First, who are you promoting the products to. This is where you need to start, especially if you are going to be promoting to a specific niche.
Look at other sites and see what items appear to be selling well at the time for the niche or niches you have chosen. Do the items appear to be good value to you. If you wouldn't be willing to pay the price asked then why expect others to pay it.
If you are going to be selling general items it is important to check out the market. While you won't be buying the items yourself do you want to spend a lot of time working on promoting an item that is unlikely to sell.

Is there such a thing as helping your affiliates TOO much?
Derek Barrington, Aff (United Kingdom)

Affiliate since: 02/24/2014, Power Rank: 99999999
The short answer to this is YES. But this will depend on what you are doing to help your affiliates.
Is it just one or two affiliates that you are worrying about or is it all of them.
No one likes to have emails on a daily or even weekly basis if they are not providing useful information to your affiliates.
If your affiliate(s) are not opening or reading your emails then possibly they are being helped too much or they are not getting the information they need to improve their business.
Are you spoon feeding your affiliates and helping them where they should be helping themselves? Everybody likes to receive helpful and relevant information, but they do not like to receive information that is not useful or relevant.
Do you find yourself doing tasks for your affiliates? You should be giving them the information on how to carry out the tasks and not doing it for them.
There will be affiliates who would take advantage if you offer to help them past the information stage. You have your own business to run, and so while you are helping your affiliates you are to a certain extent ignoring your own business needs.
Give information and expect your affiliates to act on it. Don't do their advertising for them.

What is the best strategy for attracting younger people (age 21 - 35) to become active SFI affiliates?

First of all I would ask why you would want to restrict yourself to a specific age group when trying to get active affiliates?
Personally I take and treat most of my affiliates in the same way.
There are many ways of attracting affiliates to sign up to SFI as it is free, but the problem is turning those free affiliates into active affiliates.
I believe a lot of the advertising that is done for SFI does not give the potential affiliate the information they need to make an informed decision before they sign up. For example what they need to do on a daily basis and the amount of reading they will need to do if they are going to learn the system and become successful.
Tell your potential affiliates from the start that although sign up is free and they can remain free for life that if they want their business to progress at a reasonable rate then they will need to make a monthly outlay.
Inform your affiliates that they will need to spend time daily on working their business if they want to become successful.

What is the most effective way to communicate with your team?

The most effective way to communicate with your team will depend on the programs both you and they have available to communicate with.
The most obvious way is by email, as all your affiliates will have an email address that they signed up with. This way you can send out team mails. You also have the details for individual email addresses for your team so if you just want to contact one person you can.
I make sure all my team have my Skype details and I encourage them to contact me that way. This can have problems due to time differences, so it may be quite hard to set a time when two or more are available to meet up.
My team also have my telephone number, but again the time differences can play a big part here.
If you live close enough to any of your team members you can also arrange face to face meetings.
There are many messaging and conference facilities available on the internet that you can make use of.
The important thing is that you keep in touch with your team. The method you use will depend on what facilities you have available.

What are the most effective ways to communicate with your downline to get results?

The most effective ways to communicate with your downline are email and Skype, unless of course they are local to you and then you can always do face to face communication.
You need to be passing on useful hints and tips to all of your downline and you need to keep them informed of any competitions you may hold.
Also if you have any type of reward scheme running then notify them of that.
You need to remember that a lot of people sign up out of curiosity and they are going to need to be convinced of what SFI has to offer.

Can I be successful in SFI without investing any money? And if so, how?

There is no need to spend any of your own capital when you are building a business with SFI, although it may help the proceedings to move along at a quicker rate.
I would suggest that you look into recruiting as many affiliates and PRM's as possible so as to build up your TC sales and your affiliate team.
You could then use the commission earned from your sales to purchase items you need to improve your recruitment and also your status within SFI. You would improve your status as PRM's that buy products with a VP allocation automatically transfer that VP allocation to you.

How can I get my TripleClicks Gateways to generate sales?

You need as many people as possible to see your gateways. Advertise them everywhere and as often as you can.
Advertising is a numbers game and as such the more eyes you get your advertising in front of then the more sales you are likely to get.
All of the advertising materials SFI offer you are well used and designed to give you the best possible chance of success.
If you were asked what you love about SFI, what would you say?

The training, the facilities, the freedom and the opportunity to run my business the way I want.
What more would you want from a genuine business other than the assistance you are given with SFI.
This is the only real and genuine business I have come across in all my years on the internet is SFI.
How could posting in your native language in the My Country or My Region categories in the forum help build your SFI business?

As more affiliates realize they can get help in their native language the more chance they will sign up.
If you are to send ads out to the countries speaking the same language as you, and you send them in your native language with an explanation that you will be their sponsor, you have a much better chance of gaining those affiliates.
I am interested in utilizing webinars in my marketing and training my downline. How should I go about this?

The idea of using webinars to train your downline is very good, providing of course that all your affiliates understand English, or any other language you are going to do your webinars in. The webinars I have attended and in some cases used for training have always proved to be very useful.
With a webinar you can show your affiliates what they need to do instead of trying to explain it in words. They say a picture is worth a thousand words and in my experience this is very true.
There is a far better interaction available through a webinar, although of course this could also apply when using some of the other instant messaging services.
I would start off with one of the free webinar platforms available. This would put a restriction on the number of participants in your webinar but it should be fine when you first start.
You will need to plan what you are going to teach so you have any information needed at hand. There is nothing worse than going to a webinar and having to wait while the necessary training aids are found.
Do a couple of practice runs using friends and family to get used to the way the webinar works. Again a sure way to turn new people off is you not knowing how to use the program you are using.
You need to be professional from the very beginning.
I wish you every success with your webinar venture.
