I understand the concept of having no money! In the world economy today we have to learn to be wise with where we spend or put our money..remember this business is an investment and you will always benefit from a business that you put into.
However, there are things that you can do to earn more VP and become EA:
First of all make sure that you and your team are all doing your daily points everyday..don't forget to see your to-do-list and click the link to see the new TripleClick items (I missed alot of VP by not knowing that trick)..you should be able to earn 11 VP daily with that and Ask SC.
Secondly, enter contests. The first one to enter is the T-time, it costs you nothing but 20 seconds and the effort of 3 mouse clicks. Second make sure after doing your daily points and Ask SC you enter the Daily Grand drawing..again this is free. The other one you can enter is the TripleClicks PTP (Pick the Price)..this does cost a TCredit but if you win you get TCredits so it can't hurt to try. Also pay attention to your Upline's leadership page for any contests or promotions they may have going.
Remember that you get VP for all purchases (unless MRP are used) and for each bid on auctions. Don't forget to promote your business..you get points when your PSA's become EA2.
Hope this gives you some ideas and helps keep you moving along in your business. If you are still struggling don't forget to contact your upline they may be able to help you also! :)
Best wishes in your SFI business!

What is the best way to build a TEAM--with true team spirit--in SFI?

First off you have to define "True Team Spirit":
I personally define it as a team who is unified and dedicated to working toward a common goal. One that actively works together to achieve that goal.
That being said.. the best thing you can do to start off with is set the pace by being an expample to all those under you...PSA's and CSA's alike.
1.) Do your daily points everyday and read your training materials.
2.) Understand the rules and engage in activities..Wave3, submit answers to Ask SC, ECA, etc
3.) Communicate with your downline: congratulate every little accomplishmenht, let them know that they are important to you and that you value each and everyone of them and everything that they do.
4.) Be sure to work on advertising your business and recruiting.
Remember: The speed of the leader is the speed of the gang!

What is a good letter that I can send to potential affiliates who desire to know more about SFI?

I read somewhere recently that info that should be given to people interested should include the compensation plan. This is something that I have not heard anyone mention on this question as of yet.
The compensation plan gives a great overview of all the income streams SFI offers.
1.) They can become an affiliate and build a team, earning through VP.
2.) They can become a PRM and purchase their everyday products at a great price and help you build your business.
3.) They can become an ECA and set up their online store business, which helps them and gives you commission.
4.) Last but not least, they can participate in all 4 areas at once.
This gives people an opportunity to see what SFI has to offer and they can decide for themselves the best angle to approach for them personally.
Tripleclicks is a vital part of SFI and can make your business growth exponential. Don't loose sight of what it can do for you; if you don't promote it along with SFI itself then you are missing the mark.

What are the things that most make you proud to be an SFI affiliate?

This company has impressed me from the beginning. Gery Carson has put together an infrastructure that is so inclusive. The many avenues or streams for income is the one you hear most about.
I am proud to be a member for many other reasons. The integrity and honesty is so strong in this company. Everything I have tried before either want more and more money for nothing in return or had so much hype about what their program would do for me and how fast. This program lays it out straight forward..no hype. This not a get rich quick overnight scheme!
Two other very important aspects of this business for me are the a2a connections and the giving back to the community that SFI does. I have gotten so much assistance and information from my a2a friends and what do they get for it? The satisfaction of helping someone..I have never found an organization that is so strong in helping one another regarless of the reward! The foundations that Mr. Carson has set up for helping other organizations is a huge thing. Even the fund that was created to help during the recent typhoon overseas!
I could not think of a better organization to be involved in..everyone is given an equal chance to succeed. The playing field is level and no one is better than anyone else!
Remember that anything worth having is worth working for! See you at the top!

What do you do with affiliates who never do anything--despite your constant encouragement and offers of support?

I have heard so many comments pertaining to this question that two different thoughts stick out:
1.) Don't give up on anyone..you never know what you might say to someone a month from now that might encourage them. Or maybe their situation is such that they don't know much about online marketing and getting their feet wet. Everyone has a different situation and story; do your best not to judge or criticize your downline. The only thing you can do it keep the flow of communication open and continue encouraging, sending team mails, and provide suggestions and tips.
2.) "Work with the workers!" This is actually a complex stqatement. You must keep an eye on each of your downline and see who your workers are; they are the ones you want to work with the most, because they are already encouraged. That said, remember #1 above and don't forget your other members as well..never know what one might do with a little motivation or reward or something. Just remember to focus on encouragement and recognizing those that accomplish something..no matter how small or big!
The old saying.."you can lead a horse to water, but can't make him drink" just about sums it up. You cannot force anyone to do anything. Even all the encouragement in the world will not motivate some people..watch for the "tire kickers" and work with your team to the best of your ability!
See you at the top! Remember anything worth having is worth working for!!

