I think the best thing to do for your blog is to just talk about your personal SFI experience.
Tell your story to your readers and get them excited about the opportunity that SFI offers. Share your successes and give tips to prospective PSA's about what then can expect if they sign up under you. Describe the first couple of months as a PSA and warn them about potential pitfalls.
Most of all, just be honest about what you've experienced in SFI. Try to bring emotion in your blog and don't be afraid to tell people what you want them to do. If you want to sign up new PSA's, ask them to sign up with you.
Make it as simple as possible and give them a good idea of what to expect.

When a team member asks a question, and you don't know the answer, how can you get them the best and correct answer?

There are several ways to get answers to questions within SFI.
You can go to the forums and search for your topic. Odds are it has already been asked and discussed there. If you don't find what you're looking for in the forum, go to the Support tab. From there, you can type in your question and read the corresponding results. This section contains a wealth of information on just about every SFI topic.
Lastly, you can always have your team member contact support or contact support on their behalf.
Also, if it's a non SFI related question, search the internet for possible answers.
However you find the answer, it may be a good idea to share the question and answer with the rest of your team. If one member has a question, it's a good bet than others on your team will as well.

What is the best one-liner or sentence you can use in a general advertisement about SFI?

A global, online, home based business with an abundance of free training, a support team, guides to advertising and recruiting with nothing to buy, ever!
Use a catchy title, like "Write Your Own Paycheck" or "Fire Your Boss!" and include your favorite SFI affiliate link. I've found simple, one or two sentence text ads work the best for me.
What is the best way to convince someone who is over 50 that they should get started with SFI?

I don't think age really plays a role in this process. Use the same means that you would for someone under the age of 50. Emphasize the fact the SFI is free. They will never have to spend a dime if they don't want to. I try to emphasize this as much as possible, along with the expectation that this is a business and with any business, the more you have to invest (time and/or money) the faster you will see results. But at no time will they ever be asked to provide a credit card or pay any fees associated with SFI.
This truly is one of the few free opportunities to earn money online where there are no hidden fees or membership costs.

What is the best way to help my PSAs understand SFI?

I encourage my new team members start slowly and read through each Launchpad lesson. I tell them to re-read if necessary, but do not move on from a lesson until they feel comfortable with it. I tell them they should be able to explain each lesson in detail to me prior to moving to the next one.
This makes sure they fully understand and know exactly what SFI offers and how the program works.
I also consistently remind my team members that they should go over the training materials weekly to keep everything fresh in their minds.

Which will help me the most in becoming successful in SFI--sponsoring affiliates or referring TripleClicks members?

Both will definitely make you successful, but there's one you should focus on during your first 3-6 months with SFI.
TripleClicks - I believe you should focus on this (or train your downline to focus on this) first because most people who are looking to make money online want instant gratification. I'm not suggesting that TripleClicks will provide this, but you're more likely to earn commissions faster by promoting TripleClicks when you're first starting out.
If you have any PSA's in your first few months, they are also probably new and trying to get their business off the ground. They're probably not ready to make any big financial commitments at first until they become more familiar with SFI. If your PSA's aren't buying anything, you're not making any commissions. Plain and simple.
But, with TripleClicks, all you need to do is get a couple people to make monthly purchases or find one ECA and you're off to a great start. This will put some money in your pocket and give you the confidence you need in order to effectively promote SFI to potential PSA's.
Once you have some money coming in, it's time to start building your team. You'll have some background with SFI already and will also have proof that you can make money with SFI. This will give you more confidence and it will show through when you're explaining what SFI is all about to someone.
Plus, it gives you a few months to test drive SFI BEFORE you have a team relying on you for support. We all know that the active PSA rate in SFI is low and the last thing any new affiliates need is to see their sponsor drop out after a few months.
Hope this helps!

What's more important--the initial contact with a prospect or the follow-up, and why?

I believe the followup is crucial to creating active affiliates. When someone first signs up as a new affiliate, they are bombarded with emails. By sending an initial contact email, sometimes this can get lost in the new affiliates inbox.
If the followup is sent out between 2 - 4 days after an affiliate signs up, the odds of them reading the email are higher.
This also gives the new affiliate a chance to learn a little about SFI prior to help being offered by their sponsor. All too often sponsors will email new affiliates straight away letting them know to contact them with any questions. Most new affiliates will not even know what questions to ask for a few days.
If you can remember your first few days with SFI, there's so much information being sent to you it's very easy to forget about an email from a sponsor. But by sending a welcome after they've had some time to digest SFI, I believe it's much more beneficial to the affiliate then.

Which is best, free or paid advertising?

Affiliate since: 02/04/2013, Power Rank: 99999999
For short term success, paid is better. You'll get sales and leads faster with paid advertising.
For long term success, I believe optimizing your website (assuming you have one) for organic searches will be better. If you don't have a website, I strongly recommend you get one.
This does have costs associated with it and there really is no such thing as free advertising. Search engine optimization is A LOT cheaper, but not free. You'll be able to drive highly targeted prospects to your website at a fraction of the cost of paid advertising.
SEO will take more time initially before you see any success, but once you start getting traffic to your website, it will last much, much longer than paid ads. I've seen examples of articles that stay on the first page of Google for years. Every time you get a prospect to your site with organic search, your cost per prospect continues to drop. This is the opposite of paid searches. The more popular a search term is, the more expensive it becomes.
I think the best strategy is a combination of both. Paid ads at first to get your business off the ground, while simultaneously optimizing your website for organic searches.

How would it benefit me to transfer TCredits to my PSAs or CSAs?

This can be a huge benefit for many reasons.
By transferring credits, you are teaching your PSA/CSA's how to use TC. If they get into the habit of bidding and find it fun, they will continue to do so and buy more TCredits. This puts money into your pocket from the commissions you will make on the sale.
It also gets them more comfortable with the overall process at TC. This will help them when they are explaining SFI/TC to prospects and give them greater confidence in their presentations.
It shows them what to do as a leader to motivate their team as well. It can have a snowball effect where you can benefit from the potential sales to your 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. generations earning commissions all the way down!

Which is more effective--paid or free advertising--and why?
Bryan Hammond, Aff (Washington, US)

This depends on your advertising goals.
For short term, paid advertising is the best. This will get you the most traffic to your website or gateway in the shortest amount of time. You can target the exact prospects you're interested in and the exact segments you want to look in.
The downsides to paid advertising are the cost and the longevity. The cost can be quite expensive. The price will vary depending on where you're advertising, the length of time you want to show your ad and how many people you're looking to target.
For long term, free advertising is best. There really is no such thing as free however. Optimizing your website for search is way less expensive, but it's not free. It generally consists of placing some content online and driving traffic to it through links.
The content you place online needs to be keyword targeted, which is how you define the specific segments and individuals you're looking for. It's not as precise as paid, but still can get quite specific depending on the keywords used.
Another benefit of search engine optimization (SEO) the length of time it can last. With paid advertising, as soon as you run out of money, your ad stops. With SEO, your online content can remain out there forever. You can theoretically get traffic from a single article for years.
It will take some time to get your content ranked in the search engines depending on the methods used. This can be a downside for people looking for quick traffic.
