When starting out in SFI, is it better to invest in advertising or in an EA-qualifying purchase?

I would initially invest in an EA qualifying purchase, while using free advertising to get the word out about SFI.
I would then use my commissions to purchase the more favored paid advertising to increase my downline.
Why did I do this? Firstly I did not feel I knew enough about SFI in the first month so I spent my time learning all that I could. Then when I got affiliates I had the knowledge to assist them in the best way possible.
Should I promote the ECA program to businesses that are not online and/or do not currently use the Internet?

You should be advertising the ECA program to everybody that has the correct type of goods to sell on the internet. You will be giving them their first link with the internet.
This may be something they are, or have been, thinking about but do not want to spend a great deal of cash in setting up an internet business. Just because they are not already online does not preclude them from using the ECA program to start an internet business.
By setting up an ECA store they will have everything available for starting on the internet, but at a greatly reduced price than if the were to try setting up their own website.

How is SFI different or better than other affiliate programs?

SFI has similarities with other affiliate programs, but I have never seen an affiliate program where you have any chance of making money while staying a free affiliate. All the other programs I have seen or sampled have required a paid upgrade before you can earn commission.
The training facilities here at SFI are second to none. Again other programs offer the training to upgraded affiliates and not to free ones.
I have seen very few programs offing a daily draw without being an upgraded affiliate.
The majority of affiliate programs have plenty of facilities for upgraded players but run a very basic free program, therefore to get on in them you have to upgrade.
SFI is giving a far better opportunity to those who cannot afford to upgrade

What are the best ways to use the MY MOVERS tab to maximize your SFI business?

You can differentiate between CSA and PSA affiliates, or list all affiliates that have been active in the last 7 days.
You can have just the last 7 days movers or just new sign ups, that is those who have signed up in the last 10 days and are still eligible for the Fast Track 2.0.
You have indicators that show those that have qualified for Fast Track 2.0, those that are eligible for Fast Track 2.0 and those that have less than 72 hours to complete their qualification.
This shows you which affiliates you need to contact as a matter of urgency and offer advice on what they need to do to qualify. This gives you the opportunity to point out all the advantages of qualifying for their Fast Track 2.0 and perhaps the disadvantages of not signing up.
You also have an indicator that informs you of movers that are currently online. This means you can contact them through the SFI IM manager.

Which TEXT ADS have worked the best for you to attract PSAs?

There are many ads that work well for recruiting affiliates in SFI. The best ones could depend on where you are posting the ads, the demographic model of those reading the ads and many other factors. When you know the demographics your potential customer base then you can tailor your ads to meet the requirements of the demographic you have targeted.
What works for one person will not necessarily work for another. The best way is to build up a relationship through email with your potential customers. The best way to do this is through a signup form to your newsletter. You can then start sending emails to those that have signed up and build up a relationship.
With a relationship built up then you are now working to a warm market who are more likely to take notice of what you have to say to them.
I hope this helps you and wish you every success with your SFI business

Where are the best places and what are the best ways to get answers about SFI?

There is a wealth of training materials available on the SFI website. These are backed up with the Ask SC and of course the Forum. You also have all of your upline and if you belong to a2a you also have all your a2a friends.
All of these are good places to look for answers but probable the quickest and possibly the best is the forum. There are people on the forum 24 hours a day who will be able to give you advice.
If you are not worried about a quick answer then perhaps your sponsor and/or co-sponsor can help you out.

Why should I remain focused on my SFI business when there are other companies offering me allegedly similar opportunities?

If you find a program that works then you need to work with it. The easiest way to lose money on the internet is to keep chopping and changing programs.
Why would you want to change if SFI is working for you? You need to understand that not all the sales letters you read tell the whole truth.
The first time I joined SFI it didn't work for me, or rather I didn't bother to do the work required to build up my own business.
With all these types of program you are not going to find out if it is right for you without trying it. At least with SFI it doesn't cost you anything, other than time, to see if it works.
With any of these programs the amount of money you are going to earn is likely to be proportional to the amount of cash and effort you are willing to put in.
Think about how much it would cost you to attempt to start the same sort of business offline!

My approach to attracting new affiliates isn't working. What should I do now?

If the approach you are using is not working then I would respectfully suggest that you change your approach.
You need to look at where you are advertising and the type of ads you are using.
There are so many places to advertise on the internet it is easy to think all you have to do is put the adverts out and someone will reply to them.
Try to match your advertising to the group of people the advert is going out to. Let's face it there is no reason not to sign up to a free program. The getting them in should be the easy part, it is the convincing them that they have joined a real business that to be most successful requires a little investment of both time and money that can be a little trickier.
Are you sure you haven't missed anything in the training that can help you with attracting new affiliates. If the worst comes to the worst I would suggest getting some PSA's to go or joining the S Builder if you are having trouble recruiting.
Speak to your upline, see if they are experiencing the same problems as you. If they are not then seek out some advice from them.

How do we know if our PSAs and CSAs are serious about building a successful SFI business?
Derek Barrington, Aff (United Kingdom)

The simple answer is we don't. We do have an indication of when they last logged in to SFI and we also have our movers tab which tells us those that are working and gaining VP.
You will get those that work the first month because getting to EA is easy and cost free, but from month 2 onwards a lot drop out. This can happen with both your CSAs and PSAs.
It is up to you as their sponsor or co-sponsor to encourage them to keep working at their SFI business and to explain the advantages of remaining with SFI.
This is a business and while we would all like to be guaranteed PSAs or CSAs that will want to work at their own successful business this just does not happen in real life.

What is the best way to contact a prospective ECA?
Derek Barrington, Aff (United Kingdom)

Affiliate since: 02/24/2014, Power Rank: 99999999
Hello Ovidio.
When looking at prospective ECA's you need to assess their business as to whether it will transform to direct sales easily.
A lot of the business for ECA's could be coming from a different country, so you may have to look at import and export laws and taxes along with distribution costs.
For example large heavy items would best be sold locally whereas smaller and lighter items would travel well.
Even so it could make the item totally unsuitable for use in internet trading. this could be due to the cost of the item and then adding the cost of distribution.
Once you have done some homework in this area then I would ask the proprietor if he has any internet activities. If he does not I would introduce him to TripleClicks so he can see the type of goods and the prices they are sold for.
If the person concerned feels he can compete with the current market then I would introduce him to the ECA program.
This may seem to be a lot of initial work but not everything can be put on the internet at a competitive price, and you don't want to get a bad reputation by asking people who do not have the correct products to become an ECA.
I hope this helps you. Wishing you success in your SFI business
