What should you say to your PSAs when they say they are going to quit because they are putting out more than they are receiving?

Fist I would ask the affiliate(s) concerned why they were with SFI.
Providing they are with SFI to build a business then I would explain to them the advantages of building an online business with SFI against building a business offline.
An offline business would require premises, staff and training facilities before you start. These facilities do not come cheap.
With SFI they don't need any of these and their training is second to none.
With an offline business you are likely to be working 12 and more hours a day to keep your business afloat
With SFI a couple of hours a day or even less will get you started, If you have more time available then spend it wisely on promoting and training.
So in the first year our offline business is likely to cost tens of thousands of dollars where out online business can be well under one thousand dollars.
As we are trying to build a business I would try to impress on anyone thinking of leaving how lucky they are to have found a real business on the internet rather than the usual scams that people come accross. Because it is a business time and some money if it is available needs to be spant on building up their new business.

Text Ad Exchanges or Safelists...which is best and why?

Both of these have their uses!
To be able to work with a text ad exchange you generally need to already have a list of 1,000's. You offer to send your ad to someone with a list of similar size to yours, or if they have a larger list some will send to the same number as you have on your list.
In return you agree to send an ad to your list promoting the persons ad that you have agreed to swap with.
So if you do not already have a reasonably sized list you are unlikely to find anyone to swap with.
There are other methods of sending your text ads out where you do not need a list. These are generally receiving thousands of ads on a daily basis so your ad only stays on the first page for a very short time. There are upgrades to these that you can buy to ensure your ad stays on the first page for longer, but if you are looking for free advertising I do not consider these very good for advertising with.
With safelists you are sending your ad to people who have agreed to receive these ads. Now a lot of those who have joined the safelist only do so to be able to get their own ads out, so you need to be able to write well enough to get them to open and read your ad.
Some of the safelists are credit based, so you have to read others ads to be able to send your own ads out. This of course all takes time out of your day so you need to know where to draw the line.
Which are the best? It really depends on which you find more success with. Personally I use safelists more than text ads, but I do use both.

Is it worth it to keep sending supportive emails to PSAs and CSAs who have 0 VP and been inactive for weeks or months?

If you are using your CSA or PSA mailers then you can easily send to all of your affiliates no matter how inactive they have been.
You never know when you are going to write something that one of those inactive affiliates thinks is a good idea, and so you gain 1 more active affiliate.
If you don't include the inactive ones in your mailing then they are never going to change their opinion of SFI or you as a team leader as they are not seeing all that is available to them.
Always include all of your affiliates in your mailings.

Which helps my SFI business the most...playing Eager Zebra games or bidding on Pricebenders auctions?

You are likely to use a lot more VP's on auctions than you are on games and so you will gain a lot more AVP's from the auctions. You also will gain from the auctions you win.
At the time of writing you will also get 1 PSA for every 50 TCredits you use in the auctions (subject to a maximum of 2 PSA's per day).
This will be giving you a double win if you happen to win the auction and spend 50 TCredits.
As things are at the moment I would have to say that the auctions are the better value and greater help in your SFI business, but this does not mean you shouldn't be using the games as well.

What would be a better goal and why? Sponsor hundreds of new PSAs every year or teach a smaller number of EAs to each develop EAs themselves?
Derek Barrington, Aff (United Kingdom)

Affiliate since: 02/24/2014, Power Rank: 99999999
The best goal to aim for is duplication. It is no good getting hundreds of inactive affiliates every year as this will not help your business or your finances.
As soon as you get a PSA you should be promoting the idea of duplication by teaching that EA to copy your methods and teach their PSA's to follow the road of duplication.
As SFI is built on duplication this is the better goal to follow and promote
What makes you persevere with SFI and not quit?

Why do I persevere?
One reason is because I enjoy what I am doing. I enjoy helping others both by answering questions in the forum and also on Ask SC.
Another reason is that I know it takes time to build up a business. Not only does it take time but also commitment.
Having gained 2nd CSA's because of the rank I have achieved, I can see what is possible. It is up to me to entice and encourage them to make EA2 and then as they build their team to encourage them to become a team leader.
I look at it that if I fail it is because of my inadequacy and not the inadequacy of my downline. I have to work better and harder to encourage my team to duplicate me so that they can also start building a good business.
You are not going to get anywhere jumping from program to program, as I know to my cost. SFI has to be the best program with the best training I have ever come across on the internet. It is unfortunate that not all the sponsors have the same view. If they did there would be a lot less fallout of affiliates and a lot less 2nd home CSA's being passed around the company.
The only way forward and the best path to success is perseverance and commitment. I'm sick of thinking of being one who fails all the time and so I have decided to work towards all my goals and at last be the one who has success!

How is building a second income with a company like SFI beneficial to me?

The building of a second income is surely beneficial to all those that do it.
Why use SFI? Mainly because of their track record. They have built up a winning formula and you to can be a winner if you are willing to follow it.
Why call it a second income? As anyone in business will tell you it take time to build trust and rapport with your customers or in our case affiliates. When your affiliates see you doing well then they know if they copy you they can also do well. This all takes time.
You start by building a second income, but if you persevere that can become your main income.

What are the personal characteristics and skills you need to become successful with SFI?

In my opinion the personal characteristic you need most is integrity. You need to be honest with your downline and let them know it takes time to earn money on the internet.
The majority of the skills you need can be learned, either from the training on SFI or your upline.
Remember everyone in SFI is reliant on their downline whether it be CSA's or PSA's. We all need to build up our affiliates and work with them.
I hope this helps. I wish you every success with your SFI Business

How can I get my affiliates to see the benefits of playing games like Knockout Trivia so they will play them?
Derek Barrington, Aff (United Kingdom)

I will start my answer by saying not everybody likes or even approves of games of chance.
That said you need to show your affiliates what the benefits can be if they participate in these games. Explain that they can win many TCredits along with gaining MRP (member reward points) and also AVP (action VersaPoints).
The AVP are going to assist them to attain the next level in their status and the MRP can be used for purchases on TripleClicks. This means although they are spending money to get TripleClicks they are getting benefits from using them.

What should I work on to build my SFI business when I can't access the SFI Affiliate Center?

If for some reason you cannot access the Affiliate center thare is no reason why you cannot carry on advertising. You don't need to be logged in to your affiliate center to use safelists, traffic exchanges or article directories or any other form of advertising you use.
You can do some personal face to face advertising or visit some local stores and promote ECAs for TripleClicks.
