Does purchasing Website traffic work, to get sales and/or SFI sign-ups?

It works but you have to make sure you drive REAL traffic to your website/blog.
Facebook paid adverts is my favorite way, but you can try to place your banner to some popular websites.
Keep in mind that results will always depend on your ad, website or blog. Behind those links, pictures and names are PEOPLE, with their needs, behavior and personal situations. Focus on your target group, and then create a campaign. If you can not get any info about the people who are supposed to visit your website, than that place is probably not that good.
Good luck!

1. Financial freedom,
2. Learning - we have fantastic chances for self improvement,
3. Since marketing is all about people and relationships, working with SFI helped me to build better personal relationships,
4. Better working habits,
5. I am always surrounded by positive people. That made me take more positive attitude, so I actually became better in everything I do.
6. I have met people from all around the world. I have met so many different cultures and lifestyles. I became more open minded. And thanks to that, I know that I have a lot more possibilities than before.

I'm told to lead by example in SFI...but how can I demonstrate this to my PSAs and CSAs?

1. SFI badges
2. Share it - use Stream tab or social networks to share your success and to congratulate your affiliates.
3. Use your leadership page on SFI
4. PSA/CSA Mailer - just visit: Training - Ask Gery - How to write e-mails to build your business (you have all answers there).
Good luck!
Should I put my CSAs into the new CSA Exchange? If yes...or no...explain why.

I think you should if it's hard to communicate with them.
Language and cultural differences can be an obstacle. If because of that you are not able to help them the best way you can, you should give them the chance to get new co-sponsor.
And you should give yourself a chance to get new, more active, CSAs.
I think CSA Exchange is one of the best improvements which occurred lately. It's a win situation for every person involved, and a great chance to make your team stronger.
Good luck

Good communication with our team is vital in SFI, but what if we are not good writers; how do we learn to write well?

1. Read and listen as much as you can - this is the best way to train your brain!
For example - English is my second language. My formal education was very poor, but I can speak English thanks to movies and TV shows. Btw, now I speak Spanish too. :)
It works the same way with writing skills. You just have to listen and read the right things.
2. Every time you chat with your PSAs and with your friends (in any occasion), try to avoid slang, watch your spelling and grammar, etc. This is very important if you want to leave good impression and look professional.
3. Blog and instructions - This could be a good training for you. Try to write some useful tips and instructions for your team. They will not be great at start, but they will become better with experience. You can google so much useful tips about blog writing. This will help a lot.
What are the most common questions you get from your downline? Write and save your answers. This will save you some time in the future too.
Tip: When you write something, don't share it. Read it only after few days, and it will be like you see that for the first time. Trust me, it makes a huge difference.
4. Keep it simple - You don't need to become Shakespeare. People need useful information, not a poem. Be honest, use short sentences, and try to say as much as you can with less words. In this case - less is more.
Good luck! I hope this helped.

1. Read, understand and apply SFI Rules of Success.
2. ADVERTISE! - Every day, as much as you can. Always try to find some new ways to place your ads. Use Key Codes and Hit Tracking tools.
3. Work with workers! - And in my experience, workers are not those people who log in every day, do Daily Actions, and nothing more. You have to find your own ways to communicate and to motivate - to teach them to do the same. Give a chance to every affiliate, but make sure you do not help "too much". You can not do their work for them.
Good luck!

SFI has great ways to communicate with your team, but am I missing out by not using outside resources too like email, Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, etc.?

Support groups on social networks (like Facebook or G+) could be effective.
For example, if you organize Facebook Support group, these are some benefits:
- Community can be motivating - When my sponsor added me to the support group I had been amazed how many people are there.
- This is very effective way to lead by example - I was not interested in games, until I saw how many people are bragging about T-Time winning.
- Team work is fantastic - If I am not online, all the people from my downline could get instant help from other leaders from my sponsor's downline. This is very important if you go global (because of the time differences).
- All new affiliates are overwhelmed with information. You could set up some first day instructions, just to point them out the most important things. You can also share tips for advertising, etc.
- Friendships and bonds with people are much stronger this way.
Possible problems:
- Sometimes can be hard to convince people that Support group is business only, and that they should take it seriously.
- When group becomes big enough, you will need some help to monitor activities.
Good luck!

What are some ideas for having an open house get-together to present the SFI opportunity?

Separate invitation and presentation!
If you invite people to your home, ask somebody else to present SFI opportunity.
If you do the talking, people will probably (more subconsciously) think that in some point they will have to do the same. Most of them will not like that idea, especially if they do not have experience.
It made a huge difference for me, when I started to follow this rule.
Good luck!
Is there such a thing as helping your affiliates TOO much?

Yes, there is!
First of all, you need to make team leaders, who will be able to pass the knowledge and good working habits on their own affiliates. They must learn to make their own decisions.
If they lean on you too much, they will never become independent. It is more important to teach them where they can find the help they need.
Second, there are people who are just lazy. Those people simply do not deserve your attention and energy.
I think you must have an individual approach. Some people do need more help than others, especially at the beginning. We all start SFI business with different marketing knowledge, some people are able to make progress faster than others, we all have different personal situations and circumstances, etc. If your affiliate gives his best, then you should too. It is all about the balance between giving and receiving.

It's true - you can make a lot of money here. But also money is something that comes and goes.
The most valuable thing is knowledge. You can get it through training section. You can open your mind and learn from people from all around the world. And the most important thing - you learn from your own experience.
This business opportunity made me realize that I can do so much more. Not only from here, through my SFI "office", but from any other place - Drop me on a dessert mountain and I will find business opportunity even there, and I can teach others to do the same!
