Is it worthwhile to sponsor affiliates who speak little English or have very limited computer/Internet experience?

Not only is it worthwhile to sponsor affiliates who speak little English or limited computer/internet experience but it can be very profitable. There is no barrier that can't be trumped when it comes to the determined soul. We can make 1001 excuses for why we or our affiliates can not succeed at SFI but the truth is that the compensation plan has been proven to work in over 137 countries just yesterday according to the global growth chart. Besides, english is taught in every country in every accredited school. Although English may not be the primary language for many of the affiliates who come here to create a strong future; there is a translation tool on most if not all pages of the SFI affiliate center.
Even so, the simplified compensation plan is so straightforward that anyone of average intelligence can follow along. The problem is that most affiliates try to cram too much information too fast and crash and burn! I say you can learn as you earn. Start with your ToDo list and learn each actionable step 1 by 1. Daily action will lead to week action which leads to monthly achievement. If you have to use the translation tool - do it! The google colors mark the spot above your countries flag with the caption TRANSLATE. Click the drop down arrow and select your preferred language. It just doesn't get any simpler than that.

If you already have your five future PTLs identified (per THE PLAN), should you keep developing more first-level stars?

Yes, you should alway develop more first level stars. It is clear as to the reason but don't forget to support your PSAs. The idea behind the compensation plan is to reward those who are good leaders and product commission volume. When you become the leader you need to be, you don't have to support subsequent generations. You will in effect duplicate yourself down through multiple generations. They should know and do what you know and do. This is duplication.
Over time things happen. So in order to maintain your income goals never stop recruiting. If someone decides after years to quit because they have saved enough money for retirement there is nothing you can do let them go. People die. Life events occur and that adds a new dimension to the equation. Don't rest your future on someone else's laurels or rest on your own! Keep moving and growing.

How do I get my sponsor to notice me and provide guidance?

You can't get your sponsor to do what he/she is not willing to do. If you find yourself in this predicament, then know this that SFI is designed with YOU in mind. There are many ways to get support in the time of need, co-sponsor, upline, support, forum, AskSC, and an A2A friend. Besides the ultra-simplified SFI Basics gives you the idea of how to build your business from a bird's eye view.
To find more detailed steps to take to build your business you can simply follow your todo list. From here, you access to tons of training information. Each link is a portal to more business building information. Couple this will your passion for achieving your goals and you will be well on your way to success.
Notwithstanding, I see the value in the support of a good sponsor. What I look for in affiliates are indications that point to determined persistence, e.g. does the affiliate log in regularly and obtain VP?, are they actively following my recommendations?, do they ask for help via email or reach out through social media? When you have a team of more than a few thousand affiliates, it's not possible to waste your time on affiliates who are not serious about building a profitable business. How do you get my attention - be seriously engaged in building your business evidenced by your achievements and badges. This business can be done very low budget and there just isn't any excuse or help for affiliates that look for something for nothing, or just want you to do it for them. If you are of average intelligence, certainly you can do this and follow some basic recommendations.

What type of news should ECAs post on their ECA TConnect Page? And who gets to see the news posted?

Great question. The news that ECAs should post in to their ECA news is any information that will build your brand and connect with your customers. Typically, you would like to include information about hot deals. Whether it is a brand new item that is specially priced to introduce it to your audience or a deep discount on an old favorite product, this is *hot* news.
Moreover, I don't see anything wrong with a 'Thank You' for orders submitted. This let's your customers and potential customers know that you appreciate their business. They could go elsewhere but they decided to shop with your ECA. Make them feel like royalty.
Likewise you can use the stream to list any discontinued or sold out items. This saves your customer time from ordering an item that is not in stock. Everything else is on an as needed basis.
As far as who sees the ECA news, those who have connected with the ECA and their downline. The ECA stream is on the Stream tab. Any ECA that you are connected with shows up in this stream. Your upline does not see this info but you can see what they post. Your down line's stream is seen by their down line and so forth.

When you initiate an online chat with a new PSA, what should you discuss?

This is a interesting scenario because I find that most PSAs are hesitate to start a chat with you as they don't know you. But should you have a bold PSA, then discuss with them just a brief tidbit about yourself. The conversation should be mostly focused around them and not you. Ask them relevant questions like Why did you choose to join SFI? What are your expectations? Do you have prior marketing experience? What language are you verse in? What can I do to help you achieve your goals. What kind of work do you do besides SFI? The key is to get them talking to you and build rapport by learning as much as you can about them and helping them get their wants, needs, and desires met. If they ask why you joined SFI be brief and honest about your experienced.

