Is cold calling, using a local telephone directory, a good method for attracting new PSAs?

I will give you an experience that I have had with "calling" people. First of all I had paid for these telephone leads from a company, so I was always under the assumption that they were interested in a business. This was not even true for supposed paid leads. So once I began speaking with them I would always ask if they had inquired about having a home based business from home for themselves. A majority of these leads were not interested, but there were a few. I actually have had several long standing PSA's from those calls.
So my point is that just picking up a phone book with nothing to indicate that the person would be interested, in my opinion would be a lot of wasted time for you. I would either buy the leads to phone people (because it is targeted to those that want to be in business and just don't know which company yet) or spend time in advertising by putting your own information for people to come to you, that is time better spent.

How much time a day, approximately, do I need to invest in SFI to build a profitable business?
Brenda Shipowick, Aff (Alberta, CA)

Affiliate since: 04/03/2014, Power Rank: 99999999
The answer is how successful do you want to be? I will spend minimum 1 hour every morning with my Business. The amount of time will vary depending on what needs to be attended to. If I have purchased PSA's and the notifications are coming into my inbox I need to immediately welcome them, or maybe somebody signed up through an advertising campaign, so this means that I must be checking in with my business throughout the day.
The idea is when you are in business for yourself you must always be present "AT THE STORE" you must live and breath this business, in order to have success, never leave your store unattended. You have advertising to do, because nobody knows your in business unless you tell them, so are you talking to your friends and family, people that you meet about SFI? You must, they have to know you are running a business and that they are free to join you and have their own business.
Set a goal everyday as to what and how you will be growing your business today, so that you will be engaged with it, shop and buy from your tripleclicks store, so that you understand the whole buying process to share with your team as you grow.
As they say time is money, you are building for your future earnings!

What is the best way to maintain my SFI position and continue to support my team whilst on vacation with limited, if any, internet availability?

Prior to leaving you should let your team know through your team mail that any pressing questions they may have they should contact their UPLINE located under the tab SUPPORT then they will see their UPLINE contact information.
In that same Team Mail out let them know when and how long you will be gone for and that you have limited Internet access just to keep them informed so that they don't think that you are an irresponsible sponsor. Even with limited Internet access make sure that you spend every day doing your to do list I was recently on vacation with limited access and I made sure that every day I did my to do list minimum, I wanted to keep up my versa points streak.
The bottom line is , this is your business and if you're going to be away you should let the appropriate people know, just like a business owner would do.

What are the best ways to use the MY MOVERS tab to maximize your SFI business?

The Movers in your business is the heart of Success! I think of all the TABS that you have to click and read everyday this is the most important TAB that you must pay attention to! Why? They are the people that are coming to work and are interested in growing their business.
It is vital that you give them all the attention and guidance that you can. It is like a seed that once you have them in your pot you have to water it everyday and nurture it so that it will grow. This applies to your PSA, once they are signing in they are telling you that they are interested and need that water which you are going to supply for them. Keep them on your daily radar and help them by sending them information that will be useful in their learning process. Do not take for granted that they know what they are doing. Some people may ask for help, most will not, so spoon feed them good information and watch your business grow!

How can you determine what TripleClicks product(s) a person might be interested in?

Everyday we are awarded VP to look at Tripleclicks latest items. If we do that ideas are presented in front of us daily that we might think of a friend or family member that might be interested in this item. There is a SFI Affiliate tab for each of these Tripleclicks items, so I just copy and paste from that tab and send it to that person I think would be interested in this. Or give a little description of this item on Facebook and ask for your friends to contact you to get further information from you.
Effectively giving the information out everyday can bring you wonderful returns to your Tripleclicks store.

Which is best for me to participate in...W3 or S-Builder Co-op?

I believe that this question is a matter of economics. No matter what country you are from the $1.95 should be affordable to everyone that wants to have this as a serious business. Most people that join SFI do so because it was free to join, and don't want to invest any amount. With this very minimal investment it can help them begin to build their business and get involved. The benefits that you get every month is very helpful to participating in the games, auctions, etc.
They never have to pay that fee again, and will always get the benefits, thats a great DEAL for people from around the world on limited available funds.
The Co-op S Builder does require an investment every month and not everybody can afford that, and there are plenty of places to advertise for free which can result in eventual PSA's.

Is it worthwhile to send individual welcome letters to new PSAs...or can I just send out group mailings?

In any organization when a new person arrives they should be greeted and welcomed. It also lets the new PSA know who you are and that there is a real person that is there to assist them in anyway they can. In this business a lot of people sign up and don't go further, so it is my job to give them a quick route to my open door policy. I like to send them a welcome letter as soon as SFI notifies me of the sign up. Group mailings are good to use on a weekly basis for your team messages which usually should be inspirational in nature and informative messages to keep everyone motivated.

Should I encourage or discourage my PSAs who want to become Team Leaders right away?

I would hate to use the word discourage as it is a negative, rather guide can be used towards an affiliate that is eager. The hard part is to figure out which affiliate is going to be able to become an executive affiliate two months in a row. Once that is established I encourage the affiliate to build a solid team before striving to become a Team Leader, or they can become discouraged by all the inactive affiliates that do nothing on their team. I encourage positive thinking by stressing that this is not a get rich quick business rather a steady consistent coming to work everyday to become their own routine. Once they get that, they are ready to become a Team Leader and will be successful!

How can I convince new affiliates of the importance of logging in at the Affiliate Center every day?

In my welcome letter to my new affiliates, I let them know that they cannot succeed in this business if they do not come to work everyday. If they do not get that then you will not see them in your movers because they do not see the value of the business that they just joined. In the end you cannot sign in for them and do the work. Your weekly group communications should be motivating enough that if they did not initially "come to work" perhaps this continual communication does the trick.

How can I provide positive but CONSTRUCTIVE criticism in my emails to my downline?
Brenda Shipowick, Aff (Alberta, CA)

I guess my question is why do you need to have any Criticism involved at all at anytime in any email.
This business is about helping one another to become good if not excellent Team Leaders. Growth and development of people is built on encouragement, guidance and duplication. So the Leader I want to be is one that leads by actions and the encouraging words that I give to each one of my Team Affilates. No matter how big or small their accomplishments are they should be met with positive words and suggestions about continuing on THEIR journey with building THEIR business. It needs to be THEIR dream that you are helping them to visualize, let them know your own path that you have forged to get to where you are today.
You cannot force anybody to do anything if they do not see the benefits for themselves, it is up to you to paint that Beautiful Picture for them, so that they will pick up the brush and start painting for themselves.
