If you can not get your upline to tell you where they have done their advertising then it will just be a case of trial and error. You can start with all the free advertising sites such as traffic exchanges and safelists.
You can find these by doing a search on Google for free advertising sites. There are also classified ad sites that are free.
Once you can afford it you should start placing paid ads. These give a far better result than the free sites.
What are some ways to demonstrate to team members the importance of reading a little daily at the SFI Affiliate Center?

You may want to point out how they can train their own downlines much easier and better if they have a really good understanding of SFI and how it works.
We have an excellent training section which shows you many ways of prospecting and marketing. It also give information on advertising. These are all things that they can use themselves and in turn pass the information on to their own affiliates.
Spend time learning how to use SFI to its full potential, as well as the best ways to do some things.

Is it worthwhile to create individual, personalized welcome letters to new PSAs using information from their Affiliate Profile?

It really depends on what sort of response you expect to receive from your affiliates. The current first email will be personalized with their name. You can personalize your email with the affiliates name anywhere you want in the email.
Would you prefer to receive a personalized email? I know I would and therefore I would afford my affiliates the same courtesy.
The chances are you wont be able to do much personalization other than the name as they are unlikely to have filled in their affiliate profile at this stage.

Since SFI has been around for many years, is the playing field fair for someone who have just started in SFI like me?

Everybody within the SFI network starts on a level playing field.
It does not matter what occupation, either online or offline, you look at, there will be those who have more experience in that particular job than you. Everywhere you look that involves a sales force or affiliate force will have those at the top and those at the bottom. SFI is no different!
You have been recruited and chosen to join, an excellent financial opportunity with team leaders who are active and willing to help their down lines. This gives you the opportunity to progress quicker than if you were on your own. Not every company on the internet offers this facility.
Your leaders will be able to advise you on what worked best for them and how you should go about your own advertising campaign. So I suppose if you look at the realities you are actually the one with all the advantages. You are the one who is getting all the help. Those who were here when it all started didn't get any help they had to figure it all out for themselves.
Look at this opportunity that you have joined, as if you are the junior salesperson with a lot of others willing to help you progress. Unlike the position in a lot of companies the number of senior salespersons is not restricted and your advancement is only restricted by your own working practices.

How can I use Skype and YouTube to promote SFI and TripleClicks?

Skype is a very useful tool for video links to your affiliates. It is much better to try and have face to face conversations than to continually be just using emails.
You can always use Skype for face to face training for your affiliates. It is much easier to show them live how to do things that they are not sure of.
As far as you tube is concerned you can make some short training videos and promote them. This will show your potential affiliates that you will be helping them if they sign up.
To some people live training can be the one thing that entices them to join under you.

How can I build a successful SFI business when I have a team of inactive affiliates and doubtful customers for my TripleClicks store?

One of the unfortunate things about the internet is the number of people who still think once they have joined a program the money will come rolling in even if they do nothing.
You will get those that sign up because they have come through a pay per sign up program. they actually get paid to sign up. A lot of them have not even read anything about the program they are joining and are very unlikely to even log in after the initial sign up.
There are also those that will sign up for anything because it is free, with no intention of doing anything after the sign up. There are also those who do sign up full of good intention and then something happens to distract them and they forget all about SFI. There are also those who sign up, look at the program, do a little bit on the first day or two and then decide it is too involved for them to bother with.
Anybody working on the internet has to accept the fact that these people do exist and it is our job to try and convince them of the advantages they will be getting by following the program. They are the ones that are missing out! You need to work very closely with those in your downline that are showing some interest in the program and while not ignoring the others spend less time with them. Certainly send out weekly team emails to all of your downline as you may well be able to convert some at a later date. The fact that they are getting emails on a regular basis could spur them into action.
I hope you find this both interesting and useful and wish you success in your endeavors with SFI

What are the benefits of Pricebenders auctions that I can promote to prospects?

One of the major benefits of the PriceBenders auctions is the prospect will only ever pay 70% of the purchase price of the auction item. Yes you will also have the cost of the TCredits to include but you are still in line to get many bargains.
TCredits can be won in various Eager Zebra games that you can use in the auction as well as in the Daily Grand and the Daily Crown.
While using their TCredits in the auctions they will also be gaining MRP which can be used to purchase many items including more TCredits

Why is it important to visit the SFI forum daily?

I personally use the SFI forum as a learning tool. Yes it may take some time to go through the things you want to learn about, but you do get a very good cross-section of affiliates answering the questions and often with examples of how they have overcome a problem.
I often notice questions where people haven't been keeping up with the daily news, (possibly they have been away), so things sometimes come out that you know nothing about, but they would be very advantageous to your working practises or methods.

Is it better to build a team within your own spoken language and environment...or go beyond these boundaries ?

While I think it is far better to build a team within your spoken language I don't believe the environment needs to be a major concern.
That said we are working in an international environment when we use the internet so I would not exclude anyone on language basis. You may have to work harder when working with other languages to put emails etc through the language converter. It is an unfortunate fact that this works better in some languages than others.
The world is your oyster so why not make use of all of it.

I think the best thing to use for the Promotion of SFI are the figures that give everyone an true picture of SFI.
It has grown tremendously over the years and all that growth is down to the affiliates who work the program and attract new affiliates. Those affiliates would not still be here if the program was not worth doing
