How do I identify amongst all my downline members which ones could be superstars in SFI?

There is no way for you to know who will become a star or even an active affiliate.
My sponsor explained to me that the PSA and CSA we receive are a little better than cold leads. We have to work them all. He shared with me about a PSA that was dead on arrival and then 9 months later has become one of his stars.
How do you work them?
1. He is constantly sharing all of his successes. He also shares about his personal life struggles. You never know what will suddenly spark interest in them. They need to understand that SFI works for you. Hearing about real success will always be better than boiler plate advertising.
This is the idea behind the SHARE-ITs you receive on your alert page
You start by building trust.
I forget who shared this but one of our members use the following two advertisements and they say the results are good.
"We do this because it works and we want something for our retirement and our kid's retirement."
"This is not for all; I only want people who want to succeed."

What is the most important message I must convey to my team to prevent them becoming inactive?

All the activities are good and help you to learn about SFI and Tripleclicks.
But the reason we are all here is to make extra money. The way to retain your team is to help them to succeed. For each person the path maybe a little different. You need to engage your teams members and learn their strengths and weaknesses. Help them to improve where they need help and always encourage them.
Building a team is important to long term success but I have found most income comes from selling.
1. The easiest is to promote products on Tripleclicks and earn commissions.
2. Sell items you no longer need.
3. Find local products that you can buy at a good price and sell them. You don't need an ECA store to do this you can start by listing the item as a personal item. If you have success then open an ECA store. Be creative.

Of all the marketing tools out there I could use to build my SFI business, which is best...and why?

All of the facts and statistics in the world is not going to cause people to become active.
Your passion for SFI, sharing your successes and commenting on the new friends you have made. Sharing about the successes of your team. This is contagious. When you become personal you can make a connection and make them believe they can succeed too. Knowing that you are there to help them and that your goal is to see them prosper.
This does not happen over night. Keep sending team mail that is uplifting and exciting. You never know when someone will wake up. Be ready to engage them and affirm them as they grow.
Enjoy what you are doing it is contagious.

How do I convince new PSAs that purchasing a NMP (New Member Pack) is a smart business move?

When I have a new PSA who shows real interest in succeeding I do two things:
I offer to buy them a New Member Pack if they earn 1500 VP in less than 30 days. The 10 days allotted plus the 20 day extension. This provides motivation.
I share with them that everyone I know who has been successful in SFI has bought a Standing Order. This is much more strategic than buying a New Member Pack. This will help them qualify as an EA2 and maintain that status.
How do I encourage my affiliates to get and stay active without coming across as selfish or as a dictator?

When you are building a team you are building relationships. It is important to get to know your team members. The more you understand their personal situation the better you can help them.
Each person is different, for some playing games or bidding in actions will be their primary interest. For others they will be serious about wanting to build their own team. You can encourage them by helping them to overcome the difficulties of building a team.
Sharing your successes and how you overcome problems are always a sure way to motivate.
If you want to do more you can offer incentives for achieving goals.

What are the best ways to show your appreciation for the efforts of your most active affiliates?

For my new PSAs I make the following offer to encourage them to succeed:
Excerpt from my welcome letter:
I am making a special offer to my new team members. In order to help you learn about SFI and to help you qualify for receiving income more quickly. I will purchase a “New Member Pack” for you. It contains $ 61 worth of SFI items. See everything in the pack here:
http://www.tripleclicks.com/detail.php?item=381607
Normally you need to buy the New Member Pack in the first 10 days of your membership. It may take longer to get to 1500 points. So I would suggest applying for a 20 day extension on day 8 or 9 of your membership. To do so, go to this link....
https://www.sfimg.com/MyAccount/FT_Extension
To qualify for this offer you will need to earn 1500 VP (Versa Points) within 28 days from when you joined. You are eligible to receive the new member pack for the first 30 days of your membership, including the 20 day extension.
You do this by completing the actions under Getting Started on the To Do list page
https://www.sfimg.com/Home?tab=to-do_list
All items with a GREEN airplane symbol must be completed.
I give detailed instructions on how to earn their first 1500 VP.

For how long should my PSAs and CSAs depend on me for help?

In building a team you are building relationships. These should continue and not end.
If you have team members constantly asking for help. It is important that you do NOT do their work for them. You need to teach them how to do their own work. They will need to be able to teach their own team members.
One way to manage this is to have them successfully complete one task before you teach them the next task.
I have one hour daily and a monthly budget of $50. What activities should I do to grow my SFI business?

Realistically you will not have time to build and nurture a team in 1 hour a week.
I will assume you joined SFI - Tripleclicks to make money. If this is the case your best option is to promote products on Tripleclicks and at the same time recruit new members to shop on Tripleclicks, play games and bid in auctions. These are all activities that do not require a lot of time but can start earning you money.
I would recommend using a portion of your $ 50 budget to set up a Standing Order. This will keep you active. It is up to you what you want to buy with the standing order.
You need to develop a business plan before you will know the best way to use the balance of your budget. One possible use is advertising.

How can you recommend a product with integrity without first trying it yourself?
A big part of marketing over the internet is establishing a trustworthy reputation. Because of all the scams on the internet people start with a position of distrust. We need to overcome this by being genuine and sharing our personal experiences, in this case about the products we buy and use.
This is why Amazon puts such a priority on getting user product reviews.
When you recommend a product you are also putting your reputation on the line. If you recommend a poor product your reputation takes a hit.
To help build Tripleclicks as a great place to shop we need to make sure quality products are listed at competitive prices. So these are the products we should be promoting.

Is it worthwhile to sponsor affiliates who speak little English or have very limited computer/Internet experience?

We are always looking for quality team members. Non-English speakers do not have as many opportunities as English speakers. I believe when this group responds to an ad they are already more motivated than native English speakers.
The SFI program is already setup to help this group to thrive. Many of the pages have already been translated by SFI.
This is also an opportunity for you to learn about other cultures. I am an American who has lived in Asia for the last 25 years. I have learned a lot from engaging other cultures.
The only word of caution is it is very easy to miss communicate. But, with a little patient’s, you can succeed. On important points ask a question about what you just explained to make sure they understand. Also learn to use simple terms, they translate better.
Enjoy making new friends from around the world.