What's best for team building...doing my own advertising or buying PSAs?

It is going to depend on your set of skills as to whether buying PSAs or personally sponsoring is best. If you can recruit then you should because you can control the quality of the affiliates you receive much better when you are doing the advertising yourself. But if you can not recruit, then buy them as you can afford them. It is not going to serve your well to do absolutely no sponsoring. The reason is that your sales will be made by you alone. You will have no active network so that you can leverage the efforts of many. Although, you may be an excellent salesperson; you can only sale so much in a certain period.
Yet, if you duplicate yourself; then, you can do multiple times the number of sales and earn 45% of the commission volume generated. This may not seem like much but when you have a few hundred hard working affiliates, you can easily make $500 dollars every month with about 4 hours of work each day.
Moreover, you can always learn how to recruit. In the meantime, I highly suggest participating in some co-op at a level that you can afford. While you will not get many active affiliates quickly with consistency over time, you will get active affiliates. Free advertising is heavily used so the competition is fierce. You have to learn how to become an effective copywriter over time. So while you learn, I'd set a small budget aside to invest in growing my network.

How can I use a blog to promote SFI and TripleClicks?

A blog is a very useful way to promote SFi and TripleClicks. You should use a Wordpress or blogger platform. Be prepared to make at least 3 post every week to your blog and be prepared to do it consistently for the long run as sites are indexed over time. You should use a domain that is relevant to the subject matter. On your blog be sure to include a capture form so that you can build your list from the traffic that will start to come to your blog. The quality of the content is paramount and don't just make posts for the sake of posting 3 times a week. Create useful content and information that your audience can appreciate.

The best way to get more VP is to complete all of the actions on your VP ledger. Every action is listed their and you can get UNLIMITED VP from sales and TL qualification. So put a plan together that will ensure that you are maximizing every opportunity to get sales and be an awesome sponsor.
With all of the improvements to SFI, VP are plentiful so be sure to communicate with your upline to get suggestions as to how they maintain their rank. Do what they do and you will have the same success. If your budget is next to nil, be sure to let your sponsor know so that they can possibly offer you a small gift certificate as a reward for so you can grab some of the VP up for grabs from auction participation, and playing KO trivia.

How do you manage a large, active downline? How do you provide personalized attention for everyone?

Having a very large active downline means that you have done a very good job at duplication. You don't have to worry about providing all of the assistance to your network. You will have TLs throughout all generations. They will be happy to do their part. Yet if I get email from a 6 or 7th generation affiliate I will give them the same support I would a 1st generation affiliate. I try to answer all of my email within 24 hours. Yes, I still type individual answers based on the issue at hand.

What are the best types of businesses to focus on to maximize ECA recruitment?

Affiliate since: 07/02/2024, Power Rank: 99999999
The best businesses to focus on for ECA recruitment are small independents. The reasons are as follows:
1. They don't have the corporate sponsorship of a franchise. Franchises have websites and the budget to promote through any means that they see fit. If they chose to participate with any unapproved source, there is a bureaucracy to deal with. By the time you reach who really has the power to make the decision the answer will be will we decide when and if we choose.
2. Independents operate in local markets and many would like to expand but don't have the resources or the know how. The TripleClicks marketplace is an excellent alternative for them because its simple, quick, and easy to register and start growing their customer base.
3. Many times the decision maker is local and quite accessible. If you walk in most independents it is likely that the owner is in the store somewhere. If not they are readily accessible. They are not tied up by bureaucracy. They may be busy but not unapproachable or unreachable.
4. Because independents are typically local or unfranchised you may know the owner. They may attend your church, civic group, or have kids that go to school with your children. This makes them even more approachable.
5. Even if a business is not franchised if they have a chain of stores they are well financed. This being said, you can try to met with the owner of a chain of stores but it is more cumbersome because many of them are too busy for 'the little guy'. When stores decide to do business with other businesses it is not to sacrifice their brand or namesake. This is sensitive issue so most likely you will not succeed
but anything is possible, right?
To maximize ECA recruit, the business must feel that have everything to gain and nothing the lose. We know this to be the case so let's continue the pursuit.
