Need to convince him? in Sales
I would stay away from him. From what you are saying it sounds to me like he is one of those "Make a million without working" scams that are so prevalent on the internet. I think that if you get him back here that he will use you and SFI to try to "scam" others. He says he does not like selling. What is he doing telling people to give him $100.00 but selling his pie in the sky idea. As I said, I would stay as far away from him as I could, whether he is just an acquaintance or a friend.
What are the things you can do to make coping with recent change? in Miscellaneous
2 days ago
I think change is good, and I am old. This world we live in is always changing. So far, the changes I have seen have been good for us as affiliates. I won't go into all of them because I will probably forget some, but we have really seen so many benefits. I like the Rewardicals and the way almost everyone has accepted them. I have no idea what else we will be seeing, but Gery and his staff have helped us succeed at an alarming rate. I want to suggest that you look at how these changes can help you and your team succeed. We are in a great system that can help us advance. I started a couple months after you did and we have already seen some great benefits since we started. I hope that everyone will use all of the tools we have available and grow their business as much as they can. We all have limitations, but with SFI, we have so much help available, that we should be able to overcome our limitations.
Good luck with accepting and overcoming these changes. I am sure we will see more soon.
Handling too many questions can lead to confusion in Suggestion Box
2 days ago
I understand what you are asking, but there are two things I have to differ with you on. First, I think (and this is only my opinion) it is good for new affiliates to ask the questions here. They get a lot of different ideas and opinions from some very experienced and intelligent people. There are those who think they should ask their sponsors first, but if they have no one to ask, where should they go? We were all full of questions when we started and this is, in my opinion, the best place to come to get answers. I have learned more here than almost anywhere else. The second thing is that to have the forum moderated by Administration much closer would involve having more employees tied up reading to make sure there are no duplicates. That takes money. I am by far not the brightest person around and there have been times when I did not either understand or realize what was being asked or said the first time it was posted. The next time it may have been worded a little differently and it sunk in and I understood it.
So Nkechi, I like the idea that we can all use this forum as a teaching and learning tool.
Missed Opportunity :( in Suggestion Box

I like the idea. Is there some way that we could have a contest made up where the entrants would put, 10 Rt's in it without SFI having to sponsor anything, Unless Gery wanted to(hint hint). I realize SFI would be using staff to run it. I obviously am not a techie, but maybe somebody could figure a way it could be done. It would just be a fun little side line. I am not sure my idea is legal, but maybe there is some derivation that would work.
This could be opening a can of worms, because now the NFL, Major League Baseball, Kentucky Derby. NASCAR, Indy car, Formula One, etc. fans would want their event set up. Dang. I think too much. Unless there is a way of doing it, there goes one fantastic idea shot down.
Forum post and Etiquette- What we have forgotten in Miscellaneous
9 days ago
I wholeheartedly agree with you. I have had 2 affiliates who told me they would never go on the Forum again because of the mean remarks they received from other affiliates on the Forum.
I have emailed and e-carded them trying to get them to understand that some people just are not nice, and that is by far the minority of people on the Forum.
The people who are probably the most guilty probably will not see themselves doing this. I hope that everyone will think, how would I take this if I were receiving this, before they post something negative.
Think back to when you were a new affiliate. Were all of your posts as knowledgeable and intelligent as the ones you are posting now? Also, when a new affiliate posts something that has been on before, why not kindly tell them where to find the information.
I am sure many have heard the same question a lot, but to the person asking it, it may be something that they are having a problem understanding. They do not know that it may have been asked many times before. I doubt if any of us had all the answers when we started here.
To all of us, our time is important to us and when you do not know where to look to find an answer it is very frustrating. So, if they can ask here and find out where to look, it saves them time and frustration. I see many answers, Ask your sponsors. Maybe you are their sponsor and they are afraid to contact you because these are the answers you give them.
Some people may not have good sponsors that they can get info from. So, where do they look?
I hope the people who are not the kindest or most helpful will look in the mirror and realize that they may be causing that person to shy away from SFI.
I am impressed by you in Recognition

