I think this is where many people fail, there are no shortcuts to following a receipe for success. SFI outlines a simple plan for you to follow, if you follow those steps you will be successful and not overwhelmed. Remember if you liked a friends receipe and asked for their ingredients, got it then thought, well why don't I just leave out the sugar…will that taste the same nope!!! Use the tools SFI gives you, there is no cutting corners, you have a path go down it!!
I've been in SFI for one year now with no success. What should I do now?

Congratulations you have been with SFI for one year and you are still coming to work and you are open for business! Some people have started businesses and don't last one year, so you are a success. You should be able to tell people that you meet, your one year journey, the highs and the lows and in conversations pass them your business card or the W3 card for them to check Tripleclicks out. I am not sure if this is what you are doing full-time but if it isn't then always let people know what your "second job" is. People are always curious about what people are doing, just make sure your reply is informative and peeks interest!

You and You and You.
SFI supplies all the tools, you won't find so many helpful tools anywhere but here! If You do nothing with them, well the answer is obvious, nothing will be done. I see everyday the differences between Winners and Losers. The Winners use all the tools that are given to them including the Fast Track Opportunity and go with all the gusto that is supplied to them!! Bravo!!
Losers say "this is to hard, I don't understand, this is not what I expected, etc"
It is up to you to make a difference in who you are going to be! Build for Success!

Why do so many affiliates become inactive shortly after joining SFI?

Unfortunately, the most active thing an affiliate does when joining is press the JOIN now button. People are just bored or curious and have no intention of doing anything further with this business. If the word WORK is suggested that is even more reason to not begin which is what happens.
So really what is needed by all working Affiliates is to have a very tough skin. Set your long term goals and just keep going through all the tire kickers, you have a job to do and you can do it!! Once you reach your short or long term goal, just reset and keep going, this is a business that has no limits and that is the secret that most don't stick around to find out.

First of all you have to be organized, personable, goal orientated and want to succeed, so you have drive.
To be aware at all times who your movers are and give them recognition. After all, in any organization it is people that want to be recognized for a job well done, it is motivating. If you are motivated you will work, but also creating an environment for teamwork and team players . Having said that you still have to keep in mind why it is that you joined SFI. If it was to have someone else do the work for you, then you will be unsuccessful!
Be open to help and then do something with information that you are given, because it is meant for you to grow, develop and help you to succeed!

Is it better to build a team within your own spoken language and environment...or go beyond these boundaries ?

Well lucky for me English is my first and only language, so that can take me into many countries other than my own. The fact is I will go anywhere the internet connects to in this world…why??? because SFI has made it possible for us to do this. The language translate button at the bottom of each affiliate page is such a huge breakthrough for each and every one of us! If I happen to be communicating with someone that does not have English as their first language I use Google Translate and send them a letter in their own language for easier communication.

An affiliate logs in after a long period of inactivity. Should I acknowledge this? And if so, what should I say?

Every day I go to my Genealogy Report and look to see who has logged in.
If I see a person that has not been there for a long time I always make contact by sending them a letter stating that I am here to help and offer some tools to get them back on track.
I feel that if a person has not been signing in they feel lost once they do that action and don't necessarily want to reach out for help. The fact is they were interested for some reason to sign in. I look at that as opportunity to see if I can take this affiliate back down the SFI road to success. Never miss a opportunity to take them on the Journey to Success!

What would be a better goal and why? Sponsor hundreds of new PSAs every year or teach a smaller number of EAs to each develop EAs themselves?

If your Goal is to Grow…then Build….Sooner rather than later your EA's are going to become Teachers themselves because you have taught them, so why not continue to Grow your team. Because the sky is the limit with SFI, you don't have to stop. A store does not close just because it has reached its monthly sales, no…it will stay open and hope for some more sales. It is a challenge to help people become successful so continue to grow and you will feel rewarded as well as your teammates will be thankful for the opportunity to achieve!

Why is it important to have team members to take on leadership roles?
Brenda Shipowick, Aff (Alberta, CA)

Affiliate since: 04/03/2014, Power Rank: 99999999
Although most people initially join to make money, what a person soon realizes is that they cannot just sit and watch money role in. Every person that joins soon begins to see that something is going to be required of them, that is motivation to succeed. What a team leader contributes to their team is enthusiasm and motivation to begin this process with SFI.
Once a new PSA sees what their Sponsor has inspired in them it is in this learning process that they can pass on their own enthusiasm to anyone that they have joining their team, they have become a leader just by having a positive experience with their own sponsor, then it is duplicated on down. It is through participation in this program that you learn to be a leader that one may not even have known is within them. This is why SFI is so powerful, it can bring out many talents that will add to your leadership abilities!

How do you get new PSAs to commit to SFI?

As with anything in life we of ourselves cannot make another person commit to something that they do not want to do…so…why did a person signup in the first place if they did not want to do this business?? This is the question. So all we can control is our own actions and hope that those actions have an effect on our PSA's.
So if we are taking action, welcoming them, answering any questions, sending out our weekly team mail, and just letting them feel supported and excited about the benefits of being here with SFI, we can only hope that this will influence them to make a commitment, because it is a commitment that only they can make!
