You will find different people will be turned off by different things, and while you want to recruit as many active affiliates as you can you need to tell them the truth from the outset.
While you may not want to discuss your income with them you will need to tell them how long it was before you broke even, and how much longer it was before you were showing a profit.
We should always be telling our affiliates this is not a get rich quick scheme and to make money they are going to have to work to get it. SFI is not a free ride it is a genuine business opportunity, the emphasis on opportunity. You are given all the tools and training you need to build a profitable business, but it wont come to be profitable if you are not putting in the work effort.
Speaking from my own experience I think some people are put off by the fact they will need to recruit their own downlines. But when you explain to them the training and the methods by which they can get affiliates they seem to be more satisfied.
Some people don't like the idea of face to face selling, so let them know they don't have to do that.
You really cannot afford to be economical with the truth as you will only end up getting yourself a bad name in the industry.
I would rather have 5 affiliates join me who have all the facts before them than I would have 500 join me on falsehoods or direct lies.
If a prospect is going to be turned off by something in SFI and you decide not to mention that, it may backfire on you when that affiliate learns the truth.
Do you really want affiliates that think there is something wrong with SFI, or something they don't want to take part in. They are very unlikely to ever become an active affiliate, so avoiding something won't help when they find the truth.