I want to let all of you who respond to questions by new affiliates, and even some more tenured affiliates, that I am really impressed by your willingness to help everyone. It is very heartwarming to see all of the help and knowledge that is passed on in almost every post. I have been the recipient of many helpful ideas and I have also given some advise. But it is really impressive to see how much and how many of you are willing to help people you will never meet. I don't know of many organizations that are like this. Some of the credit has to go to Gery and his staff because they foster this type of atmosphere. But, it is all of you who keep the ball rolling. I just want to say THANK YOU.
PS: If you think in some way this is my swan song or that I am leaving, you are not that lucky. I want to stick around and see what other great ideas come out of you
How much of SFI emails are blocked by ISP's? in Team Building
15 days ago
I read a post a couple of days ago by Marlene K. who was asking about clickable programming for emails to downline affiliates. My question is, are the Ecards that we send to PSA's & CSA's blocked by ISP's. The reason I ask this is because in Gery's response to Marlene he states that "The new affiliate may hear from NO ONE now because many ISP's block emails from SFI. So if the sponsor doesn't personally contact them, they may not hear from ANYONE ever" I send my downline Ecards when they first sign up and they are assigned to me. I have had some respond and ask questions, but like all of us, you never hear from most of them. Are the ones that respond people whose ISP's are not blocking our emails? If there are ISP's who are blocking these, then our best bet is to email them, which will be more time consuming. I have been emailing the ones who either respond to me Ecard or have been doing some type of action. I just got 60 PSA's that I sent Ecards to and hope that they all received them
If anyone knows the answer, I would appreciate it if you would let me know.
Question on E cards in Ask Gery
There was a post a couple days ago from Marlene K. in which Gery responded and that brought up a question to me. Marlene asked about having clickable notifications to new affiliates. In Gery's second response the second notation states "The new affiliate may hear from No One now because many ISPs block emails from SFI. So, if the sponsor doesn't
personally contact them, they may not hear from ANYONE ever".
I send my new PSA's and CSA's Ecards, which I assume comes from SFI. My question is, Do these get through to our affiliates? Or can they be blocked by ISPs? I have had some of my downline respond to the Ecards, but not many of them (like everyone of us). Are these the few ISPs that do not block SFI? If there is a possibility of them being blocked, then I am assuming our best chance of getting around this is an email from us personally.
Request for time and date on Alert Page for upcoming evernts in Miscellaneous
21 days ago
I hope this is the correct place to ask this.
Is it possible to have the time and date put on when you receive a message on the Alerts Page in upcoming events. The reason I ask this is this morning I responded to 2 emails from 2 of my PSA's explaining what they should do to get started here. Now, this afternoon I have messages to contact both of them because they are asking to have me to email them. I have gone back and forth emailing them and them emailing me back a couple times now. I will email them, but I am just wondering if this was sent prior to me working with them. I was on the Alert page about 1 hour ago and these messages were not there. If the time were there, I would know if I am duplicating myself(that is an ugly thought).

Hello Maarten S.
Wow!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like that. Sometimes people need a kick where they sit. If that offends some people, they probably were not doing anything anyway. They won't come back, but those that needed to be told are going to get off of their backside and some of them will probably work to succeed. Sometimes we, as upline affiliates are afraid to offend our downline affiliates. These statements will hit them where they need to be hit. If you will approve it for me, ( and probably many other readers) I would like to use some or all of your post.
Thank you for a great post that gets right to the point.

2x rewardical for Pricebenders bidding in Suggestion Box
22 days ago
I am going to disagree with you. The MRP's are gone. Rewardicals are here now. For SFI to give 2X the Rewardicals is not a good business decision as far as I am concerned. If SFI gives too much away, there will not be a SFI and if there is no SFI, there is no us. I think we are all in this to make money and for me, I see a much brighter future now that Rewardicals are here. I am satisfied with the formula that we have now. The people who I see on this forum do not seem to be people looking for a hand out. We all seem to be willing to work for what we get. I am sure from what I have read that there will be more info coming and probably more surprises too.
What is the Best Utilization of Rewardicals? in Miscellaneous
22 days ago
I do not think we as your fellow associates know what is best for you. If you need VP's, then that is the way to go. If you have enough built up and you want to invest in Bitcoin, then that is the way you can go. There are so many options and benefits available to us. These Rewardicals are really a fantastic tool for all of us. We can use them wherever it helps us the most. You can split them up and get more than one of the choices.
I know this did not answer your question directly, but I do not think that I am qualified to answer for you.
Good luck on how you do spend them.

