Recruiting your family members may work well for some and not so well for others. The reason being is that family members that are alright tight may work well together because they have similar interests and all parties realize what is at stake. They come together and appropriate certain aspects of the business to make it work for the team. One can work on the advertising while another works on the support and coaching. They can become a dynamic duo capitalizing on each others strengths and minimizing each others weaknesses. Keep in mind that 1 affiliate account per household address.
On the other hand, it can do more harm than good because they become competitive and divisive. This interns puts a strain on the personal relationships and they become estranged. This is toxic and should not be the case. All the money in the world is not worth alienating your family. So use good judgement and when you can compliment each other without conflict then it can be a good thing. Otherwise, put family first and recruit elsewhere.

What do successful Leaders in SFI know and do?

This is a question that everyone wants to know. Success means different things to different people but typically speaking success is a process not a event. The leaders in SFI know that the key to achieve success through the process is controlling the margin of error and maximizing your strengths to create duplication. So how do you control the margin of error?
It is has been said that success is achieved by repeating a series of actions to get desired results. Therefore, this is how you decrease the margin of error. You find something that works and teach it to every one you sponsor. It's called duplication. However, I'd like to suggest that it is a systematic way of doing something to achieve results. This is what leaders do. They follow a system, test the system for improvements, and follow the improved system. Then they teach their down line to follow that system because they KNOW that it gets results.
This is what we should all do and practice so that through the process we will become very successful.

How far should sponsors go to help their affiliates move forward, is there a point you should not go beyond?

Sponsors should support their affiliates 150%. Some say don't give them money. I say without some money how do you expect them to make a purchase? If you want to create income with your SFI business (we all do!) then you must understand that you get back what you give out!
If an affiliate is doing everything that you ask them to do, then; there is nothing shameful about sending them a $10 gift certificate. It's the best kind of reinforcement. It shows that you are not just expecting to take money from them but you are willing to share your success with them. I promise you that if you reward workers in such a way that they will be on fire! Your credibility and rapport will be strengthen and the affiliates belief in the company and in your leadership will be strengthen. Always reward your workers. If not with a gift certificate, with a word of praise and recognition. It goes a long ways.
Likewise, connect with your affiliates on a personal level but not too personal. This is where the line should not be crossed. Don't get emotionally involved with your team members. It is not good for business. Learn about their likes and dislikes - there strengths and weaknesses. It's okay to learn about general family life. That's it. Keep it professional. No lewd comments or gestures should be allowed. We work in a people business and people must be respected at the base level. Prejudices don't have place. Preferences don't have place. Every affiliate regardless of sex, race, religion, or otherwise are welcomed to work according to the terms of service provided by our affiliate agreement. No form of disparity is allowed. Treat all of your affiliates as your business partners as they are.
Finally, we will do just fine if we practice the golden rule: Do unto others as you would have them to do unto you. If problems arise, follow the chain of communication. Let your sponsor know your concerns first. Then if not satisfied reach out to your co-sponsor. Then contact your upline support. Don't wait until you have a problem to reach out. Talk to them. Let them know your concerns and goals. They are there to help you. Use the forum and A2A for additional support when needed but don't forget your sponsor has a vested interest in your success - use their knowledge and resources.

What are the benefits of using the new AFFILIATE E-Cards...and what are some good ways to use them with my team?

Personally, I love the new affiliate e-cards and the new marketing center. They are totally awesome and one of the best changes to encourage team growth and leadership. Just click on the affiliates name from the genealogy and send them an appropriate e-card to motivate, inspire, and encourage. The graphics are cool too. These e-cards make it simple to award kudos. While the benefits are all geared toward growth just a few are:
1. Boost morale
2. Build confidence
3. Build trust and goodwill
4. Give Kudos
5. Strengthen areas of progress
6. Encourage teamwork
7. Instill a sense of belonging to something truly grand
There are many others but I've told you that are just fantastic!

Should I or shouldn't I participate in the SFI PPA program?

