To invest in advertising could mean:

- Focusing on learning and applying the Marketing methods found at the Marketing Center.

As you venture SFI, you’ll be investing your time in learning how to market your SFI business. You’ll be learning and starting to sponsor new affiliates and mentor them. You’ll be setting up your goal and develop your own marketing strategy to build your downline. As you grow your downline, you’ll be mentoring them and helping them to build their downline, too – applying the Duplication process. Is it a good idea before your downline to be leading them with an affiliate designation? Besides you’re also missing a lot in regards to the Compensation Plan and Benefits Chart.

- Focusing on the Training provided by SFI.

You’ll learn and apply the valuable SFI tools and resources for growing your SFI business. This includes
Generating TC Sales and Referring ECAs to get started making money. This is very helpful, especially if you don’t have any other source to fund your basic business needs such as payment for Internet and related fees that comes in maintaining your SFI business.

Sure you’ll be earning money here but you’re missing out in maximizing your income with sponsoring and duplication, because you’re solely focussing on investing in advertising and remain with an affiliate designation.

On the other hand, investing in an EA-qualifying purchase will give you the following advantages:

Before considering the best way to maintain your Team Leader position while on vacation and supporting your team at the same time, you must be aware of what actions are required of you and how you’re going to fulfill those requirements (VersaPoints, maintaining your SFI Leadership and the minimum 3-star sponsor rating-this requirement is waived if you have fewer than five PSAs rating you) with limited Internet connection.

How do you proceed in your situation and what’s the best way?

- Plan ahead of how you’re going to fulfill the Team Leader requirements in the place of your vacation.

- Before going vacation, do as much as you can in accumulating VPs by participating in the Eager Zebra games (max. 200 AVP) or maximize your bidding (500 AVP) and don’t miss any day of performing your To-Do List. This will cost on TCredits but your goal is to maintain your Team Leader position.

- The length of time being away from home, which you normally conduct your SFI activities with your Internet connection, will affect your fulfillment of the required actions to maintain your SFI position, especially if the Internet availability is limited. So you need to find out ahead of time about the Internet availability of the area where you’re going for vacation.
