The first and most important fact to remember is that your SFI downline is there to make money and will be wary of spending money, as they may have been tricked by Internet scams in the past. Remember, this is a free program. Don’t pressure them into making purchases. It may frighten them off, and they will miss the opportunity to make an Internet based income
The first thing to do is practice what you preach. Spend money promoting your business, start transfer buying. Play Eager Zebra games, be involved in Pricebenders auctions. Be active in forums, and do not be afraid to ask your upline questions. It is in their best interest to help you and your team develop.
Give them information on how you have achieved successes, and warn them of any pitfalls that you may have discovered and answer their questions promptly, as they are excited about the opportunity and want to start achieving results. They may leave if you appear apathetic or lazy.
Encourage them to attract TripleClicks members, as VP earned at TC is theirs immediately and allows them to achieve EA status. And the cash can be used for promotion without affecting their household budget.
Where you lead, others will follow!

How do you explain to team members why VersaPoints appear to reset to zero at the start of each month?

The vanishing Versa Points
I use the analogy of a monthly competition. You earn points for sales, purchases and selected actions. At the end of each month the number of points that you have acquired will determine your rank within SFI and the rewards that you are entitled to this includes cash. T-Credits and second home CSA’s
At the beginning of each month a new competition starts, VP is set to zero and you start earning VP again for the new competition.
Which is better and why? Promoting SFI and TripleClicks locally and more personally...or globally via the Internet?

This answer has been answered very clearly by SFI in its getting started messages As it asks you to contact family, friends and neighbors and either introduce them to the business model or to triple clicks as a starting point.
However this is not always possible if right away if you lack the confidence to approach these people with your limited knowledge of the business model or if you live in isolation. The internet would be the best starting point.
As all things in SFI it seem to give lots of option which work to a certain degree in isolation, however when you have a balanced approach and can do both you are set to make a steady and increasing income.
In that you are leveraging you actions, as on the internet you can do the action once and set it up to do the rest on auto pilot, 24hrs a day 365 days year, the prospect you get from this may be a bit hit and miss, but you will get lots of exposure an d lots of PSA’s to refine your skills as a team leader.
The personal approach will give more EA’s however id time consuming as each new prospect is brought in and developed personal with a great expenditure of time, but will most probably have a greater return in EA’s

I would say that the most important aspect in being comfortable selling any idea is to be a subject matter expert.
That is you should learn everything you can about what you are going to sell whether it be a product or a business opportunity.
There is nothing more destructive to you self-confidence than being asked question and not being able to answer or even know where to find the answer.
My advice is to learn the subject matter- The SFI business model and practice it online until such time that you feel confident that you can answer most questions. As the internet gives you time to ask question and find the answer without damaging your confidence.
Once you are comfortable with all aspects of the business and know the answer to all the probably question, It is only the problem of approaching people, which will be significantly lowered as you are comfortable with the subject that you will relaying to others and will not become flustered when asked a difficult question because you will already know the answer or where you can find it quickly

When starting out in SFI, is it better to invest in advertising or in an EA-qualifying purchase?

To make an income in SFI you have to be EA2 at least to even start making a small profit and do not expect to make an income fast as it all takes time.
But I see no reason why you cannot do both at the same time.
In the first month you can qualify EA just by completing your initial training, so I would recommend that you advertise your business with all the funds that you have available or purchase PSA's to go or PSA;s from other source with any money you have available.
Don’t forget the fast track program; it is worth its weight in gold with 10 % extra in the Triple clicks pool. Which is income for life?
In subsequent months ensure that you reach at least EA2 preferably a TL rank, If you make purchases of T Credits and other advertising through Triple clicks you get MRP you can purchase single T credits for 126 MRP which will give you 104 VP. 15 T credits will allow you maintain EA status.
ECA’s sell various advertising mediums throughout the internet, web page traffic, traditional advertising and don’t forget S Builder Co-op which gives VP and adverting for 72 cents a day.
So in conclusion I would like to say do both, through triple clicks you can both advertise your business opportunity and get you qualifying VP for EA status

How do you allocate your time for SFI and TripleClicks? What percentage of your time do you spend on marketing, training, communications, etc.?