What would you consider to be too much and unnecessary communication with your team?
Sheila Regan, Aff (Kansas, US)

I love this question..too much or too little can occur!
Too much communication would involve contacting an affiliate on a constant basis..this will differ with different affiliates though. I have one affiliate that I communicate with daily, but that is because he has opted to communicate with me. If I send them a welcome message and then a week later I send them another personal message or some sort, related to business of course, and I get no response then I stop the personal contact until the next month. I will, however, continue to include them in my weekly team mail.
Unnecessary communication would include redundant information, information about something that the person obviously does not need (i.e. how to advertise for new affiliates when they are enrolling more than 3 a week). Be sure to pay attention to each of your workers VP Ledgers so that you do not pester them with needless information..viewing that can give you much insight as to what they are doing with their individual business.
See you at the top. Remember that anything worth having is worth working for!

What should an affiliate do if their sponsor is non-responsive?

I was not thinking of answering this question until I received a reply from an email to my new CO-sponsor. I asked if he was looking to do any kind of contests or anything and the response I got explained some things to me that I had not previously thought of..then I read this question again and it occurred to me that I could shed some light on a different situation.
If your sponsor is non-responsive, there are some things you can do. Yes, it is your business and you need to find that all intrinsic value inside yourself and pull from that, but what is a sponsor for then? Not all of them will respond like we would like them to, however it just may be worth trying to communicate with them. My co-sponsor clued me in that he has had the same issues with his sponsors and so that is why he thought he did not have to do anything. This made me realize that many are performing the "duplication" they encounter. If you have a sponsor or co-sponsor not actively assisting or recognizing you, I recommend that you reach out to them (it may take more than one or two times) and let them know what they can do to help motivate you. They may not realize that they are possibly "hurting" or "hindering" your success by their non-responsiveness.
When we have non-responsive sponsors there are other avenues which we can rely on. Look to your upline in general, your a2a friends, and maybe even your downline if possible (I have learned that some of my CSA's can teach me some things I don't know much about). Just remember that SFI is like a worldwide network of people helping each other..my circle of influence here is becoming like family!
Just keep your head high and believe in yourself. Remember that anything worth having is worth working for!

Above all else, what is the ONE THING that has made the difference for you in succeeding with SFI?

I was thinking about this very concept the other day after coming home from my other "job". I work hard, but do I ever hear anything or get anything for it? the answer unfortunately is NO!
For me there are really two things in SFI that work simultaneously together that enhance my success: the friendships and people mixed with the recognition and rewards. No matter how small of an achievement..even winning an auction or the daily grand..I am recognized.
It is a psychological fact that if you praise someone for something they will work harder for the next level. Encourage, communicate, help and recognized the little things! These are the things that will make your business flourish.
Remember that anything worth having is worth working for!

How do you get your affiliates engaged and conversing regularly with you?

Follow the basic principles given by many: Communicate positively, encourage, and praise/recognize.
A couple of things to remember:
1.) Everyone loves to see their name in "lights", recognize those who are working and let everyone know you are proud of them..this will encourage others to want to be there as well as motivate the current workers to move further along in their success!
2.) People love to hear success stories. Don't be afraid to brag every once in a while (just keep it to a minimum, this is really more about them), if they see that you are succeeding then they may be more inclined to do something.
3.) People like to be noticed. If you are going through your SFI info, be sure to check your movers or genealogy for those individuals who may be online. Shoot them a "personal" message (i.e. Did you figure out the problem you had the other day? Did you ever decide on your SO? How was your day today?). Just make it personal to THEM! Most of all let them know they matter by letting them know you "see" them.
Don't be afraid to be a little personable. We are all human so just think about what you like to hear from people.
Success to you all..see you at the top!
If it's worth having then it's worth working toward!

Why is creating duplication in your SFI business important?
Sheila Regan, Aff (Kansas, US)

SFI is built on the concept of duplication!
Think about your business here with SFI:
What would happen if you recruited 10 people and never walked them through anything you know?
What would your commission check look like if your CSA's and PSA's did nothing?
This being said..do you really think you can succeed without your team working in the manner in which you and your upline are teaching? If they succeed because of your teachings then you win as well--a win-win situation. If they don't succeed especially because you are not teaching them, and you want to succeed then you might want to consider cloning yourself because you will have to work 10 times harder to make the profit you are looking for.
I think I would rather clone myself in others so to speak. Teach them and let their success work for you! It's not about how much they do or don't do, it's about how much you can do with them! Remember that not everyone will do something or even respond to your messages, but for those that do..teach them to be an appendage of you--reduce your work load!
To your success.. Remember if it's worth having, it's worth working for!