I think participation in the SFI PPA program can be very rewarding but you have to understand the rules of engagement. You need to know that if you recruit active affiliates then PPA is going to hurt you more than help you. Nevertheless, given the activity percentage of the average SFI affiliate I believe it is safe to say that you stand to gain just as much or even more through the SFIPPA program because it pays a bounty for PSAs based on criteria that all SFIMG to determine their overall 'weighted value' which is different from the lifetime value.
Thus something is always better than nothing and if you aren't earning money from sales then perhaps you can earn by being an active recruiter. Let's make it clear that there are no commissions related to SFIPPA but a 1 time bounty that is paid when the requirements are met. The difference is that commissions are based on commission volume which is a factor of sales. All affiliates can earn 45% of the commission volume generated by a PSA and any affiliate can be paid a bounty for SFIPPAs 1 time based on a weighted average.
In conclusion, I say why not create multiple streams of income by participating in as many aspects of the compensation plan as possible. This will ensure that you are earning from at least 1 aspect of the plan. Don't try to be an expert in them all at once. Learn each part of the compensation plan and grow from 1 to several income streams. That's what I'm doing and I love it.

How do you benefit financially from the efforts of your PSAs?
Williams Ford, Aff (Georgia, US)

The question would be better worded as "How do you benefit financially from duplication?" The answer lies within the compensation plan. It is straight forward and proven to work. 10% of 100 is 10; however 10% of 1000 is 100. That's the power of duplication. The more the merrier.
As affiliates we earn 45% of the commission volume generated from our sales. So if your network produced a commission volume of 1000 you would earn a commission of $450. It can not get any more simple than that. To set back a wait for someone else to do all the work isn't smart nor is it advantageous to demand sales from your network when you are not producing sales.
Consequentially, everyone needs to focus on their financial goals and work toward them everyday. As a sponsor it behooves you to assist you affiliates in this process. If they don't succeed then you lose the leverage you would gain from having an active network. But you don't lose your own sales so you have to lead by example.

How do you identify in your affiliates the skills that could help them become stars in SFI?
Williams Ford, Aff (Georgia, US)

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
To identify skills you must build a relationship with your affiliates. Too many affiliates want to run their business on remote. Business is proactive so you must be proactive when it comes to building relationships and learning your team. You have to send out a series of communications that ask the right questions. Never send communication to your affiliates just for the sake of points. You need to learn why they do what they do and help them achieve their goals. The only way to know what skills someone has is to ask them what skills they have. Ask what kind of experiences they have had in networking, advertising, selling, marketing, etc. Find out if they have college or if they are married with kids. All of these will help you determine skill sets and how they can best be utilized to grow their business. You can use the profile to do some of this. But first hand data will be acquired when you address the issue through a series of effective communication. Then you can use that information to help polish them into the 'stars' you would love for them to become.

Of course, there is so much for newbies to learn but I usually just stick with the basics:
"I can help you reach your goals. I know why you joined SFI. I want to see your dreams come true. So why don't you take the time right now to send me a commitment letter. You'll earn 10 VPs and I will support you 150%
When you sponsor an affiliate remember:
1. Get them on the Fast Track - 500 vps in 24hrs - 200 vps bonus.
2. Get them to EA in the 1st month of signing up
3. Get them to EA2 every month there after.
4. Work with the workers to help them achieve their financial goals.
5. Set up several co-ops to recruit for your network.
6. Teach them to do exactly what you have done!
I'm in the top affiliates in the WORLD and if you FOLLOW me, I can take you to the top!"
That about sums it up!

What is the best strategy to win the E365 Championship for my class?
Williams Ford, Aff (Georgia, US)

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
The best strategy to win the E365 Challenge is to stay above the green line and be sure to make the top 300 Versa point earners. The challenge is to outlast and outperform everyone else in your class. So, that is done by being the best. Everything is laid out in the to-do list. To expand on this:
1. Earn your 365 day badge. This means that you have to accrue all of the necessary points for 365 days.
2. To be in the Top 300 VP Earners - visit your VP ledger frequently and maximize every opportunity to earn VP. Everything is accounted for in your VP ledger.
3. Growth is important so yes you want to recruit PSAs. Being a Top Enroller will help but it is not mandatory to your E365 success. I recommend at least 1 recruit per day.
4. Support your network. They depend on your experience and knowledge so give it to them by chat, team mail, and any other medium that you can.
5. You must learn to create sales in your network and to support your PRMs. Do this and your E365 challenge is 90% in the bag.
Stay focused and committed to every step above and you will not only be E365 Champion but you will be a team leader with nice commissions to show for your 1 year in SFI.

The best way to use the Wave 3 X-Cards are to carry a few with you and when you are waiting in line share them with those in the line. You can also share them with patrons when you dine out. Don't be rude but be considerate of others lunch time. You might consider inviting co-workers to lunch with you and while you wait for your food you can share them. Moreover you can tuck them inside your return mail. The clerk that accounts for your payment will be surprised to find it along with your check.
