What can/should I do differently in 2016 to see that my affiliates become active in SFI?
Excellent question. There isn't much you can do to control what other people do. People tend to make their own assumptions based on the information they understand even if it is a misunderstanding. Of course, people have their own personality type. There isn't much you can do about that either. However, what you can do is focus on improving your understanding of SFI and learning to discern those who are serious and those who aren't. Network marketing is about learning how to sort and sift through the movers and those who aren't willing to do the work.
Many people come to SFI everyday looking for a better alternative to improve their standard of living. Ninety-five percent of them are not willing to do the work required to build serious income. About 2% of them are willing to do the work and most of them don't know what to do. Hence, this brings us back to your question.
To see that you maximize the efforts of the 2%, be sure to follow these recommendations.
1. Be very knowledgeable about SFI's rules, policies, comp plan, and the business center. You need to be skilled at finding information using the resources so that you can provide this information at a moments notice to your team.
2. Focus on team building and the morale of the team. People won't perform well when they are disillusioned about something. Again, you need to be up to date on the latest SFI News. You need to work on team spirit. Whether it's through a contest, or giveaway, or gift certificate, do something to reward your active business centers. Praise them often and always be willing to lend a hand. I don't mind helping workers with a gift certificate as long as they meet some requirements.
3. Follow the plan as explained here: https://www.sfimg.com/the_plan It will be imperative for you to work with your team through a co-op so that you can anchor down each business center until you have the number of DTLs you want. This means you want to have active members on each level of your network. Teach them how you do what you do.
4. Recommend strategies in a step-by-step sequence to help your movers move from 1 milestone to the next. Keep it simple and stick with the basic principles. As soon as you discern a mover, walk them through the process from affiliate, to fast track silver, fast track gold, then EA. Walk them through to team leader. Then they should be able to duplicate your actions.
5. Provide visual aids and other tools to help your team. Allow them an inside look at how you run your business. Webinars, hangouts, skype, facebook groups, and other social mediums work well to add interaction among team members. You can do a Q&A session, brainstorm, and teach on marketing strategies.
6. Always follow the rules of success found here: https://www.sfimg.com/ROS/Index?referrer=search and be an awesome sponsor as described here: https://www.sfimg.com/Training/AwesomeSponsor Don't be an absentee sponsor - Lead by example.
7. Expect the best and accept what you get. Know the strengths and weaknesses of your movers. Definitely, know your own strengths and weaknesses. Everyone doesn't have the same budget or skill set. Just because we differ doesn't mean that we can't agree to disagree. We are looking for people who want to forge their own path. Be flexible enough to realize that your recommendations may work but may not be accepted as the rule. As long as everyone is productive to the best of their ability everyone wins.
These principles are such that the team is put at an advantage and not a disadvantage. Remember that your team is in it for their benefit not yours. Put them first and you will have an awesome team that respects you and accepts your recommendations. Pushing mandatory quotas, sales, sponsoring, or standing orders is going to hurt your team more than it will help. Let your motives and recommendations add value to your team and you will get value in return.