What are the causes of drastically reduction in FORUM ... in Miscellaneous
24 days ago
I have asked for help and I must say that I got many responses. Some were over my head that I did not understand and others hit the nail right on the head.
I wonder if there are not less responses because of the change from people thanking, congratulating, and agreeing with a post to now when all you do is click the button to do those actions. In that way I think there was a lot of (let's say) useless posts. I know I was guilty of it.
There, I got my 2 cents worth in without clicking a button.
How can I send a welcome letter to my new PSA? in Team Building
24 days ago
Go to your Tool on the black bar and click on it. Scroll down to Genealogy and click on that. That opens and find your new PSA's name. Either click on their ID number or their name. Now their snapshot with information opens. If they have their photo set up their picture will be there. If not it just says "no photo available". Right under that there are 4 icons. The far right of the 4 is a paper airplane. Click that and it opens a box which says "Select E Card Category". Open that and choose which card you want to send.(Probably "Welcome", then click "Initiate". Now the different "welcome" or whichever one you chose will open. Click on whichever card you want to send. Then there will be the message box where you write what you want to say. Make sure you write in their name in both boxes(Greeting and also Content). After you finish writing your message scroll down to "Save as Default(If you want to use it to say the same to your next PSA), then click "I agree", then the blue Send" button. Just make sure if you do it this way that you change the name in both boxes for the next person.
Or if you just copy their email address and send them an email. But that way you always have to write a new message.
Another way is to save your message and cut and paste it each time you get a new PSA or CSA.
I hope this helps. I got this from my co-sponsor when I asked if there was an easier way than writing a new letter each time I got someone new.
Looking for advices!! in Team Building
From what you are telling us, you are doing the best that you can. We all have people who just are not interested in what we are telling them, want us to do the work for them because they think that they are entitled to it, don't believe us, and are just too lazy. If you keep sending them ideas and advice, the people who are going to succeed will do so. I think our job as team leaders is to give them the information on a regular basis, help the ones who are willing to work and learn, and lead the way. The ones who are not interested and unwilling to do what is necessary will never accomplish anything. I have read it here and also in the Launch Pad Lessons, Work with the workers and let the other go. Don't waste your time on them.
I wish I had more doers than don'ts on my team, but the reality of it is, we are all in the same boat. I had my own businesses that I started from nothing and I would tell my sales people, " 5% of your customers will be good customers. 95% may never buy from you. So, spend your efforts on the 5%, not the 95%.
Good luck and I hope your 5% work out.
Does anyone know this past ECA? I have been looking for them. in ECA Program
25 days ago
You two are fun to listen to. when I first got elected to our Town Board I was told by our Chairman that "We have to agree we can disagree". You two are good at that. I agree with you Tall Ship that there has to be a way of notifying affiliates of a fraudulent ECO. Is the forum the place for that? I am not experienced or smart enough or in the position in SFI to make that decision. But, I would really like it if I were going to purchase something or one of my downline were going to and there was somewhere to search out if they were reputable. There is my 2 cents worth. You two are on about 50 cents worth. Just kidding.
Does anyone know this past ECA? I have been looking for them. in ECA Program
25 days ago
Hey you two. Enough is enough. It appears to me that neither of you are going to change. I do agree that if there is an ECA that is fraudulent that there should be some way of notifying everyone that they are to be avoided. I was not around when there was a way of letting affiliates know that someone was a fraud, but how else can we be protected from them? Everyone knows of all of the fraud on the Internet now days. If you don't, what about all of the problems we have recruiting new affiliates and the schemes out there. So, I would like to see a place where we as affiliates can put names in that have defrauded one of us. I know there is the probability of people putting somebodies name there to spite someone, but maybe there could be some kind of minimum before it is published. This may be more work than it is worth, but like I have said before, I am full of ideas. Some good, some bad, and some in between. If this is a feasible idea, I am sure we can work on it to make it workable.
MRP conversion in to VP or Rewardicals in Miscellaneous

That is a great idea. With all of the natural tragedies that have occurred it would be nice to help the Red Cross. I think that the Red Cross is the one International organization that helps everywhere. I personally have seen their work and agree wholeheartedly.
