How many hours a week do I need to devote to SFI to become successful?

There is no set amount of time you need to commit in order to be successful in SFI. The amount of time all depends on you and your ability to learn, multitask and possibly outsource. In order to earn your VP from the daily tasks, obviously you'll need to login every day.
You'll need to spend some time recruiting and coaching new prospects as well. Again, the amount of time you spend doing this is totally dependent on you and your abilities. You can post classified ads, advertise on your website or blog and take advantage of paid advertising. A lot of these things can be automated, so the initial time you spend setting them up could be all you need.
So the amount really depends on you. I've read some answers that state you have to spend a lot of time online in order to be successful. I disagree with this completely. If you work smart, you will actually reduce the overall amount of time you need to spend online. Working harder or longer is not a guarantee you'll have success and it negates the primary reason most of us attempt to start a business, more free time. More time for family, more time with friends, more time doing the things you enjoy rather than having to work.
There may be the need to spend more time online at the beginning to learn about your SFI business, but as you learn, the amount of time will continue to drop. Hope this helps!

What do you tell prospects who say they aren't interested in SFI because they don't know very many people?

I tell them it's not necessary to know lots of people in order to succeed. The benefit of online marketing is it opens up the entire world to your advertisements.
By placing ads online, you're getting your message out to millions and millions of potential prospects. The internet is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Everyday more and more people are getting online in all parts of the world. You have the ability to advertise on some of the most popular sites on the internet, reaching thousands of people every day.
Because of the power of the internet, you can run a successful business without having to know many people.

How can I find affiliates who are truly interested in SFI and who will remain active?

Instead of just pointing prospects to your SFI gateways, you can route them through your own website. On your website, you can have detailed explanations of SFI and what they can expect.
Setting expectations upfront to potential prospects will help you weed out any of the people who are just looking and not really interested. Being honest in your reviews of SFI will help prospects decide if the opportunity is really for them. Plus, if they do signup, it will give you more credibility by telling them exactly what happens in the first few months of SFI.
You may not get as many sign ups, but the ones who do sign up will know what they can expect and will be more likely to remain active.
Too often people just look for numbers in the signup game and this is not the way to prospect. I'd much rather get 2 good sign ups a month than 100 who end up doing nothing.

As a new Team Leader, what is the single most important thing I should be doing?
Bryan Hammond, Aff (Washington, US)

I believe the most important thing you should be doing as a team leader is motivating your team. Lead by example and show them how to be successful with SFI.
Actions speak louder than words, so if you're not practicing what you're preaching, no one will listen to you.
This means being active every day in SFI. Posting stream updates and updating your SFI blog regularly. Send out team mails with either words of encouragement or ideas on how to make SFI more successful for your downline.
Show your team how to be successful by being successful yourself.
If you're not sure how to encourage your team, ask yourself what you would like to get from your sponsor. What would help you the most? What would convince you to keep logging in daily and completing your tasks? What would motivate you to promote your business?
Write down a few answers to these questions and send them to your team.

How can we shift from quantity to QUALITY with our sign-ups?

This is a very important question and one that some people just don't understand. Some affiliates think it's just a numbers game and recruiting as many as you can is a sure way to success. I could not disagree more. I'd much rather have 1 good PSA than 100 inactive PSA's.
One way I've had good success is by posting a review of SFI on my blog. I give an honest review and tell people what they can expect in the first month, 3rd month and after 6 months. This seems to weed out the people who are just looking and not really interested. The PSA's I'm signing up now are for the most part active and seem to be excelling with this opportunity. I still get some who are just looking, but that is just the nature of marketing online.
Don't try and oversell SFI in your review. Give people a real example of what to expect. Let them know upfront this is not a get rich quick scheme. Let them know they will need to work in order to make this opportunity successful. Let them know that it takes more than just completing your to do list everyday.
The more information you provide upfront to prospects, the better your prospects will be.

When faced with negativity in promoting SFI, how do you respond and what path do you take moving forward?

First off, I feel you should never force SFI on anyone. You do not want to talk anyone into this type of business. These are not the kind of people you want on your team. You want self motivated, optimistic people who already have a desire to own their own business.
When I'm faced with someone who is negative about SFI or any other internet based business, I simply thank them for their time and move on. It's not worth my time to try and convince them this opportunity is for them. Odds are, the people you have to convince are the ones who will not take this seriously and become inactive. Again, these are not people I want on my team.
Don't let other people's negativity derail your enthusiasm and don't waste time trying to change their opinion. Some people need the security, whether it's real or perceived, of a 9 to 5 job and could not imagine giving that up to start their own business. People have a tendency to get way too comfortable in their current situation and will refuse to change it even if their not happy with it. As a defense mechanism, they may respond negatively to anyone who attempts to take them out of their comfort zone.
There are plenty of other people out there who are looking for this type of opportunity and will take it seriously. Those are the people I'm looking for. Those are the people you'll be able to coach and show them the power of SFI. Those are the people who will take their business seriously and look for advice to help grow their team.

How do you explain the importance of MRP (Member Reward Points) to your PSAs?

You can earn MRP's in a variety of ways. You receive them when making purchases, being a member of Wave3 and can also win them in the daily grand.
They can be used to make purchases at TripleClicks. You can buy anything from TCredits to eBooks to electronics.
I personally use them to buy TCredits. When bidding, you will receive 5 to 10 more MRP per bid. Look for the Double MRP auctions to maximize your MPR earnings!
How do you handle prospects and affiliates who expect to get rich fast?

I try to be honest with them upfront and tell them this opportunity is probably not for them if they're looking for a get rich quick scheme.
This will save you a lot of frustration on your end. You won't as big of an inactive downline.
Some people will disagree with me on this, but I don't believe this is the type of business you can talk people in to. They either want it or they don't. You can't teach things like perseverance and a drive for success. They have to have this from the beginning or they're not worth your time.
That may sound harsh, but it's the truth. I don't want to waste my time on someone who is only looking for the quick buck. I want people who are interested in building a legitimate business. For these types of people, I have all the time in the world. I will do whatever it takes to help them become successful.

I am not very good at talking to people. How can I talk to them about SFI or TripleClicks in a simple and easy way?

I'd suggest you create a flyer featuring the benefits of SFI and hand this out to interested people. You don't have to say much to them. Just be excited about the SFI opportunity.
Excitement is contagious and people will be curious if you act excited. Then, just hand them your flyer and let them know to contact you if they have any questions.
Try to make the flyer look as professional as possible. Include your name, phone number, email and gateway address 3 or 4 times in the flyer.
Highlight the benefits and the compensation plan. Give them an idea about what it will be like for them if they join SFI. Let them know what they're 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 6th month will be like. Let them know what to expect and what they will be expected to do.
Try to make the flyer a couple of pages. If it's too short, people may not take it seriously. If it's too long, people may not read it.
Unfortunately, you may have to talk to them eventually, but by providing information in a flyer you can reduce the number of questions they may have.

Which helps my SFI business the most...playing Eager Zebra games or bidding on Pricebenders auctions?

I believe both will help, but bidding on auctions will help you grow your business faster. You'll earn more VP by bidding than by playing games. Plus, you'll have the opportunity to leave a review of the product you purchase and gain even more VP. Earning more VP will help you get to the next level faster and become a Team Leader. By being a Team Leader, you'll gain more respect and trust from your downline and you'll be able to influence them better.
This will open up more opportunities for you to grow as a business and team leader. You'll gain valuable experience and be in a better position to help your team.
