win over failure as long as a person does not give up. Eventually failure gets tired and gives way to success. It takes time and continued effort before we start to see the tide swing in our direction.
It is good to remember that while persistence is the act of perseverance and continued effort, that effort very often needs to be varied according to our results.
Simply doing the same thing over and over again will bring the same results. This is great if the results are positive BUT if the results are not what you are looking for then it is imperative to change what you are doing (while still taking action). This is an important distinction that I think we all need to both recognize and remember.
Never Give Up .... but be open to doing things a different way to obtain different results.
I hope this helps.

I'm an EA2. What should my next objective be and how should I fulfill it?

Hi Avinash,
Congratulations on attaining your EA2 status! That is excellent!
What I would recommend as your next objective is actually 2 things:
1. Begin building your team. Advertise or participate in the co-ops or purchase of PSAs (or a combination of ways) to begin building your team. This is important to your short term and long term income.
2. Advertise TripleClicks products so you can earn some sales commissions. While PRMs are not initially in your downline (some may eventually progress there, others may not) they do provide a more immediate form of revenue ... which can then be used to build your team.
Focus like a laser on these two things and you will naturally begin to see growth and advancement.
I hope this helps.

When should I start buying PSAs?

Biljana,
I love this question because to me it is representing entrepreneurial spirit and motivation ... both important qualities to success. My personal opinion is to start buying PSAs as soon as you possibly can .... after you have achieved your FAST-TRACK status.
Please allow me to explain the rationale behind my answer:
I have for many years been a preceptor and mentor in my profession by trade. What I have always found is that I am a better nurse and a better leader when I am teaching someone else. It causes me to research best practice, review current policies and be solid in my rationale behind whatever it is that I am doing.
The same holds true for SFI. When I received my first PSA I really stepped it up a notch to learn what I needed to share with my new team. I would research and provide links (and still do, in fact) so that my new PSA would have helpful information to get them started. So because of having new PSAs early on I have learned more quickly then if I was simply taking my time to learn on my own.
If you are truly motivated and have the drive to be successful as an entrepreneur I highly suggest purchasing PSAs as soon as you are financially capable of doing so .... but after you have obtained your FAST-TRACK or EA2 status.
I hope you have found this response helpful.

How can I win one of the new Micro auctions?

Hi Nemanja,
These new Micro auctions are a great addition to our Pricebenders site! My advice in winning the auction is this .... bid on them regularly and often ... but only a few T-Credits at a time. If you are persistent you will find yourself the lucky winner!
As a general auction rule, I look for when there are many auctions going on at the same time. This way the bidding is more diversified. The micro auctions will tend to get less attention I would expect making winning them a little easier.
I hope you have found this helpful. Good luck at the auctions.
Happy Bidding! :-)

What is the best payment option for a Standing Order for an affiliate who does not have a credit card?

Hi Ikechukwu,
I just had to go make a purchase so I could see the payment options! Laughing! (I just purchased "The Business of the 21st Century" (CD) by Robert Kiyosaki. I am excited to receive my order (free shipping too!). AND I paid for my order using MRP! I am so excited!
Okay, now to address your question (smiles). If a person does not have a credit card I have a few ideas / suggestions to offer:
1. Go out and get a pre-paid card ... this can easily be used to pay for a Standing Order.
1a. When earning more than $20 commissions select the Payoneer debit card option ... this is a pre-paid card.
2. Use a checking account (this is a payment option)
3. Open a Paypal account and use that for payment
4. Check with Support to see if you can do a pre-pay for a Standing Order. Then perhaps the affiliate could mail in a money order for the amount.
5. Win an auction for a 3 month or 6 month T-Credit pack with VP ... however, the issue of how to pay for that auction order would present itself. You may be able to pay via money order for that ... I do see that it is an option in the payment section.
My strongest recommendation would be to obtain a pre-paid card. The Payoneer has the advantage of having your commissions automatically load on it. An affiliate can qualify for the Payoneer once they have accumulated $20 in commissions.
I hope this has been helpful.

What are the top selling points of SFI that should be highlighted to any potential prospect?

Hi Simeon,
Great question. Here are what I think some top selling points for SFI are:
1. You are your own boss. You can do as much or as little as you please (although expect results accordingly).
2. A second job should be entrepreneurial rather than another pay by the hour for your services job. This allows you to create a system in which you can earn a residual income from the efforts of many instead of simply being paid by the hour for the effort of you alone.
3. SFI as a company is tried and tested with a guru of knowledge at the helm (Gery Carson). This decreases risk dramatically.
4. SFI offers a strong community of support. This is important because rarely is a person successful single-handedly.
I hope this helps.

How do you work with and motivate an affiliate who has very limited internet access?
Rebecca Sayre, Aff (New hampshire, US)

Mohammed,
This is a thought provoking question, I am glad that you asked it. I think that I would try and encourage the affiliate with limited internet access to focus on direct mail marketing and print advertising initially.
If limited internet access is due to no computer I would encourage them to use a smart phone or tablet if they have that available to them ... or use the local library. If it is due to lack of internet availability that is even more challenging.
I would find out what their access availability is and strategize what the most effective things to do during that time would be. You can help keep track of Movers and send follow-up e-mails for them to help out. I am also thinking direct communication with them by phone as to progress.
Since this is an internet based program limited internet access will make things more challenging but often it is through those challenges that we reap our greatest rewards. Remind them of that.
I hope this has offered at least a nugget of assistance.