Being relatively new to SFI I am still in the learning stages of this myself. But what I have been doing and seem to be working reasonably well for me is.
1. I read all the getting started training in SFI and gave very little time or thought to Triple Clicks.
2. I then ensured that I completed all my daily, weekly and monthly actions were completed as required.
3. I then commenced a recruiting program for my PSA’s
4. I commenced contacting and developing my PSA’s and CSA’s.
Now that this is part of the business is underway.
I spend about 20 % of whatever time I can make available on SFI continuing the above and the rest of the time on TC learning about the games, advertising and the products.
I have commenced split testing to discover the best advertising for me, including source and landing pages, at the moment this is taking up about 80 % of my available time.
So in conclusion I would say that time allocation to the various parts of your business are dictated by where you are in your business plan and how you envisage your business going ahead

What is the best way to maintain my SFI position and continue to support my team whilst on vacation with limited, if any, internet availability?

I am going to answer the last part of the question first as I consider it more important.
I am relatively new SFI, However all good management models require that you have a succession plan in place. You start by identifying and training the leaders within your team, you will teach them the value and advantage of duplication. You will encourage them to learn all they can about the business and teach them to effectively communicate this information to those whom they lead.
You will advise you’re up line of your plan to take leave and ask them to be available for your team in your absence. You will ensure that your team leaders are aware you will be unavailable for a period and give them the up line contact details and advise them that they are expecting contact should they have any queries or issues that they help with.
In the weeks leading up to my absence I would re-frame from actively looking for more PSA as these new members would need, special attention and this attention is time sensitive in that they may miss the importance on the Fast track program and the immediate contact with you their sponsor may mean that they have gone before you even know that they are part of you team.
As far as you are concerned ensure that you maintain your position by ensuring that 1500 VP order is place. You have placed yourself on vacation on the system.
Now importantly go on Holiday and have a great time knowing that you have developed your leader to look after their Business and in doing so looking after yours. Then come back happy and refreshed ready to build your business to even higher heights.

Should I or shouldn't I participate in the SFI PPA program?

At the moment the only SFI PPA program available is supplying PSAs to go.
If you are very good at getting 10,000’s every month of PSA’s and you are not in a position to manage them yourself or re-assign them to your down line team leaders I suggest that you may want to participate in this program. You only get a minimal amount once off, and this depends on how they perform in the first 3 months.
If you only get a limited number of PSA’s I suggest that you keep them yourself and develop them into good team players which will reward both you and them.

Which is best for me to participate in...W3 or S-Builder Co-op?
James Rankin, Aff (Australia)

Wave 3 is targeted at getting customers to Triple Clicks as PRM and making an income from direct commission. They may not always sign up under you through as a lot of the advertise will be done on your car without any direct contact with you, whoever they eventually sign up under they will still add to the executive pool. (Cost 1.99 postage)
S-Builder Co-op is targeted at both PSA and PRM as direct signups under you, allowing you to build both income and a team that you can lead and help to prosper. ($24 once off $22 on SO)
Both these option will assist you in growing your business- the Wave 3 is a once off cost with monthly rewards.
S-Builder Co-op is an ongoing advertising plan which will continue to assist your business for months as you teach your team the power of duplication particularly if you and your team continue to have SO including a S-Builder co-op unit.

How can I provide positive but CONSTRUCTIVE criticism in my emails to my downline?

You cannot give criticism either positive or otherwise to your down line.
Your are their team leader and the buck stops with you. If they have an inadequate grasp of their business you have a responsibility to identify and give them the correct guidance.
If you identify an area where they are having difficulty, you should contact them by a direct team mail or email and I normally start off with
“You appear to have difficulty with this” (I then state the area) I go onto give the advice that they are missing out on valuable VP.
I then tell them what I do in this situation to maximize VP and reduce time and costs involved in achieving the best results.
I would then include a short paragraph in the weekly newsletter about this issue.
